An odd pairing, yet it wasn’t misplaced, Souji and Takara were given an important task by Aokidanza, the Hokage. In the hand of Souji was the scroll that concealed the shinobi Raijin of the village hidden in the sand. A former home of Souji, a foreign home to Takara through the connections of Konoha and Suna.

“Is this difficult for you, Souji?”

The girl inquired, her eyes aiming to connect with the eyepatch Hyuuga. He remained quiet for a few strides. Deciding if it was or not for him. He graced her with his violet eyes and smiled. Shaking his head subtly as they advanced through the village streets on their way to the prison.

“No, not anymore. Aoki- Lord Hokage informed me that he saw no reason to kill Raijin. Oddly, despite knowing who he is and what he’s capable of, I believe him. However, it does puzzle me as to why he requested that I be the one to deliver him to the prison. But then again, it only makes sense that I be the one to do it. A familiar face upon release would ease him and his spirit. And I have no doubt that he’s testing me.”

He’s words were calm, as if he gave it much though in that little bit of time. Takara could see it in his face that he was carrying a burden. This was a cruel game her father was playing at, but it was his way. No wasted movements.

“I see… so does that make you feel dirty? You know, like you’re betraying your people.”

Souji paused as he thought about it. Looking at her he could tell she’s not much different from him. She asked questions that pulled at strings within him. Better than any gentle fist technique he could ever use. Was she to Aokidanza what he was to Mizuki? He had to wonder.

“I guess it does, in a way. But, it’s rather poetic.”

He replied.

“Poetic?”

She insisted on that response.

“Yeah, very. Konoha was my original home. I defected from this village when it was under the thumb of Kirigakure. Back then it was won by war and thus we suffered for some time. Hardship overtook the clans within the village. Mine especially. But now, Suna is in the same predicament, only this time it is Konoha that’s the victor. Lord Hokage is a pretty powerful shinobi, and his followers are no short of that. Even you, Takara. I can see the enormous chakra that you have within. It’s almost terrifying.”

He spoke true. His words compliments her to a slight blush that she was left speechless for a few seconds.

“You think so?”

She said lowly, thinking about what he said. The two would approach the bridge that leads to the entrance of the prison. The village have changed so much since he last saw it. Upon entering the prison they were greeted by one of the guards. Souji explained the purpose of their visit and was escorted to one of the holding cells. Upon being there Souji would release Raijin from the scroll. At which he was instantly marked with a seal at the nape of his neck to suppress his chakra (AP) and debuff both his speed and strength by half.

Souji would look upon Raijin with a stoic expression, though he felt bad.

“Raijin, are you alright? It’s me, Souji.”

Of course Raijin would remember Souji as the Master rank of Suna and the Kazekage Head Advisor. Takara would look at the man carefully as she smiles and waved childishly at him, innocently.

“I don’t see any surface wounds, he must have been taken down suddenly non-lethally.”

Souji knew the reason for that. His armor was taken. Something that Raijin was proud of. To take his pride and honor was a lot. Not to mention that his equipment and all that was in his possession was already confiscated in Suna by Aokidanza and his party. That includes the Transplants within his inventory.

It felt like a minute but something was off, Raijin couldn't put his finger on it. He was at home? No no this wasn't home this was somewhere else he was struggling to piece it together, last he remembered was that he was given a new tank of jounin and he was given the green light to learn one of the villages techniques and he was excited. Then something happened at the gates where the kage went to handle it. He was starting to make a name for him just before we something....happened. His eyes would wander the dark room adjusting to it before he looked at the two figures before him. The silver hair ninja would focus on both of them before finally making out what the male said.

"Souji? Souji....kazekage..in trouble. Gotta help...."Raijin didn't realize what happened just yet though his eyes did readjust as his critical thinking quickly came back as he realized, oh shit it's Souji, he hasn't seen him since Miziku disappeared from office then he looked at the one next to him as he realized he was in a cell. He would immediately kick into action and reached for his hip where his blade, Mizuki, was normally held at just to realize that it wasn't there. Then he noticed something more, his clothes weren't what he was wearing before, everything was gone and this made him panic but he couldn't show it. The bead of sweat that went down his face could be seen by a very trained eye speaking of his ketsuryugan wasn't giving him a headache so he's in the real world.

He would look at the woman next to Souji examining her trying to figure out who she was and what exactly was her purpose. Was she his girlfriend, why did he bring her here, why was he here, where the hell is here!? "Where the hell am I?" He finally asked as he scanned the room thinking about a possible escape plan. This wasn't the same "Naki" from suna to Souji this once young genin grew and he grew fast.

The Hyuuga and adopted Senju both observed the behavior of the captive/prisoner. Takara found his panic to reflect the incident from Suna, but from the report he was subdue without his own knowing. Did that mean that Iscarot managed to beat him moments before his acknowledgment of the Sunagakure raid, or was it just as he was made aware? It was difficult to say. Souji, folding his arms, placing one hand on his chin as to ponder the reaction. He expected no less from him. Anything else would have been traitorous.

“It is a bit too late for that, I’m afraid, Raijin. The Kazekage has long since been slain. By Lord Aokidanza’s officers. And to answer you second question you are in Konohagakure…more specifically in a holding cell.”

Sure that his words would strike a cord within the prisoner, he would give him time to resonate with the information. Takara would then step forward, fully aware that he was on edge. But she bared him no harm, none whatsoever.

“Raijin, is that correct? My name is Takara Senju, daughter of Aokidanza Senju. I am one of the junior lead medics, trained directly under Aokidanza himself. I am here to inspect your wounds, if you have any. I know that Master Iscarot can be a bit heavy handed, and it is my job to make sure that all that is under the protection of Konoha is well tended to. No matter is f you are here on your own will, or the opposite. Is it alright that I check your vitals?”

She asked, not wanting to take another step without his consent to do so. Souji, gazing at Raijin, his stance, though it was seemingly lax, it was still highly up. Should Raijin attempt to harm her, or him, Souji was ordered to obliterate his very skull. And as a Root member, he would do just that.

Listening to Souji's voice he would slightly focus in more until he heard the words he didn't want to. His head would hang as strands of his white hair flowed unto his face, his voice would crack as he sounded defeated and a bit depressed. "I see, I have failed then. I guess I wasn't really ready." He said before wiping the hair from his face as he sat up fully to look at the two ninja before him. "Gurens gonna kill me." He'd softly chuckle as he sighed and leaned back as he moved his hair once more. When the senju woman spoke he would squint his eyes at her before looking back towards Souji, examining him closely. Raijin has always been good with a blade and learned to watch people's body's and expressions. He can see that Souji was relaxed but you can never be to sure especially when you're in a holding cell.

Raijin would focus back on the senju woman that said she was the daughter of the man who is responsible for bringing him there or at least he believes is the one who made the order. As his thoughts were starting to regain themselves he would gently nod. "I'm too weak to really fight back, besides I could go for a check up." He told her as he straightened himself on the edge of the seat he was in. "Since I'm here.... Why am I here? I figured if anything I'd be either put down in the village or restrained there. Not brought all the way to konohakagure." He asked as he waited for Takara to begin her healing and inspection. "So do I need to do anything for the inspection or am I just going to sit here?" He asked as he shifted his focus between the two he tried to show respect towards them both. With Souji being someone he knows and respects then to Takara who is at least taking the chance to heal him.
