The Essentials of Healthcare Empty The Essentials of Healthcare

Mission
Spoiler:

Kinko found himself in a position where he needed to be able to communicate better with the people who lived around him. Kinko had a skill that was much needed in this area, a skill that most people could not develop. This particular skill was not entirely rare or incredulous but it was in high demand in such a rural area. Large villages had experts that far surpassed Kinko's abilities but he knew he was likely the most skilled in any immediate area. While Kinko was able to keep an eye on the village at a distance, he was not able to keep a close eye for emergencies. He knew the village needed help with their healthcare, some issues were small but some issues were quite drastic and severe. Kinko had himself in need of a flare, in need of a symbol, a sign, an outlet to know what was happening...a prayer.

Kinko had trekked the forest looking for the perfect spot and location; however, it appeared that this notion had preceded him. The story could not be told but the ruins stood to speak for themselves. A dilapidated and shoddy shack found itself to be the base of his project. Of course, the man would need to verify the condition of the bones and confirm their appropriateness to achieve each and every objective and task. Kinko could not have asked for a better start to begin this project. However, this was no shrine and no one would mistake it as such. Kinko would need to implement labor into this property, to make it his own, to obtain the value and present the options.

The task was not arduous, just simply taxing. Kinko was properly supplied for this mission yet, he was doing everything in secret. He did not want others to know. The man had found himself to be increasingly private. Not entirely libertarian in his livelihood but appreciated his capacities to be free of choice and perception. The man would have plenty of opportunity to conform, form, and manipulate his opinions as he hammered nail through wood, metal through metal, and sweat from his body dripped. Kinko worked tirelessly to  ensure the construction and renovation of the shrine. Kinko took to obtain new wood, only selecting some of the most pristine and luxurious woods rich in strength and deep in color, a matching fit for the shrine. Kinko further, had to ensure the furnishings, security, and other quarters regarding the shrine. It seemed like night after night, Kinko was sneaking out of his room to work on this project. Some nights, he made little progress. Kinko eventually found himself in a position where he almost built his own shrine.

The shrine was made from wood from the trees with supplies bought from the local market. These supplies were nails, tools, and even specific woodworking, like door frames, furniture, and doors. Kinko had a plan for everything, everything was planned with a purpose. From the security locks on the doors, to the ventilation, to the privacy screens for private meditation and prayer. Sure, Kinko found himself installing doors, furniture, and locks. This rotting shack soon found itself as an entirely rehabilitated hospital for the locale. Kinko truly could not have been more proud and happy for the success and pace of that success that he has had.

Of course, still not complete! Kinko needed to seal this wood and he used paint brushes to apply waxes, varnish, and surfacant coats to ensure the stability, sustainability, and longevity of each part of the building. Kinko would tirelessly run his arm with a brush up and down each and every part of wood inside and outside of that shrine. His shoulder, knees, fingers, and hands were sore in ways he had never felt. The young Kyuketsuki perhaps found of himself as a contractor, perhaps if this day job stuff does not work out, he could go build shrines...or hospitals for those in need.

The man was still not done ! It looked more like someone was planning to move in, not like a full and complete shrine. Kinko painted symbols on the walls, doors, and ceilings of the Kyuksetuki. This was clearly property of the Kyuketsuki and served as a warning for those who may destroy, abuse, or challenge the shrine, its powers, or its possessors. Kinko needed to ensure that his work was being done for good and that all recognized who and what this work was for. It was from the vampires in the woods but only if you knew.

Kinko needed to inspect the shrine to ensure the safety, security, and proper functioning of the property. He would test every single nail, hinge, and plank, ensuring smoothness, strength, and stability. Further, Kinko installed options for an incense to constantly be burned without lighting anything on fire. Kinko installed ways for natural wind to cool the members and of course, the option of the moon light roof was introduced as Kinko created a loft style area where one can truly find their peace. The loft was an intimate spot, one where Kinko would only share with those who he felt deserved to know. He immediately though of Kana. He wondered how long he would wait until he introduced them to this shrine, perhaps he would introduce it as a hospital. Kinko did not want others to question his ego anymore than they already do. He did not want to deal with it. All he wanted to do was to help those who needed it. Kinko realized that this shrine was just about complete, all it needed was a few people to inhabit it, keep it safe and clean, and help gusts as they arrive. Kinko would look around and notice the owls that continued to make their appearances throughout the construction of the shrine. He wondered if perhaps they, could be of help. With that, Kinko went up to the private hidden loft, where he laid his head and rested in the shrine he built...finding himself in a place of peace.
