Fenn had decided to take a walk in the charred forest , it was getting close to being yet another year away from his loved ones long since gone from his sight. Something inside of Fenn pulled him to the forest, yet there seemed to be nothing but nostalgia for him at this location. For one good example, it was these very woods that he and Akihana had to hunt down Yaju, albeit they did not know it was him at the time, they only knew a giant wolf was needed. While getting to become a Chuunin, Fenn had also been appointed as one of Yaju's ANBU back than. Speaking of Yaju for Fenn, it also meant the time in these very woods, in the tower of the mad wizard Psychosis, watching the two ninja of caliber much higher than Fenn's even at Fenn's Peak, spar as if their life was on the line, and yet be best friends.

Fenn's mind wondered to the what ifs of life. Would Yaju be the kage still if he could have defended the village, Would he have been the kage by this point. It seemed that a fair number of Kage has had the seat since Yaju, almost a kage per year. Fenn's mind reeled at the thought of it all. It was than, he caught the faint hint of a scent that he had not smelt in years. It was a Scent that made Fenn's heart drop....Akihana's Cooking.... Fenn eventually took the smell since it had died away a simple play of his mind, a longing for what he once had. After all, it was getting dark, and it was rumored that these woods had became haunted with many ghostly visages, many of which was those lost to the plight of Youka Tau. Fenn felt the pang in his heart but would decide to walk back home. With the tearing at his heart growing ever more. As Fenn walked the streets of Kumogakure, heading back to his home for the night. He walked past the old hut that he once lived in. Looking upon it longingly, He thought he could hear a faint sound. His name being called, by a sweet voice, as sweet as the cooking he could smell earlier. But there was no way. The man would look crazy as he looked around quickly for the only woman who would have recognized him at this point in his life. Yet she was no where to be seen.

Fenn would let out a sigh and shake his head, Of course it could not be her. After all was there not a whole celebration of life held for her in both Hoshi and Kumo each year for several years now? The woman who tamed the decaying monstrosity , for Kumo. The Mother of all in Hoshi. Akihana had made her mark in history, that was for certain, and yet....Fenn was ever more jealous of her now than ever. He would never hit that level of magnitude. But yet over his jealous tinge, he tinge of longing.
