Name: Chakra Bonding Katana
Appearance: The blade itself resembles that of an ordinary steel katana. It possesses a foot long hilt, a meter long, and half inch wide blade. However, when the weapon's owner "bonds" with the blade, it will adopt a pattern along the blade entirely unique to the user.

Unbonded Appearance:

Backstory: Before the great eruption, there existed a very skilled, and very old sword crafter. This sword crafter had spend his life forging blades for various shinobi, and had gotten quite good at it. However, as he grew older in age he felt dissatisfied with his life. He felt as though the end times were coming, and wished to create a blade that would last through the ages as his final Magnus Opus. Near the end of his life he achieved it, creating a weapon that would turn even the greenest of swordsmen into a prodigy with the blade. The blade served not as a tool to be wielded, but a perfect extension of the self. Sadly however, the sword crafter's predictions came true, and the blade was lost in the eruption. However, recently a portion of his notes have been uncovered, and a weaker, more accessible version of his masterpiece has been created and mass produced. While not as powerful as the original, the blade still gives the ninja who wields it an advantage over their opponent.

Symbiotic Bonding- This weapon requires the user to bond with it before it can be used to its fullest potential. The user must spend a period of time (500 Words) channeling their chakra into their weapon. Until this is done, the blade functions like a standard katana. After this however, the weapon can be used to its fullest potential, and will be "bonded" to the user. This bond can be undone if the user breaks the blade, someone else "bonds" to the weapon, or the user spends time purging their chakra from the blade (500 Words).

Once this process is performed the blade becomes "hostile" against all chakra that is not its owner's, preventing anyone else from using the katana while the user is still bonded to it. In the hands of anyone who is not the user, this blade cannot inflict base damage beyond 1 upon an opponent, and cannot be used for weaponry techniques.

Additionally, the weapon's hilt is hollow. The one who is bonded to the weapon may unscrew a hidden compartment at the bottom of the foot long hilt, where small materials may be stored and retrieved for later use. Attempts to open this compartment by someone who does not have the user's explicit permission shall fail. In the event that the weapon is broken or destroyed however, this compartment may be opened freely.

Lastly, this katana will come with a sheath that possesses 100 health. The sheath does not possess any special traits or properties, and serves only to house and hold the user's weapon.
