As the section of the roof started to descend Ryu saw the challenge, it was not in standing on the plinths but defeating the golems. Ryu brought his hands up so they were level with his shoulders, his fists tightly clenched. Chakra started to build in his core and he pushed it through his network until it reached his brain, more specifically his left hemisphere. Ryu closed his eyes and imagined a swinging barn door, the door started to move, once it was open his eyes did the same "Gate of Opening" He shouted as the first of the eight inner gates formation opened, his speed and power increasing dramatically. Bringing his left leg backwards and bending his right legs slightly he took a pose as if he was already in motion. Ryu pushed forward, leaping upwards, the water where he once stood rippled outwards in a hurried manner, but the water itself was not disturbed. Ryu closed the distance between himself and the golem in two bounds, as he landed in front of the golem he bent his knees, his motion coiling and strength coalesce into his jump. Pushing upwards he brought his hand up, forming a fist he impacted the golem below its chin and sent it flying into the air. Ryu then began to form handseals, Monkey → Dragon → Rat → Bird → Ox → Snake. Lightning energy formed in Ryus hand as he held it at arm's length above his head, lightning energy started to arc outwards, barley missing the water he stood on. Once again he jumped upwards, meeting the golem as it neared the ceiling of the cave. "Chidori" He thrust his palm forward and smashed it through the centre of the golem, a small section of blue crystal burst as Ryu's open palm impacted it. The golem began to fall to pieces as it fell to the floor, Ryu deactivated the Chidori as he fell back towards the water, his surface walking jutsu still active. As he landed he heard Kita call out to him, he turned to catch a crystal, then suddenly he was in his bathroom again, his toothbrush back in his mouth, feeling like he had learned something new.
