Metal Gear Kittvengence

Catching a cat was another seemingly mundane task and like the other two before it, Miko did not mind being compelled to complete it. After all it was a companion for someone, and no doubt was making their day worse with their absence and possible endangerment. So it was that the girl dressed hurriedly and rushed out of the house in search of the domicile the mission's slip had implored her to locate. Dressed in regular ninja garb she would leave her headband behind like always, ashamed to wear the thing until she was strong enough that she felt she could deserve it. The navy blue garb would blend in well with the night but during the day as it was now it simply matched her hair well enough for her to throw it on in haste. 

Once she arrived at the location, Mikofujo soon realized that her urgency was not necessarily required and in fact the cat was simply lost somewhere on the sprawling estate the lady owned. Still it had not been around for two days so the kunochi was glad to go about trying to locate the feline who had probably found some odd place to nest in for a while. Thinking it over in her mind, the girl thought that the cat may try an attic or a place far away from regular day to day foot traffic. Bearing with that, she set out into the building in hopes of finding the cat quickly so she could go back to other things. 

The estate was a total of four floors and so she ascended an ornate, mahogany staircase all the way to the top in hopes that she would find some remote space adorned with the sunlight from a window and thus perfect for hiding from the rather rotund lady and her disinterested maid.  The genin was assuming that the duo had not looked where the lady of the house had not been able to and thus used her small body and agility to snake around the horded mess of the top floor which was filled with extra belongings as she had guessed. While the rest of the house was in great condition, the fourth level functioned as a storage center for all the unsightly things one could guess would result from a general lack of care. The lack of dusting in particular ended up proving a wonderful thing indeed, as no sooner than she had scaled through ten feet of the maze it became clear that paw prints were in a relative clear space ahead of her. 

From there it was relatively simply and easy to locate the cat who had made it her job to hunt down the mice that had manifested in the house. Far from in danger the feline was relaxing in comfort and had a fat belly from her hunt in the attic, but the lady would not rest until she had the cat and so it would be the Mikofujo would scoop the kitty and bring her back to the main floor. Upon giving the cat back, the kunochi received her payment soaked with tears, a hug and an oddly scornful look from the maid. It was another successful mission however and another satisfying day.
