Guren smiled at Zaine's familiarity of the clan names presented before him. He was also certain that Zaine was intelligent but clearly he was well versed in his clan lineage and DNA so there was no need for formalities. This made the process all the more simple, as now Guren did not need to walk Zaine through the explanation of the prowess of each clan. Zaine was already privy to this information, and subsequently he was already interested in one set of DNA over the other: the Jugo. And it was a wise decision. Guren even contemplated implanting himself with it at times, however their barbaric nature was too much of a turnoff for him. Guren reflected on the one missing ninja he temporary allied with to rob a caravan. He was so unsophisticated, simple and weak minded. Didn't even make an attempt to concur the beast within him. However Guren and Zaine were different. And for that reason, Guren was confident that his teammate would follow see the Jugo DNA potential through. 

"Not a problem at all my friend. I do wish to warn you though...mastering the Jugo DNA is not for the feint of heart. Although I admittedly do not know all of the details of the clan, I can ensure you that they are filled with boiling rage and bloodlust. I have only seen few who have managed to concur those desires....and those same few I have seen have been the most powerful wielders of the Jugo DNA. I imagine you will be one of them so long as you are still interested."

Pending Zaine's response, Guren would respond accordingly. Assume Zaine was still willing, Guren would begin instructing Zaine for the procedure. "Perfect. Then let's get started, it really shouldn't take much time. First I'll need you to lay on the table over here and remove your shirt." (pause)

While Zaine would do that, Guren would place the jar marked Terumi and place it back within the cooler. He would exit the room and head to the kitchen. Here he washed and dried his hands in preparation of the surgery. Following this, he returned to the room with a single tray in hand. He would lay it on top of the side table near the table that Zaine waited on. Guren also grabbed the jar, opened it, and carefully removed a Jugo kidney from inside of it. He placed it on the sterile tray, then returned the closed jar back into the cooler. 

"I'll begin quite simply by performing some jutsu necessary for the procedure" he announced. Guren wanted Zaine to be aware of what was going to happen, just to ensure that he was comfortable. Guren would execute two sets of handseals; the first causing his left hand's fingertips to be coated with blue flames, and the second causing his right hand to be engulfed by an aura of chakra. He firmly placed his left hand's fingertips onto the chest of Zaine, allowing them to sink one inch deep. When this was done, Guren's chakra would numb the body of Zaine and as a result he would feel no pain from the quick surgery. Following this, Guren brought his hand hand to the external location of Zaine's kidney and made a precise "incision", allowing his hand to enter just above Zaine's right hip. Guren would then carefully sever and extract a single kidney from Zaine. When this was done, he placed Zaine's kidney next to the Jugo kidney. He lightly grabbed this one, formed several more hand signs with his free left hand, and his right hand began to swap between a blue and green aura while it operated inside of Zaine. During this process, Guren's chakra would begin to stimulate the regrowth of cells and reconnect Zaine's kidney with his uretur tube. This would all happen instantaneously and without fail, as Guren's potent and precise chakra control would ensure a successful operation. With the new kidney successfully implanted, Guren would cautiously remove his right hand from Zaine's body and place it at the external spot of the incision. With his chakra restoring cellular growth here, the incision would rapidly stich itself shut. And with that, the operation was complete. 

Guren went over to a cabinet and retried a jar. With that jar opened, he placed Zaine's former kidney in it, marked it with a label, and sealed it shut. He then placed it in the cooler that the other two jars sat within. Now completely finished, Guren turned  and looked at Zaine quite pleased and impressed by his own work. While cleaning and sanitizing the equipment he used for the operation, he began to follow up his comrade. 

"Well, there you are. Good as new. Your body seemed to accept the surgery without any complications. Now just a forewarning, you will need to train your body to accept that new kidney before you can officially awaken the benefits of this bloodline transplant. Until then, that will just function as an ordinary kidney without granting you any specific blessings...." pausing, Guren realized he had just finished operating on Zaine and hadn't even given him a real chance to digest what all was happening. Resultantly, he laughed slightly and looked at Zaine. "So how do you feel?"

The look on Guren's face was quite telling as he thought over what had just been said by the young Uchiha- it was clear that his understanding of the DNA samples in his possession was not lacking and this thought was confirmed by the next statement of his team captain. He warned of the dangers regarding the Jugo clan and that it wasnt a challenge for the weak to take on- this information was not news to Zaine as he had met many of Jugo descent in his life but there was something to be said about the tone delivered by his Chinoike counterpart. The Jugo are known for their ferocity and savage demeanor along with their outrageous pools of chakra- this deadly combination would be to blame for their naturally tenacious spirits and inability to control their natural abilities without rigorous training and discipline. Guren would receive the confirmation from Zaine to go ahead with the procedure but not before the young Uchiha thanked him for his confidence in his abilities to master the bloodline- the opinion of his new captain was not only welcome but managed to fill him with a sense of confidence, because to be entirely he was not completely sure if he could conquer this challenge.

Laying down on the table as instructed a bead of sweat would drop down the right side of his face fresh from his brow with anticipation of what was to come- he was confident in the medical abilities of his comrade but there still something so unsettling about being altered in this way. His thoughts raced in the small amount of time that separated Guren's handwashing from the numbing of Zaine's body- the voice of his father preaching about the proud fiery heritage of his birth clan filled his mind and made him consider once more whether or not this was the right decision. These thoughts would be quieted by the rationale that in order to protect those he loves, sacrifices on his part must be made- and with that the surgery would begin and finish almost as quickly as it started. 

He would sit up once he could see his wounds were visibly healed and pat the spot on his torso that was cut with his right hand- nothing seemed to be different at all but what Guren said next explained this fully. "I feel about the same but as you said thats to be expected. I will say im feeling a bit anxious with anticipation of what i'll be able to accomplish moving forward with these new abilities." He would come to a standing position as he extended his left hand out to his captain and smiled "Once again Guren youve managed to increase my scope as a shinobi significantly, so thank you. I know itll take a lot of effort and hard work but I believe that ill be able to gain control of whatever this bloodline has in store for me." He would look from left to right around the room once over before speaking once more "This room along with your abilities are proof that you've put in tireless work to master the craft, Sunagakure is lucky to have a shinobi of your caliber. Maybe some time soon we can spar in a bit more serious manner." He would say as he laughed a bit.
