The force in us (yen, love)

Yen sat crosslegged invthe training area as the early spring watmth filled the training ground. The late bits of snow were melting off the trees and wildlife were comming up and around. So here yen sat quietly observing the world that was in tune. 

Despute violence the world continued on. The shinobi world of conflict, war and the likes continued. Which in itself was a wonder. Yen spotted a rabbit sheepishly crossing the training ground and nuzzle another rabbit. It was a surely interesting moment. Despite being hunted for food. He knew that other animals would just go on. Which was an interesting concept. Perhaps there was something that drove life onward. It was unusual, but facinating as he took a moment to think on what it could possibly be.

His cloak now was hanging on a tree nearby as his headband was on his upper right shoulder and well wore his eyepatch ovrr his missing left eye. He wore his jouninn jacket as usual with an black undershirt under it. While today he wore dark brown pants and his bare arms crawled with insects for a moment, before dissappearing. 

But now his focus went inwardly to his insects as he was curious to their development. He sensed many deaths, but just as many new lives being formed. The countless eggs as they bonded with his conciousness and the transgressioning of pupile to grown insects. Ready and welling.

All is that it should be


Yen thought content as he now waited for a few minutes before he began training.

A stroll through the village lead Love to the training grounds after sensing a familiar chakra signature. A cloak on a branch and a Yen on the ground. Was he meditating? It sure didn't look like any training Love was familiar with. While mental conditioning was a form of strengthening there were prettier places in the village this could be done. Maybe he needed the equipment here? Or better yet the people, he was a genjutsu user after all. If it was the latter the Aburame would sense her and start a conversation but if he remained silent as Love got closer she'd know that he wanted to be alone. Despite the size of Konoha, it wouldn't be hard for either of them to find each other.

Though she witnessed something monumental during her travel there was no compulsion to tell him about, especially since she'd already talked about it with someone else. Needless to say, waiting to speak with him wouldn't be a problem. After all this time he should've cooled off and if not she wasn't gonna rob him of the last chance to do so.

With the sense of an new approacher yen smiled a bit as it was a bit familiar. Still he never focused freely on induviduals in question. His voice quiet but pleasent spoke up. As he enjoyed newcinduviduals?arriving into the training sessions as of late.


"Come on over."


Yen stated as he caually weaved a few handseals with amusement. It was a new toy of his he decided to take a further glimpse into as he wove the handseals he simply commanded his kilikikaichu to come to attention. (Rabbit, hare, ram,ox) thus 60 of the insects crawled out of his hair and stood at the ready as they informed him that it was indeed love  with 20 insects telepathically informing him that it was her. Still the insects within the kilshiku within the aburame too benifitted from this jutsu.

(Insects speed and strength  +50. Making their speed: 70 (outside kilshiku reaction time 130,) and strength:60. Flight speed is 65)

"how have you been doing love? Did you fimd orokana?"


Yen stated as the kilikikaichu inside of him lifted him 4 meters off the ground, and turned the aburame who still remained cross legged faced love with a kind smile.

"Well looks like my training paid off a bit."

Yen stated with a small amsued chuckle. He knew that alongvwith such a technique it opened new doors. Now his goal was to study such effects?and find new ways to impliment them in othernways as well. The path of a reasearcer. A man of studyimg the jutsu arts.

"It's been a while." The red head said as she bridged the gap after hearing a verbal ok from Yen. She still didn't know what he was doing but she could see his insects lining up and there seemed to be some creeping around in his hair as it moved without a breeze. Following that he'd ask her two questions. "Eh." Would be her response to the first and, "I did, he's dead now." Would be the answer to the second. The words glid like water off a duck's back yet missing the drip of leftover emotions. The Hyuuga stood with a hand on her hip as the small man was lifted from the ground. "Funny, I did similar training." She said after the male had turned to face her. Not to pop his balloon but she showed off her "flying" ability by taking a simple step, the exhale from her last spoken word already created a near unseeable glow around the Hyuuga. Her foot would hang in that air before she pushed up on seemingly nothing, only going up 3 meters they were roughly at eye level. "So have I missed anything relevant?" She'd ask.

He was glad to hear she was doing well it brpught a smile to his face. Yet the bad news was she found oro, but he was dead. Yens face immediatly fell as he felt what rage he had at the deserter quell into an abyss of sadness. He merely sat mid air hovering as he slowly came to terms with thecreality for a few moments as the two hovered mid air.

"I just wanted him safe at home you know. But he lived and died a shinobi. It is the most i can say now."

Yen stated as there was a drop of sadness in his voice. But as sudden as it was he let it go. Orokana made his decisions. He tested yens words, but never heeded them. Thus he payed the price. Still yen smiled at the girl as he hovered close to the love and nodded.


"So you have been improving yes? Wonderful i am certain that this will be a good show of the future of konoha. Me, and the kage have been working close together as of late. With that it is imperative that konoha develops. That is to us all. You recived that application in the mail recently i assure you. And your response to it was quiet admireable."

Yen stated as he floated another 5 meters above love and gestered her to follow him. As he spoke up 

"Your task will be unique for the possibility of the promotion that alluded you for these few years. But it is an task that i will admit plays a part in everything love"

Love nodded at Yen's words when he spoke up. "He was still writing in his book but I think he enjoyed being in a village that hates shinobi. He wasn't 'normal' but he seemed a little better." It was sad that they lost another comrade but, "It's better that a disease claimed his life, they had no intention of letting him go and it saved them the task of killing him once he inevitably fled." Love shrugged, Yen had no anger and his sadness was soon gone as well. The man probably wanted to mourn alone if at all though he could also just be tired of it. "Not as much as I'd like but still a decent bit." She replied as he went on to tell what he'd been up to. Love nodded again and grabbed the back of her neck when he complimented her submission. She was just trying not to sound pompous, she was glad that someone enjoyed it.

Love shook her head as Yen gestured for her to go up higher with him. Dangling her hand in the air the same way she had with her foot Love would push down on "nothing". The ring around her neck was coming in handy she'd never tried using the jutsu this way yet she had a feeling this would be a lot harder without it. Once her arm did all it could she'd push off with her foot while swinging her legs to end up sitting on the newly formed platform. It was painfully obvious that his jutsu was better than hers but it was the best she could do at the time. Given the answer she'd written on the application, Love understood how a promotion would be better for the village but the way Yen spoke it was as if there was some greater meaning. "How so?" She asked him hoping that she wasn't reading too much into this.

A village that hates shinobi. The aspect of that was a bother in itself. The assasinations unappreciated by lords and tyrants taken out. Some parts of the world bewildered the aburame.

Tragic to die of sickness


Yen thought as the girl followed suit and he smiled. It was impressive. As she followed him and he sat midair and noted love's appreciation. Her question was obvious but she wanted to see more.

"In a sense we must always ready the future. There is no garentee in life, nor our homes. We learned this with kiri. But we cannot gaze at the past. In that case you being a future leader will lead a team, both defending your teamates, and instructing them on the best course of action through judgement and skill. In that case. Me kinzoku and another jouninn are your own targets in this.your task will be be to personally take the object from one of us. But you must maintain it."

Yen stated as he smiled it was obvious and he chuckled.

"However should one of us be on your team. You must defend thebone from others as well. It will not be easy because we all will be pushing everyone and each other, and just might get close to full power without killing"

A lift of her brow and bottom lip Love made a face that said "mmkay" as she digested Yen's words. What he said next caused the look to become a grimace. "Cool, no pressure." She commented as the male chuckled. As he went on the nerves were joined by excitement, being able to go all out with some of the village's best was one hell of an opportunity. She couldn't imagine there'd be enough time to create a new jutsu so learning something pre-established and figuring out how to integrate it with her current repertoire would be best. A shame but it did give her the chance to learn to like Protection of the 64 Palms, it being a support tech helped in this event. She couldn't teleport but maybe if she flickered out before it closed she could continue fighting, it didn't last long so it'd be the perfect cover for someone to apply some quick healing. She'd ask Yen once he was done testing his jutsu for the time since she invaded.

Her face had a mixture of both excitment, and perhaps a little confusion. The butterflies were getting to the girl. Yet the aburame softly smiled and floated over to love and placed two finger tips on the side of her cheek softly.

"Hey look at me love."

Yen spoke softly as he floated there and smiled at the girl. He knew it was sudden, and the news was the only first part of the battle. She just returned, and was weary of her ordeal. A close freind tragically died in an unknown land, and she was the one to carry them. Yen could understand that it was the conjumbled mess of thoughts and fears. Yet they both were airborn and yen was a warm hearted man.

"I know it is alot to ask for. So you can always vent to me love. You can do this, and as head of the shinobi force and second to the hokage. I have faith in you. So i know you are weary from the ordeal. So you do not need to carry many burdens on your shoulders love. How about after we train together. I cook you up one of my dishes my treat."


Yen stated  softly and studied the girl's face quietly for a moment. He was a man of many layers. Thus there came many forms to himself, but love was one of the few he was capeable of showing the very kind generous side of himself. After all she knew  him for a long while, and as such learned more about him then almost anyone.


"Would you like a hug love?"


He asked as should she have allowed it he would've kept his finger tips on the side of her dmface softly. Tas if she was willing.

Even though she was looking at him he must have seen that she had been distracted. Refocusing she watched as he floated closer and placed his fingers on her cheek, a bit weird since the closest they'd ever been was when she held his hand while he pretended to be a kid. Was he trying something knowing that she was willing the last time he wanted to explore the capabilities of his jutsu? She couldn't feel any transfer of chakra nor did she fell stronger or weaker. Getting over the initial shock she noticed his smile as he continued speaking. From what he said it appeared that he dropped a heavier load on her than she thought she'd dropped on him. It was nice to have people that cared this much, she smiled almost laughing at how he so casually told her he was the deputy kage. She finally did let go when he asked if she wanted a hug, placing a hand on his shoulder she pulled him in. "Thanks."

He was such a dad without even trying but that made him a good guy. Their hug was brief and when it ended Love punched one fist into the opposite palm. "So where do we start?" She asked in reference to the training he offered.
