Full day of training ahead (Open)

It was a beautiful day in the Lightning country. Apposed the the normal stormy weather, the cloud only partly covered the sky and the sun brightly shone through those said clouds. It warmed the Earth down below the clouds however it was still pretty cold and most people still had more than one layer on when outside on the beautiful day.

The Konochi of Kumo, Hato, wasn't going out to enjoy the air with a smooth relaxing walk like she really wanted to. Instead, she had a full day of training ahead of her. Hato has always had the saying that "knowledge is power." I still remains true, however, she needed to improve her techniques as a medical ninja. 

Hato slipped on a full body jump suit that had a front zipper, which she zipped at half mast to show of some healthy amount of cleavage. She then slipped on her boots that went higher than her shins, which she placed her weapon pouches and whip for easy access. 

Upon exiting for the training field, Hato would notice that the training field was actually really busy with many shinobi practicing their skill against wooden logs that had been placed there for that purpose. The blonde konochi was kinda hoping that she would get the field to herself like she normally didn't. However, this wasn't enough to stop her from doing what she scheduled for the day. 

A couple of the shinobi stared at her as Hato entered the field. She was wearing the jump suit while most people were wearing traditional wear. They didn't stare long and went back to their training. The blonde vampire placed her stuff beside the wooden pole that was left open. She cracked her knuckles and neck loudly as the wind blew through the field. It became silent as she got into a fighting form. She delivered some powerful kicks first, making loud and sudden CRACK come from wooden pole. Then would preform a couple punches at the pole, giving the same SMACK and CRACK, speeding up after every hit. After only a couple more hits, Hato would finish up the combo by dispensing chop and broke the pole in half. Some of the shinobi were impressed with this feat due to their inability do something like that. Others might have thought she was just showing off.

Yin had the first day since settling here where he had nothing required to do. No academy training, because that was done with. No missions, nor anyone the he made plans with. How terrible days like this, where he could be doomed to lay in bed all day. But hey, at least the weather for once was fine. Although, Yin didn't mind the rugged weather these lands possessed. It was just nice to have a break from it, finally. 

The intention Yin had was not to be lazy today, or ever. Instead, just at the break of dawn, he made himself a decent breakfast. Some simple egg dish with a side of meats and a glass of milk. He figured afterwards to may as well catch up on some practice. Of course, upon arriving at the training fields, it was busy. Must be other Shinobi whom also didn't have anything scheduled today...unless of course, it was their training. Those who put in daily training were the most committed!

He took up any empty post, and begun with some basic stuff. Simple combat techniques that we're taught early on, a straight punch here, a jab there, maybe even some spear hands, palm strike, or chops to liven up the mix. 

By the time Yin got himself all warmed up and ready for more advance techniques, some random blonde chick pranced along to a post someone had just recently left. Yep, the training fields sure we're busy today. As soon as one person left, another came along to take it up again. Which was probably a good thing, for a shinobi nation bigger than his original home's. Back in his village, sometimes you'd find people training and sometimes you wouldn't. Ninja there were more relax, while here they were much more intense. Well, that shouldn't be surprising being that this is Kumogakure - one of the greater shinobi nations. Such a remote and unkown village such as Yin's home didn't need to have such a level of intensity...although it would be cool if it did. Perhaps someday they too would become one of the greater nations.

And just as Yin filled his head with the differences of his birth village and Kumogakure, the blonde chick managed to break her training pole. Way to go, surely a nation like this who had ninja that trains like that would be able to replace that easily in no time. To Yin's elegace, he offered to let her use his post. "Well now, guess you'll have to take my pole now that you did yours in," he smoothly spoke, gesturing to his post.

The destruction of pole caught people's attention, causing the young woman to flusher and look like she had done something completely innocent. However, it was done on purpose to show some kind of authority and respect through out the people preforming. These shinobi would recognize her as the one that broke that wooden pole in half. 

Suddenly, a boy's voice could be heard from behind her to the right. Hato turned to address. It was a boy. A very vertically advantaged boy that towered most of the people his age in the training field. He had snow white hair, similar to the medical ninja's that she met in Kono back in the chunin exams and Zyxis, the Uchiha boy that lived in the village. Maybe this boy has the same eye's as Zy, Hato thought to herself. She didn't know at the time that Yin was actually without a clan. The only defeating difference was his blue eyes that brightly shown on his face while Zyxis had pure white eyes. It wasn't uncommon for siblings to have different eye colors, but the difference was too great. 

Added to the mystery was his tattoos. They resembled the stripes of a tiger. Normally tattoos or symbols are used for clans, but the young woman didn't recognize what it could be from. It simply could be aesthetic.

Yin offered his pole for Hato to train on as a kind gesture. Hato couldn't help but chuckle. "I probably shouldn't wreck another training pole." She bends over to grab some snacks and a bottle of water out of bag she brought with here to the training field. She takes a bite out of her rice cake and too a drink from the bottle, watching Yin for a second. "My name is Hato Sano." She introduced politely. the young woman takes another bite of the cake.

The lady politely declined the offer, maybe with a tinge of bragging. Oh well, Yin thought, she had the right to. Once she settled herself on the ground to have her snack, Yin went back to practicing. He did some routine his father once did, something he kept with him where ever he went. "Ah, I'm Yin," he told her after she introduced herself. By now, the majority of the other people had went back to minding their own business now that the commotion was over. "You come here a lot? I'm new," he half interested said. His speech was more so just for the sake of conversation, and didn't expect for anything deeper than that. 

Yin also took note that a few new people walked in. He glanced around, smirking at how they missed out on the blonde girl breaking the pole. At least they might have taken notice to the fallen wood. For some reason, a certain somber looking shibobi took to his attention for no reason in particular. Maybe it was just that their hair was somewhat similar to the girl's. And just as anyone who came to these grounds did, they did some training as well.

The newcomers to the field arrive while some others that were there before started to pack up their stuff and head else where. Hato was finishing up her rice cake and started glancing around a bit to witness the newcomers. She returned her gaze to Yin as their conversation continued. 

Yin introduced himself after her had so. He also starting asking simple questions to keep conversation alive. "Oh, I come here a lot." Hato explained with a slight chuckle, "I practically live here if I'm not at the bar or on some missions." He also explained that he was new. It explained why she hadn't seen him before around the village. 

Unfortunately he chose to introduce himself with out his clan name. She was hoping that in revealing his family name, it would help her gain some kind of insight. However, she couldn't just ask for his family name, it would look suspicious. If he some how gained her interest, Hato would have to do some alternative digging. If he wasn't, then the blonde wouldn't waste her time on it. 

Suddenly, Hato thought of a genius idea to get some people to show off some skill. She first finishes up her rice cake and then her water, refreshing herself. Then she climbs up Yin's training pole and balances on to of it, hopefully halting his training. "May I have your attention, please!" Hato calls out, using her loud and commanding voice. "I want to enact a training for all of us to participate in. If you can successfully remove this ribbon," Hato holds up a long pink ribbon that she had on her person, "off my belt, then I shall give you 1500 ryo. Sound easy enough?" As she speaks, she puts on the ribbon and ties it tightly. Hato knew that she couldn't take them all on, so it was more so she could witness some people's skill against hers. She was totally prepared to lose her money if it got her to see some amazing talent.

“Thunk, thunk, thunk”  three consecutive jabs would slam into the training post in quick succession, then with a quick pivot he would move into position on the opposite side of the post. He would use the momentum generated from the pivot to perform a roundhouse kick, with a crack it would land into the wood leaving a large gouge of splintered kindling. Sugimoto wanted to train with his katana but he could not risk anyone seeing his runic weapons. So he thought he would take the time to polish his hand to hand combat skills, but the pole could not take to much more of this. Sugimoto would let out a sigh, only if Riyo could see it now, he would be crying at all of his hard work we were destroying.

            Well the with the training post already compromised, he would pull out his two normal kunai and start using the training pole as a target. Trying out quick throws with his Hidden hands technique, Throwing from underhand then flicking one kunai  from his sleeve to have both kunai hit center mass on the training post. He managed to get three sets of throws in before he heard the female shinobi say something that caught his attention, he was impressed with himself because he only missed one of those tosses. “So she is offering one thousand five hundred ryo and all I have to do is take that ribbon.”  He would think to himself, he knew he was not type to initiate anything, so why not kick back and loosen up. Let everyone else get caught up in the spot, he strike when the time's right.

Getting to know someone new in an unfamiliar place was the first step in making it your new home. It didn't matter to Yin at the moment if he ever got to know Hato as anything more than an acquaintance, but to be able to recognize a face in the endless sea of strangers would be refreshing. He wasn't used to living in an area without knowing a single soul, for he knew everyone in his home village. They all were like extended family. The adjustment Yin was needing to take had been plenty more difficult than he originally thought before setting out on this journey his mother set forth. 

The blonde girl unexpectedly leaped up on the pole and began to holler into the crowd for them to take a ribbon from her. While Yin made no strange look at her, he did find it crazy that she'd hand 1,500 ryo for something like this. He stepped aside for anyone to have their a go at it. Maybe she was so confident that no one would manage it she didn't care. Yin figured he'd watch how others would try this before taking his chance, just to get to know how she'd fend them off first.

Something surely had set a fire into the hearts of the Kumo shinobi within the training grounds this day. They were out in droves, damaged training posts abundant across the landscape. I feel bad for the person who gets to replace all of these. The scrawny man in the trench coat kept his sigh to himself for the time being. It had been forever since he had attempted to use a training pole. He wasn’t one for strength and the thick wood hurt him more than he hurt it. Besides, you can’t place an illusion upon dead wood, only yourself to make you believe you had broken it.
 
Walking up to the training pole the man would ready and aim a punch and swing at the pole. The piece of equipment didn’t even budge and now Jiro’s hand hurt. He would shake the pain out of the hand and continue to walk. Yeah, not a taijutsu master that is for certain. The Uchiha would see people in the training grounds practicing many types of jutsu some that he had never seen in the training grounds of Suna, though the people here even though from a different part of the world were vastly the same. Working hard for their land to defend it, though Suna left little on the table as far as “defending” was concerned.

Crossing a group of genin he could feel the presence of some strong chakra within their direction. Even greater than his own, though admittedly even to Jiro himself he was quite weak. Not only was he physically weak, but even his chakra wasn’t strong and even his sharingan had yet to manifest. Eight-year olds could have a complete sharingan this day and age. Whether he was profoundly lucky to have not endured such trauma or extremely unlucky was the real question.

The female who had climbed a pole shouted that if someone could take her ribbon, she would give them one thousand five hundred ryo. More than a couple weeks pay for a genin, even a chuunin for that matter. Jiro determined this girl was one of the sources of the strong chakra as she offered this prize. He wouldn’t participate in this event, even though the girl likely possessed more training than he himself as a chuunin it would look unfair to others and in the world of appearances, appearance is everything. Jiro would walk over to the group his chuunin jacket showing under his coat and introduce himself. “Hello, everyone I don’t wish to participate but wouldn’t mind watching, perhaps I could learn a thing or two. I am Jiro, a chuunin formally from the hidden sand.” Jiro had never introduced himself as a shinobi of Kumo yet, he still did not feel like this was home. It was okay and he was trying to start to see it as home, but it would take time.

If allowed to stay he would watch all the ninja do their best to retrieve this ribbon and win the prize. He had never met any of the people in attendance before. Meeting people was one a step on his path to seeing Kumo as home, making attachments to this place. He left everyone he knew behind in Suna when he left his family that weren’t shinobi. Even his relatives in Konoha he didn’t know what happened to them ever since Kiri had taken over, were they even alive? His mind wandered from the present, but he pulled himself back together quickly to focus on the present. The time his mind wandered barely a fraction of a second.

Hato's call was heard by all in the field. They stared at her and gave her the attention. However, they just seemed to bicker among themselves instead of actually making an attempt to retrieve the ribbon around her belt. Were they scared? Maybe they were timing it just right so that Hato would be caught off her guard? Either way they were making Hato out like a fool. Jiro, a chunin, even acknowledged her but said that he wouldn't be participating. It was insulting. 

The blonde shinobi hopped down from the post and continued, trying to get someone to confront her. "Don't tell me you're scared of a woman?" she says in an attempt to have the majority of the men to question their masculinity. From her experiences in the bar, this tactic works to get the men all riled up. From her bag, she pulls out the 1500 ryo in a money pouch. She jingles it to show that it wasn't just an empty bag. "See, it's not an empty promise either." Hato places the pouch in her weapon bag and she looked around the field at the shinobi. In a last ditch attempt to get some of the people in the training fields courage to fight her she says, "Come on! We are going to need spar off against each other to defend against threats. Don't be afraid to fight me. Kumo is in worst shape than I thought if you can't even engage me in some friendly combat." It wasn't quite her ideology. She could care less about the village as a whole, what interested her was the power of an individual.
