A Taste of Humanity [NK]

Throughout all this at the end was Hoshi. He had fought through the hordes of angry people waiting to kill the beast and won. He managed to beat 50 people without injuring them by simply staying in the doorway and preventing them to proceed, and when they tried to run into another direction he prevented them then too. Yet he never hit any of them. It was funny to him that he didn't try attacking them even after one got a lucky stab. Then another. And another. In the end he had nicks, bruises and cuts all over his body. Yet he managed to buy them an hours worth of time. He was pleased with this outcome and ,knowing the citizens would try to attack him if he slept, Simply let them past now. As he slowly walked home to get some shut eye after getting beaten up. Though as he reached the house a box was outside. Reading "Thank you. For helping the creature." Yeah he thought to himself I helped him out. As he opened the box. Accepting any gift given ,in his derlerious state of exhaustion after returning home, as he went into his house for a good long rest.
