Fighting the Three Tails Jin (P, Sakana) Empty Fighting the Three Tails Jin (P, Sakana)

Mon Jun 05, 2017 4:59 pm
Training Time! A montage of Training!

No really, it was time to train. He needed to get back into the swing of being a shinobi again, of fighting and getting better. The best way to do that? Get back to training hard. Since today was the day that he was going to be training with Sakana, in order to better help him progress with his new found Bijuu, he had arrived at the training grounds early. He wanted to get to work on another technique that he had been intent on learning before war and the office work that it entailed had swallowed him up in its evil vicious jaws.

As such Senshi found himself standing in his favorite training ground, the training ground where he, Komon, Komori, Max, and Reizo had played their capture the flag game. It had been a rather fun training session, that he remembered quite fondly. He walked over to the small lake that inhabited the training grounds wading in until he was standing with his feet just barely covered by the water. He intended to work on some of his water based techniques before Sakana arrived. He had decided to do so since Sakana was a water based fighter normally.

The bijuu that he had been gifted with was also largely water based, as such he knew that working with his water based techniques himself would be a good idea. Since the lake was likely to play a huge role in their little spar that Senshi had planned for the Genin when he arrived. He intended to simply spar with the Genin to get him working with the bijuu chakra that his body now contained. Senshi wanted the Genin, almost Chuunin, to be able to use the bijuu’s chakra to protect not only himself, but also Kumo and its interests. There was no point in him having the beast if he didn’t utilize it after all.

Crossing his arms Senshi decided that it was time to stop thinking about his concerns with Sakana, and defending the village and all of its newly acquired lands and to start focusing on working himself back up to where he needed to be. He needed to be a highly honed sword for Kumogakure, his edge had dulled during the war, what with all the office work he found himself stuck doing. As such, he knew he needed to get it back, to do that he would need to train himself back into the ground. His greatest strength was his versatility, the many techniques that he knew. With that in mind he had choosen to focus on this strength today and to continue learning new techniques.

It wasn’t a particularly difficult technique that he would be focusing on first, a mere C rank. However it would allow him to be stealthy and that fact was incredibly important. The hiding in the water technique would allow him to hide himself. Big surprise there. But it would completely conceal him from sight and chakra senses, which would allow him to set up ambushes for any enemies that his village may encounter. He didn’t think he would be able to spring it effectively on an adept water user like Sakana, but someone else, it was always a chance.

Plus with his clones, being able to use any water techniques he knew, it was important that he expand his skills in that area. Especially since he had not focused on it particularly well, before or even after he had become busy running the villages defences. The hand signs for the technique were, short and sweet. Ox, then dog, and ending on snake, for deception and all. His hands moved through the seals, the dexterity he had built into them and maintained with countless hours of paperwork allowing him to flow through the seals easily.

He spent several minutes merely working his fingers through the three seals, focusing on their meaning before he finally decided to move to the next step. His hands continued to move through the seals while his mind began to focus on what he needed to visualize for the technique. He needed to focus on the fact that he would be wanting to his himself. He wanted to become one with the water, fluid and unmoving but dangerous at its core. He would hide within in it, allowing it to wash over him and become one with him. This mind set was slightly difficult for Senshi because he was so intune with his lightning chakra that allowing himself to change from its ridgity to something so calm and malleable was going to take some time.

He continued to think about water and its properties, down to the molecular level. He needed to envision himself becoming a part of this substance. It would need to feel natural, as though it wasn’t some tool he was using but and actual extension of his very being. He wanted it to absorb his chakra disperse it and hide the danger that he would represent to others within itself. So that when someone saw the water and him they would only see the water as he would be so in tune with it. His eyes slid open finally as he felt that he had come far enough to make his first attempt at the technique.

His hands moved through the seals and he pushed his chakra out focusing on changing it to the water element and channeling only that type of chakra. As his chakra slid through his body the seals shaped it and he felt it beginning to take effect. His body seemed to be slowly sinking, and he could feel as first his toes, then his feet as a whole, and finally his ankles began to change and form with the water. Becoming a very part of its essence. IT felt odd to feel part of his body becoming a portion of the water but the rest of it not. He slowly began to move downwards as the water seemed to be swallowing him whole, taking him into its embrace as a mother would her child.

It was slow going, considering it was his first time attempting the technique he could not be mad about that after all. Finally he sunk down so that he was to where his knees were before his released the technique. He rematerialized, his calves and feet rising from the water much faster than he had expected it to. But then, really it should not have been a surprise. He was after all not truly apart of the water, and so releasing the technique it was no surprise that he rose from it so quickly, returning to his natural state. With this in mind he formed the hand seals again and began to perform the technique for the second time.

This time he allowed himself to move faster as he sunk into the water, it quickly absorbed his feet and calves and then progressed taking up his knees and then his thighs until only his upper half was visible. He continued to channel his chakra focusing on how he wanted to remain hidden as he sunk down, even further until the water started to move up swallowing his abdomen until only his shoulders and head were visible. This was the part that he was partially concerned about, becoming fully one with the water he could only hope that he wouldn’t have to hold his breath while he was using the technique.

That would make it a rather useless technique as it wouldn’t have the duration that he wanted from it, but still he had to attempt it. He wasn’t fully sure that the technique would allow him to breathe by himself, but the books said that it should. He had to simply place his trust into the books. With that he took a deep breath and allowed himself to continue sinking down finally, feeling the water push up and swallow his neck and then his head and the water was covering his nose, but with a tentative breath he realized he had, had nothing to worry about. He could breathe just fine. He let out a relieved sigh as the final bits of his hair were consumed by the water.

His giant frame now completely hidden from view, it would be Sakana arriving that would show him if he had the technique down fully. He looked around the area surprised how his view seemed to be the same as if he were standing there rather than sunken deep into the ground. He released a pulse of chakra feeling nothing within 100m of himself, he settled down to focus on maintaining his hiding status and continued to pulse his chakra searching for Sakana and awaiting his approach. It was nearing nine so he knew that the Genin would be here shortly. It would be very…. Bad for him if he decided to be late when Senshi was taking time out of his training to work with the boy after all.

Fighting the Three Tails Jin (P, Sakana) Empty Re: Fighting the Three Tails Jin (P, Sakana)

Mon Jun 05, 2017 9:43 pm
Twas the day that Sakana was supposed to meet Senshi at the training grounds. He was instructed to do so by the jounin himself when the three tails was being seal inside himself. Scary thing that three tails, in the few days he’s had it, it had only made a few grumbling noises and had stayed otherwise silent throughout their time together. He knew the turtle was probably having a rough time inside Sakana’s arm, he assumed it was not very comfortable in there. The Meijin had attempted to talk to the turtle but nothing was said back in response, Sakana was still unsure if this monster could even understand him.

But that was not the important thing to be worrying about now. No, now he should be worried of the training he was about to undergo. He was a gennin and was going to be one on one trained by a jounin, he knew he needed to keep his skills sharp if he wanted to impress him at all. Dragging himself out of the door in the morning Sakana headed to one of the training fields he didn’t usually go to. He had actually never been there before in person but he knew of the place. He had assumed that this was Senshi’s favorite place to train and that’s why they were meeting there, Sakana would have to invite the man to come train with him at his lake sometime.

Sakana had planned to get to the training ground super early but he had not anticipated how long It would take him to walk to the training ground so he was running a bit off of schedule, he would still be early but not as early as he would have liked to been. He really hoped the jounin was not expecting him to already have this beast controlled because that seemed like an impossible job for even the most skilled of ninja, and especially since the boy had not even got the darn thing to talk to him. He wondered what his training would entail for the day, would he show him some water style moves? Or would he be taught about fighting? There really was no telling since the Meijin had only had brief interactions with this Jounin and did not know his thinking process.

Upon arriving to the training grounds Sakana was surprised to see that this one actually had a small lake or pondish like thing inside it, he wondered Senshi had picked this one out since they were both water style users. As he looked around he could not see anyone in site, this was great so he could train in quiet but not great as he did not see the jounin who was supposed to be teaching him. So insdead of leaving to look for him, the gennin figured it better to say put. So he made his way over to a tree about 10 meters away from the water and started to lean on it.

Fighting the Three Tails Jin (P, Sakana) Empty Re: Fighting the Three Tails Jin (P, Sakana)

Sat Jun 10, 2017 2:02 pm
Senshi slipped up from the water while at the same time flashing forwards at his maximum speed of one hundred and twenty five. His hand, had already moved backwards drawing forth his heavens sorrow ninjato, and he stopped so that he was only three inches from impaling the Meijan boy from where he stood against the tree. Senshi merely raised an eyebrow waiting quietly for several seconds before he finally spoke. “You’re a Jinchuuriki now. This means you are a prime candidate for assassination. Our enemies will want to get rid of you so that we can not longer be protected by your power.” Senshi paused looking at Sakana seriously for several moments before he moved his blade resheathing it on his hip.

“Word is you are of a blood line, I want you to spend the first part of this training trying to tap into the beasts chakra. Pull it forth. This is the safest place and time for you to attempt this since I will be able to stop you. Do not use your blood line if you can help it, just focus on using the beasts power.” Senshi took several steps backwards crossing his arms as he did so. “When you are ready tell me, our end goal for this training session is for you to be able to use some of the beasts chakra and some of your own at the same time. Any time you take it too far I will have to knock you unconscious. However, I am trained in the medical field so I’ll bring you back immediately so we can get the maximum amount of potential from our training as possible.”

Senshi had taken a few extra steps back so that he was standing next to the small lake of water as well. Looking back over it he shrugged slightly. “While you work on drawing for the beasts chakra I will be working on my own techniques and keeping an eye on you. Let us make our Raikage and the Makukage proud Sakana. You are set to become one of the strongest shinobi in our forces with this gift.”

Fighting the Three Tails Jin (P, Sakana) Empty Re: Fighting the Three Tails Jin (P, Sakana)

Sun Jun 11, 2017 1:47 am
Within an extremely short amount of time since Sakana had been leaning against the tree a figure started to emerge from the water. Time seemed to slow down as the figure was about a meter out of the water, Sakana would have been frozen in fear had it not been for the fact that the three tails finally decided to speak instead of sulking inside the boy. “MOVE!” He shouted. The gennin shook to life, and acted. Since the jounin was moving at a speed he could react to he quickly moved himself to the right and forward so the crazy man running at him with a sword would not kill him, unless the man changed his course Sakana would be about a foot to the right of him so that it was too close a distance to swing that sword again, and his body was facing the man so he would be he would be ready if he needed to dodge again. He also had his hands slightly raised, just in case. The Meijin should have been focused on the fact the bijuu had talked to him for the first time, but he was still recovering from almost being impaled. Looking at Senshi he would talk in an aggressive tone, “Are you freaking insane?” Senshi would go on to explain that he could be assassinated and more things that just sounded crazy to him. This guy literally just tried to impale him, how in the world was he supposed to trust anything he said? Thinking about what he should do, he started to entertain the conversation as he watched the sword being put away in its sheath. “You sound crazy, literally no one in the village knows except for you, me, Komon and Komori…. Plus whoever knows at the information office. All secure sources, so an enemy has no reason to pick me out of the crowd out of all the other nameless gennin.”

He would listen as the jounin started to explain that he wanted him to try and force the bijuu’s chakra and use it as his own. Naturally these words made no sense in the mind of Sakana, he had, acquired this power only days ago and he was already expected to master it? Plus the jounin said more things that put him off to the idea such as he wasn’t allowed to use any water techs and was only supposed to rely on the beats chakra, and also that he was going to knock him out over and over again until it worked but he was supposed to be ok with that since he could use medical ninjutsu on him. It was an insane idea and he was going to voice his complaint. “I know I’m new to this whole being a jin thing, and you are new to teaching me but I have literally had this thing inside me for less than a week, I would like to know how you think it’s possible for me to harness its power when I haven’t even got it to talk to me yet? And you knocking me doesn’t sound like a good time, even though you can bring me back, I’ll still feel it over and over.” Of course that whole not talking part was a lie since it saved him from being impaled, but the jounin had no way to know that.

After speaking, if nothing had changed Senshi would go on to explain that he would work on his own things, while Sakana was supposed to harness the power from a beast that’s chakra still felt completely separate from his own. He said that the gennin was set to become one of the strongest shinobi, but with the way their conversation was going, the Meijin wondered if it was all just lies or if the jounin had really felt that way.

Fighting the Three Tails Jin (P, Sakana) Empty Re: Fighting the Three Tails Jin (P, Sakana)

Sun Jun 11, 2017 12:14 pm
Was he insane? Well probably, but that was completely beside the point. Sakana just needed to toughen up, he’d been rather sheltered so far in his shinobi career. Not something that Senshi intended to allow to continue. As Sakana, started ranting the Jounin merely checked over his weapons making sure they were all in place properly so that should he need to he could draw them and fight on a moments notice. It was several seconds after Sakana finished ranting that Senshi finally looked up from what he had been doing and stared at the Water boy with hard, cold eyes. “First question, did Chuunin Komon and I not drag a massive beast through the woods destroying the terrain undoubtedly drawing attention to ourselves when we brought it to the gate?”

Senshi paused to let Sakana think this over before continuing, “Second Question. Was the beast not sealed into you in plain view of everyone that was in front of the village gates that day?” He paused again waiting for Sakana to register what the obvious answer was. Then he went in for the kill, so to speak, “Third and final question, are we not at war? While at war, don’t villages tend to accumulate spies?” Now he stopped talking as he let Sakana think through everything Senshi had just laid down in front of him. Was there an actual confirmed threat against Kumogakure’s jinchurriki? No. But then there wasn’t often an actual confirmed threat when it came time to kill someone either.

A good shinobi would not let their intentions be known until after they had made the kill after all. Something that Senshi did not intend to allow to happen. As Sakana began what Senshi considered complaining the Jounin just continued to stare at him like he was well…. Retarded. Who sat here and complained when they could be working on improving themselves. It seemed in the three days that Sakana had, had the beast he had not bothered to do any research into Jinchuuriki at all. With a loud, and obviously annoyed sigh Senshi spoke again. “Unlike you, I spent time researching how Jinchuuriki get in contact with their beasts, and failing that how best to drag out the power of the beast. I prepared for this training session.”

Senshi paused letting those words sink in. Letting Sakana know that Senshi was not taking his duty to train the sacrifice lightly and that he did not take Sakana’s whining, complaining, or lack of preparedness well. “You are nearly a Chuunin, you should have realized that you could have gone and done some research yourelf. Now rather than waste any more time we will get started.” Senshi reached into one of his weapons pouches pulling out a book on meditation before tossing it towards Sakana. “This is the more time consuming method, but I’ll be nice and we’ll start here. Meditation will allow you to become more intune with the beast, possibly even communicate with it. You have one hour, if you can’t get some form of contact out of the beast we move to the fighting method.”

Senshi moved away from Sakana to give him some room to work on the book and meditation himself, the clear annoyance with the Meijan boy showing in his every step. “The reason we aren’t using any of your bloodline or other abilities is because we need you to learn to use the turtle’s chakra first. Once you can do that you’ll be more than welcome to use all of your abilities.”

Fighting the Three Tails Jin (P, Sakana) Empty Re: Fighting the Three Tails Jin (P, Sakana)

Mon Jun 12, 2017 3:05 am
After his initial spewing of words, Senshi would start to try and question him. “First answer, it is to my understanding that the fight took place in lightining country, meaning someone would have to cross our boarders to even see that something had been dragged, it still doesn’t imply what it was or where it went.” His expression almost tried to make him sound more intelligent, this rivaled the dead eyes of the man standing in front of him. Like really there was no way for any logical person to know that he had a tailed beast inside him, unless the knowledge would suddenly pop into their head somehow.

There would be some time inbettwen his answer and the jounin’s next question. Talking to people with dead expressions were rather boring in the grand scheme of things, Sakana had no place to talk but he valued meaningful conversation not this back and forth they were doing now. The jounin explained that the bijuu was in plain sight and things like that and he expected Sakana to be dumbfounded by the simple explanation but he wasn’t.   “Second answer, there were six people total that were there that night who would have seen us, Me, you, Komon, Komori and two guards that were posted at the wall that day, loyal shinobi of kumogakure who would never betray their nation. Oh and the poor decaying men who live out in the woods, I don’t think they can speak though so not an issue there. Plus it was dark, and our wall is very high, meaning no one inside the gates could have seen. I take in my surroundings well, I’m not reckless.” Once again a few more seconds of silence, Sakana hadn’t gotten into an argument in a while and he forgot how fun they could be when he wasn’t totally wrong. There was some thrill in the back and fourth, but there was no fire in Senshi’s eyes, he seemed to be an emotionless telling it how he thinks it is kind of guy, there was respect in that, no fun though.

Then the third and final question was really an easy one to answer, at least to him anyway. “Last answer. Well technically we were at war, there really hasn’t been much opposition after the takeovers to my understanding, although I’m not positive on that since our officials might just be keeping that out of public information. And as to your second point about the spies, as the person in charge of the defense of our village isn’t it your responsibility to make sure there are no spies?” Senshi probably went into that conversation thinking he was going to make Sakana feel stupid but he wasn’t about to let that happen.

Then Senshi went on to call him unprepared and more things to try and insult his person. This time the expressionless male was visibly annoyed, and while the Meijin would admit he could be annoying at times, the jounin was definitely not helping their current situation. To accuse the gennin of being lazy would have been a semi accurate description had he known him, but this was their third meeting and Senshi was just assuming he hadn’t tried. “Actually I did try to do some research. Everything I know currently comes from a conversation Komori and I had, plus some books I thought I thought were urban legends before a few days ago. I read them in the back corner of the library, with a stack of other books about urban legends so that there would be no suspicion if anyone saw me, which I’m pretty sure didn’t happen anyway, the library is always pretty empty. So don’t say I haven’t tried, to my understanding there are only nine people like me, maybe a few more, so there isn’t a bunch of information at my disposal. I have tried talking to my turtle friend, a few times actually and no response, so unless you have some secret information that I don’t have access to, you know the same amount as me.” It was pretty wrong to assume that Sakana ignored his newfound responsibility especially when the jounin had told him it was so important. Had he been a hardheaded idiot, he would’ve taken the insult personally and lashed out instead of the tone he was currently using.

And the insults didn’t stop coming, even after that conversation Senshi had pretty much reiterated the same thing he had said earlier but this time he tossed him a meditation book which was titled, Tuning your Chakra, vol 1. And now he seemed to be so annoyed he was insisting a time limit, after it ended Sakana would be forced to fight. “Once again I did do my homework, and I have tried talking to it before. If you want me to go sit in the middle of the pond for an hour then fine, or if you, a jounin, want to try and kill me, a gennin like you did earlier, I guess we’ll have to do that. I know you haven’t ever felt this before, but the feeling is insane, like nothing you’ve ever felt before. I can feel it inside me completely separate from myself, all I am is a housing ground currently. I’m sure the other people like me didn’t become experts in a day either. You can get annoyed with me all you want but that’s not making this process any faster now is it?” There was a sort of defiance in his voice. If the jounin was mad at him already this probably would’ve put him over the edge. After that the big dude would explain why he wasn’t allowed to use his other techniques and such. It would have made some sort of sense if  Sakana had been training successfully for a while, not on his first day of physical training.  If that was all Senshi had to say Sakana would go sit in the middle of the lake and read the book that would probably do nothing for him, he was already pretty in tune with his chakra, well water chakra mostly.

Fighting the Three Tails Jin (P, Sakana) Empty Re: Fighting the Three Tails Jin (P, Sakana)

Wed Jun 14, 2017 3:39 pm
(I appologize for this being short and crappy but I don't feel well and we need to exit)

Senshi glared down at the Genin as he went on his rant. He had many a thing that he would be saying to the boy. Most of it based around respect. However, seeing as he believed all shinobi should be respectful to each other regardless of rank he would let the over confident, thinks he knows it all Genin continue to speak and make a fool of himself. When he finally, finally, finished speaking Senshi raised an eyebrow his eyes hardening to ice chips as he glared down at the Genin. Using the display of power skill he upped his presence to make the boy feel
More uncomfortable. "Are you done?" He continued staring waiting to see if Sakana would utter anything else before speaking again.

"You do not deserve to be a Chuunin. You're over confident. You think you know more than you do. You are unwilling to listen to advice from people who have more training and skill than you. You would rather sit here and complain. Whine. About how difficult it is instead of working on the solutions to the problem given to you. These are the qualities of a weak Willed, pathetic civilian. Even academy students are better than this." Senshi paused glaring down at the boy before him with a look of disgust and disappointment shining in his eyes. "I am highly inclined to recommend to the Raikage that your progress through the Chuunin exams be nullified and you be forced back to the academy to learn the basics of respect. I am also inclined to recommend we unseal the bijuu from you and seal it into someone else who is willing to learn and train."

He paused again letting his words sink in before continuing again giving Sakana no chance to interrupt him. "However, I will give you a second chance. You will keep in mind that I am a Jounin of Kumogakure. I have extensive training and an impeccable track record in training shinobi to become better. If I tell you something will assist you in your training and take the time to explain why you will not sit around and complain about how hard it is or how it doesn't make sense to you. You are welcome to ask questions in order to better understand why you are to train the way I prescribe and I will do my best to help you understand. You will not be so disrespectful ever again and if I should find out that you have treated any shinobi, regardless of rank, wth such disrespect again I will ensure you are demoted back to academy student for remedial training. Am I clear?"

His voice hardened and rose slightly as he spoke his last words. "Do not presume you have a choice in this matter. This. Is. An. Order." Senshi enunciated each word lacing his voice with killing intent as he glared at the whiny child before him. "Now take a moment to center yourself. Sit down. Focus on your breathing. Slowly drive out any sounds around you, any distractions you feel. Focus on your breathing. Once you've gotten to that point, feel the flow of your chakra. Immerse yourself in it, so that it is the only thing that you feel. The only thing that matters to you. Then search for the foreign chakra in your system, the chakra that you haven't used. That you've never felt before through all of your training. Embrace that chakra. Let it wash over you, consume you. Accept it."

Senshi paused before finishing his speech. "Chances are you may lose control to this chakra. You will need to find something to focus on to keep your sense of self while you are channeling it. Be that your anger at me or something else. I will ensure you do not leave this training area and injure anyone as you attempt this. You may find that you can contact and speak the beast inside of you once this happens. As you are the container it is up to you to decide how to treat and deal with the beast. I can not tell you how to handle your prisoner as you need to have a working relationship with it. I do highly recommend you be respectful however. The beast is legendary, incredibly powerful, and undoubtedly intelligent. That deserves respect in itself. You may begin."

As Senshi waited for Sakana to begin what he was being ordered to do he activated his seal of power just in case the boy did lose himself to the beast and attack him.

Fighting the Three Tails Jin (P, Sakana) Empty Re: Fighting the Three Tails Jin (P, Sakana)

Wed Jun 14, 2017 8:14 pm
During the gennin speeches, Senshi’s chakra began to boom as he activated his display of power. While the seeming rage and aura did freak him out a when it was activated, Sakana couldn’t receive the full effect of Senshi’s intent due to him not having the chakra sensory skill. So the Meijin only saw the outside effect and not the explosion of chakra inside him. It still sacred him but what kind of fool would he be if he let his weakness show now? And then the jounin hit him with the “Are you done?” These words were meant to be harsh and cruel and it did hit Sakana hard. To the gennin that comment was an insult in itself, like Senshi had not cared about anything he had said. While that was very rude Sakana chose to keep his mouth shut waiting for him to spew whatever insult that was next.

And then the next one came, “You do not deserve to become chuunin,” well that certainly was pretty rude. Along with some more insults about how he was overconfident, and how he was weak, even going so far as to call him worse than an academy student. Then came the glaring look of disgust, seriously was this dude serious? Had he not heard himself speak the past couple of minutes, while Sakana wasn’t a saint, neither was he. Wow, was all he could think next, this time he was actually threanted with demoting his  rank and even death as Senshi wanted to remove the bijuu from Sakana.

The Meijin opened his mouth to respond, but was quickly cut off because apparently the jounin had more things to say.  Sakana almost laughed as Senshi said he was going to give him a second chance and that he was not allowed to be disrespectful since Senshi was a jounin and that whole respect your elders speech, but It didn’t end there since he was one of those people who had to show off how good they were while putting someone else down. He talked about his impeccable track record, which should have impressed Sakana but he started thinking about the X we was about to become on that record. After more talk about him being disrespectful, which Sakana was getting rather bored of since he had heard it a bunch of times at this point, he was asked that make or break question, of “Am I clear?”

Well he had two options now didn’t he, he could go on to explain to Senshi how he was completely bonkers by saying something like, “I never said I deserved to be chuunin, I’m just taking the exams like everyone else has to, it’s not my decision whether I pass or not, but it’s not yours either. And to clarify I was right seeing how you didn’t detest what I said, but you were wrong in the fact in calling me someone who thinks they know it all. I only ever respond with things I am certain about, hence why I’m usually a quiet person. And me telling you that ive already tried your ‘perfect training method’ and it not working isn’t a complaint, it is a fact. Facts that you seem to not want to consider, you think you’re perfect with your impeccable record but you really aren’t. What makes you any better than any other jounin in kumogakure? And you calling me a weak citizen isn’t exactly training me more than you just insulting me for your betterment. I don’t learn through fear, I’ve been afraid my whole childhood due to being an outsider, I’m done being afraid. I learn through actual training, not from you acting like you’re better than you actually are. I don’t really care if you are a jounin or a gennin you shouldn’t talk to anyone that way either, because when I’m a jounin I wont force anyone to do anything they aren’t up for. So no I guess we aren’t really clear.”

That’s what he would have said had he been willing to get demoted, but he really wasn’t in the mood to have to deal with Senshi again as he would inevitably have to if he had to take all the exams over again, the best thing to do now was probably to shut up and try to get through this day as soon as possible and possibly, no hopefully never have to deal with him again. There was a learning curve to the game of life wasn’t there? When to speak and when to observe, he may have lost some points in the begiing of this conversation but he was prepared to win the rest. Get through this day and train hard enough to become a jounin, so that he can’t be just told what to do by this guy. So he went with the “Yes we are clear.” And that should’ve been the end of it but the next part just fell out of his mouth, “You do realize you just suggested killing me though, right? Unsealing a bijuu is a death sentence, and your impeccable training record would be ruined.” He said that last part with a sarcastic grin as if he had just proved everything she said wrong.

Hopefully that wouldn’t set this guy off, but as he was speaking he started to hear the grumbling of the tailed beast inside him. Time kind of stopped in the outside world as he started talking the tailed beast for the first time. He looked inside himself and saw the turtle, caged up in an iron seal that had fuinjutsu carved into the bars, preventing him from just like biting the iron. “I liked the first speech better, this guy deserves to too, he had no right to put me in here and then just magically assume me and you would be the best of friends so soon. To be honest I’m more or less waiting for you to die, but not in this country I’m done here so I’ll have to stick around with you for the time being.” He bellowed, his large size making his voice sound strong and powerful. Sakana had the biggest dumfounded looked on his face while looking at the turtle, as he yelled angrily “Are you freaking serious you choose now to talk! We could have done this three days ago and I wouldn’t be in this stupid argument right now. This is all your fault.” His anger weakened him as he spoke, seemingly giving more power to the beast. He didn’t need this right now, what he needed was to leave this training ground, go home and sleep. He started to feel more angry, yelling at the beast as he walked forward towards the cage, after every footstep he would get louder and louder. He was done listening to people who didn’t care about him at all. He was done with all of it. So grabbed the bars of the cage and sounding defeated he said, “Please just go back to sleep, please don’t bother me anymore, I leave you alone and you get to ride around with me not bossing you around, does that sound like a deal? Give me a party trick’s amount of chakra real quick to get this guy off my back. Please.” And had it gone that way this would’ve been a very different story, Senshi would’ve gotten to the last part of her speech uninterrupted. The beast was not taking suggestions on what to do with his chakra just yet. As bolt of pink coral came out of no where, grabbing Sakana by the arms, linking their chakra together as the bijuu was granted a low level of control over the boy’s body.

Life flashed back to real time, and Senshi had just finished the “This is an order part.” And while Sakana probably would’ve done what he had said, Isobu would not. The blue tail shot out behind him as the turtle sounding sadistic said, “The kid may not have had a choice but I do. And you’ve been a nuisance to the both of us, so I’m sure he won’t mind it when I kill you.” The Sakana controlled by Isobu would lash out trying to rip apart Senshi’s arm from his socket, and since they were only a few meters away it would not allow the Jounin to dodge, it was either get hit or fight back. Sakana could only watched as this happened as he was merely a spectator in his own body. On one hand he was glad someone stood up to Senshi but on the other he was afraid because he could feel everything still. Meaning he would feel Senshi knock him out, like he promised him he would.

Fighting the Three Tails Jin (P, Sakana) Empty Re: Fighting the Three Tails Jin (P, Sakana)

Wed Jun 14, 2017 9:07 pm
Senshi raised an eyebrow as Sakana choose to add in his little smart ass remark. He even had the nerve to act self satisfied as though he had won some sort of argument from all of this. In truth Sakana had won nothing. "Yes I'm well aware it would kill you. Consider it incentive. I don't care about my record, it, is what it is. I only mention it so you understand that I do have skill in training shinobi. Rather than just expecting you to trust in my skills blindly, it is better to tell others why they should have faith in your skills. It builds bonds of trusts." Or at least that was what all the books said about it. Letting people know your abilities so that they could have a better degree of trust in you when you said you could do something.

It had worked with every other shinobi he had trained with. Senshi felt the sudden odd spike of chakra, he was well versed in how Sakana's chakra felt and were he anyone else a sick grin would have flashed across his face. Instead it remained as passive as always, the small bolts of lightning jumping around his body and bits of wind chakra throwing his hair and beard around a bit. It seemed his plan had worked, the plan he couldn't tell the boy because if he knew then the beast would know and then the plan would not work. Senshi had intended to get the boy angry from the get go. All of the books had said that the more angry a jinchuuriki was the more likely it was that the beast could exert some form of control over them.

It was especially true for young, newly made Jinchuuriki. He would have preferred if the boy hadn't been so hard headed and arrogant from the get go. He could have gotten at least some meditation done before all of this occurred which could have sped up his chances for gaining control. But then arrogant Genin being given the power of a bijuu would tend to make them worse off. Senshi made a note to ether work with the boy himself or get someone else to do so in order to curb his arrogance before it got him killed. Or he did something stupid like spoke to the Raikage with this chip on his shoulder.

As the beast spoke, Senshi did allow a slight grin to spread across his face. He did it purposefully to show off his incisors. His hand lashed out catching the coral arm that came flying towards him. His hands were covered in wind chakra sharpening them, protecting them from the corals. With his full strength he smashed his hand, open palm, into the wrist of the attacking Jinchuuriki. He purposefully put his full strength into it in order to send the boy spinning and open the distance between them. For now he stood with his arms slightly wider his knees bent a little as he was prepared to move.

"A week little turtle nestling like you thinks it can even scratch me? You barely caused me to break a sweat during our battle. You were pathetic. Are you sure you're one of the legendary bijuu?" Senshi's voice purposefully took on a taunting tone. He wasn't one for such things but he needed to enrage the beast more. Cause it to give Sakana more chakra. "The boy has a name, he is Sakana Meijan, a Genin of Kumogakure. While he has his faults he is a strong and integral part of our village. You won't stand a chance against him once he's gained more experience." Senshi's face was still implaccid as he spoke. While he did think Sakana was arrogant and disrespectful, he was also intelligent enough to know that the kid was young. He was learning. He was impetuous because he was young. He was also dealing with a lot and Senshi's harsh attitude would not be dealt with so well when someone was as stressed as he likely was. That didn't mean Senshi wasn't still irritated with him, it just meant he understood why Sakana was acting the way he was. Why he likely hadn't thought through any of the answers he had given.

Questioning Senshi on if he was doing a good job as the General of the defences was rudenin the extreme. But it also should have sparked a thought in the boys mind that if any one was aware of the threats the village faced then it would be him. It was also unrealistic of the boy to assume all spies could be stopped. That mere task would be impossible without a complete lock down. Something which couldn't be done since they needed the supplies being delivered and the supplies that they were sending to the front line. Sakana should have thought about his words, questioning why a Jounin, the General of Defences, would see fit to warn him and taken the warning seriously. Not tried to make Senshi sound like an incompetent fool who couldn't do his job. If someone higher up the chain, who has better access to information on what is going on, gives you a warning or a piece of advice someone wth Sakana's intelligence should realize it is likely valid and should be heeded. Not question that personas sanity and competence.

Fighting the Three Tails Jin (P, Sakana) Empty Re: Fighting the Three Tails Jin (P, Sakana)

Wed Jun 14, 2017 11:35 pm
As Senshi raised his eyebrow and said he didn’t care whether Sakana lived or die, he one hundred perfect believed him. The jounin had made it pretty evident that he had no concern for his personal well being and as long as the village had its solider that’s all that mattered.  But No matter how many times he  said it Sakana didn’t believe that he didn’t care about his record, even if he didn’t, Sakana thought he must’ve cared if he felt the need to flaunt the claim around like an accomplishment. Did he trust Senshi? On some level he had too, if a war was coming like he said he wouldn’t have a choice, but he didn’t believe he was safe around him. He fully trusted Senshi to do as he said but he didn’t trust him in the sense that he valued his comrades, they wouldn’t be having this conversation if the jounin saw himself as Sakana’s equal. Funny thing about trust, it’s super hard to earn when two people have conflicting personalities, they probably be more development to that in the future.

As Isobu attacked the jounin with his coral arm, he was still almost as slow as he was during their previous fight in comparison to the jounin. The coral around his arm shattered, had that not been there his wrist probably would’ve been in around 100 pieces by now. So while spinning the turtle wondered what his next move would be, like he mentioned to Sakana earlier, he’d really prefer to not have him die, as he assumed if he was freed he’d be sealed into the jounin and then he probably would have tried to find a way to kill himself. As the man talked there was just more insults, it was like that’s all Senshi knew how to do. Isobu wasn’t stupid, he was a legendary beast like the jounin had managed to point out, but he did implant the seed of destruction into both Senshi and Sakana’s head. Proving that he wasn’t here to mess around. More threats came also, that Sakana was going to be way stronger than the beast and more threats, if the jounin had really believed that he wouldn’t have ridiculed him so much earlier. But like he said the seed was planted, he would go back into hiding… for now.

Returning to Sakana, his voice bellowed “Was that good enough of a party trick for you? I really do hope he’s right though. I’d love become strong enough to kick his ass when you’re older, if I haven’t escaped by then. I’ll give you control of your body once you receive my parting gift. Good luck.”

Sakana listened as the beast talked, what was he supposed to do fight that thing? Senshi’s words of wisdom hadn’t helped much since he still wasn’t sure to what degree it was truthful, but like he thought earlier, he didn’t take the older man for a liar. The parting gift as the beast had described it  was really freaking painful. The Meijin felt himself regain control of his body as his chakra started to feel weird. At first it tingled, then it stung, then it burned. This feeling was way worse than getting stabbed, worse than breaking his ankle, worse than the feeling of the bijuu being sealed inside him. Their chakra was fusing together, this felt nothing like chakra infusion, the felt like his body was being altered forever. This now meant the bijuu had chakra in Sakana’s own chakra steam. While this may have seemed like as success, it also meant the turtle would have an easier time gaining control. And since the rush of chakra flowed freely, Coral started to spew out of Sakana’s chakra network, covering his whole body as he fell to his knees. Once the coral had covered his whole body and was close to covering his face he turned to Senshi and said, “Mission accomplished?” He would ask with his now famous smirk before fainting and falling to the ground. Once the chakra evenly flowed through out his body the coral shell around him would start to go away. And hopefully this disastrous day would be over, although it wasn’t all bad that came out of this, he was now aligned with the three tails, no matter how bad it hurt.
