Tai training (Kirino)

I see. She thought while imagining what it would look like to see two users of shikotsumyaku fight. She'd witnessed what it was like when two gentle fist users fought and when a non user fought one of her clansmen. Against a non user the gentle fist always seemed superior and almost impossible. But when faced against another member of the Hyuga clan the battles seemed almost endless. Love own curiosity was replaced with Kirino's when she went to answer the older girl's question.

"I suppose so but I don't have much experience fighting those outside of my clan." She would tell the girl before being asked to perform a new task. Clematis? Love thought on the word, she didn't know much about plants but it did sound like the name of a flower. Deciding that it wasn't important at the moment she stopped thinking about it and activated her dojutsu. With her kekkei genkai activated Love had an increase in chakra and could perform the skill with more precision. "Here I come!" Love said and charged at Kirino.

Kirino studied Love's eyes as she activated her doujutsu. The veins of the eyes appeared strained as if she were exerting the use of her eyes. "Does it take a lot of energy to keep that up?" The white hair girl asked as Love began her charge. It would be easy to dodge the blade seeing as the other girl had yet to swing it.


With her maximum speed Kirino ran forward ready to dodge the blade as promised. She threw a couple of punches forward, but always stopped short of connecting. Either that or what looked to be a powerful attack only resulted in a light tap, that would let Love know that she was hit. The training was about more than learning a technique it was about learning to use it effectively in a fight.

Knowing something was useless if it couldn't be used effectively when needed. So, a spar well not really that but something similar. If it were a spar, Kirino would have already thrown the girl into a tree and waited hours for her to wake up. Leaving someone unconscious in the training grounds alone was not cool.

"Not really." Love replied to the question Kirino asked before she moved. Her eyes widened as she witnessed Kirino's full speed. She moved her head back slightly in awe of her speed. Her eyes would be able to keep up but her body couldn't. Kirino threw punches but held back; just inches from her. The sensation Love felt from the incomplete attacks felt like a pluck or a weak gentle fist strike. Meaning she could ignore the feelings but after a while she'd be sore. 


I need to get close like that and let my chakra do the cutting. She thought as she began swinging the kunai at Kirino. That was the purpose of this jutsu right? To be an extension of the arm. Love concentrated the chakra in her hand to make the edges and tip of the blade sharper.

Kirino would dodge the blade and move around Love, giving her more gentle taps on the body to let her know she had been struck. It seems she is starting to understand how to flow chakra through the weapon though. "When you look at the kunai, can you see the flow of chakra?" The answer was obvious Kirino could see a small outline extending from the blade, so there must be chakra.

"Well I did promise you a dance." Kirino said as a massive bone lance formed around her right arm. During this time she would also pull out her spine with her left, once out she would extend the whip full speed towards the girl and have it wrap around her. (speed 138, no power because I'm not trying to hurt you.) "Don't blink!" The Kaguya would yell as she pulled the whip and maybe trapped Love towards the bone spear. "Clematis Dance: Vine and Flower!" Just as the girl was about to be pierced Kirino would move her body and have the girl harmlessly bounce off of her chest. 


She would then kneel down offering a hand for the girl to take. "Thanks for the dance, now lets get you to the hospital."

After hearing Kirino's question Love would look down at her hand. "Yea." She answered and looked back up as Kirino mentioned a dance. Love watched in amazement as the girl created a massive bone weapon around her right arm. "That's pretty awesome." She voiced although she intended for it to just be a thought. Before she knew it Kirino had trapped Love as she was being held just inches from being pierced. "Woah." Love took Kirino's hand a shook her head while standing back up. "I've never moved that fast before." She said and then nodded to Kirino about going to the hospital.

Pretty awesome is a great way to describe it. The bones began to break down absorbing back into her body leaving Love relatively unharmed besides the previous injury. The girl was able to learn chakra infusion as she said upon looking at her blade, seeing the energy held within. Much like any training focus was important, using the environment effectively was also useful. Kiranomo had taught Kirino this early and made the girl pay for every mistake in her movement. Maybe another day’s lesson would be more like that, when Kirino had a squad of her own. Oh, wait that’s abuse.


”Well it is all in the training, speed comes with repetition.” The Kaguya said as Love mentioned she had never moved so fast. With training out of the way it was time to get this girl to the hospital to have her leg checked out. It didn’t seem broken when Kirino touched it, but she wasn’t a medical expert. The closest in the field she had come was dissecting spiders or other dead animals, or when she tore open a dead body with her bones and enjoyed the sight of blood and guts.

Kirino beckoned Love to follow it would be a short trip to the hospital, but Kirino felt like she should escort Love. Just in case her leg started to hurt or for some other reason, that the girl couldn't quite think of at the moment.
