Kozan's Path to Chuunin 3 [mission, nk]

It was finally the day where Kozan would attempt to get to the halfway point to the chunin rank. So far, the missions had been easy enough, being that they were merely demonstrations of his own skill against a flat standard. However, from the documents he was now reading, it was clear to him that his midway point was different. He'd have to test his skills not against a mere objective, but against another person. Entering the building, he found himself waiting for his opponent. Nightblood being at his side, he had no doubt that he'd be able to win.

For the genin of Kumogakure no Sato, there was a set of missions to get promoted to chuunin. The third challenge represented a test to see how their combat skills had grown since being in the academy. On this day a younger male name Raiku entered the training room with the goal of testing his skills against a fellow genin in order to try and get the promotion.

He was dressed in a simple shirt and pants, nothing special equiped or brought along as this test focused on hand to hand combat in order to even the odds. Upon entrance into the room Raiku would be standing three meters across from the other male Kozan, Raiku's vision focused on his opponent. He raised his right hand into the air, bending his knees slightly to prepare for an attack, his right hand taunting his opponent to come at him.

So, this was his opponent? He didn't seem like much, but you could never tell. He would be the first to admit (if only rather grudgingly) that Kumo had among the best talent in the world. Especially this new, hardened Kumo. Not loose and soft like the old one. Oh, this was going to be good. He could feel his own bloodlust tingling in his gut, driving him onwards. The door shut behind him, and there he was in the illuminated room with the kid, who was just a few meters away.

Huh, well then... Kozan would traverse a few steps forward, closing the distance between them at 70 speed. As soon as he was within appropriate range, he would lash out with his right vertical fist, aiming for the boy's frontal nerve, hoping to blind him for a moment and then take him down. This punch would be done at 135 speed and 76 strength. He had no clue how durable his opponent was, and expected the worst. His left hand would be by his side, slightly away from his body in a flexible position to attack or block.

Was this too much for the kid? Kozan's fist smashed into the boy's forehead, knocking him out and possibly causing some brain damage. Well then, he had definitely won. Shrugging, he walked away, leaving the kid on the floor. It seems that he was now halfway to his goal...
