Royal Emissary [Mission]

As the group so far did not encounter any trouble on the way back, Hado continued healing himself, aiming to make the wounds as clean as possible, an easy task given that the Royal Entourage was not bothering to spare him much attention, any attention would be mostly focused on the monk guy, Lucian, who easily came across as the most competent of the group of genin, to nobody’s surprise. That and the puppet was kind of kool bro, Hado should ask Lucian about that stuff later just cause.

Anyways, as they approached the village, Hado was nearly done patching up that dangerous cut he had received earlier. Hopefully he did not get more like that because that would be painful.

He was healing nicely though and they were just walking through the gates. Hado eventually got his reward, and went hom, stopping by a drug store to get some bandages, and some rubbing alcohol.

At home he ruefully decided that a chakra anesthetic would be a nice thing, as a complimentary thingy to the chakra healing tech, since his neck hurt a bit. His chakra was running out before he had finished healing up, so hence the rubbing alcohol. The healing reduced the pain but it still hurt like the dickens, or whatever ninjas used to swear by. At least the rubbing alcohol he poured fairly excessively upon his person would help prevent infection until his chakra levels were restored by his body to a reasonably safe level before he could do jutsu safely again.

It ended up taking him until the next morning to be able to finish the healing, but he felt he had gained a better understanding of the medical ninjutsu basics.

And so it went. The trio escorted the royals, who were amazingly unscathed, without further incident. The mission itself had been a success, but as Lucian left the academy with his money he could not help but think that the execution had failed. Working with others was rather irksome. Not knowing how someone would act was quite troublesome. Today was the day he learned he could only trust the puppet at his side. Even now, as the pair made their way back home Lucian could feel the bond between them becoming stronger, the lengths of chakra connecting them becoming stronger. As he took control of the puppet with a single finger a brief smile flashed across his face, triumph at last. His true mission complete.
