Haru’s response to Tori’s letter came a bit more hastily, and a lot more casually then his last letter. His neat, formal handwriting was instantly recognizable to anyone who had ever seen it

I apologize for taking so long to respond. I’ve been very busy with village affairs, now that we have moved on to Kirigakure. It’s strange here, very different from my old home, and I suppose it’s a little sullen of me, but I’d love to spend some time away from this place. I do still have some business to attend to, so I will let you know when I’m able to come see you.
I also have a warning for you. I’ve received a letter from Sephora, inviting me to come see her. She says she’s coming to see you as well, and I’m wary of putting trust in her. She may have allies, and she might be planning to spring a trap. Keep your guard up, and make sure Shinji is aware of this. He’s a powerful ninja, and he’ll be able to protect you from anything that comes your way.
I hope to see you soon, I’m sick of being stuck on these islands, and I miss you.
