Loser Marvels

Rakka got the distinct impression this kid was afraid of her. Whatever. She didn't have to be liked, just respected, and if he didn't respect her... Well, it was a strange thing, and she didn't dare mention it aloud, but she had the strongest temptation to remove the boy's arm. 

He was here to deliver documents to the Tenkage, although after the little exchange that had just occurred, she had second thoughts about how well that would go on. 
"Give me the documents. I'll hold on to them for now. If Naoki gets mad, that's on me, but I don't think it's a good idea to give them out with tension like this. Best to wait for further orders." She said, holding out her hands for the documents. If she received them, she would simply sigh. Near the gates there was a vendor selling food, and the smell was wafting over to them

"Come on kid, I'll treat you to some ramen. It looks like we're stuck here, for now." She said, fishing her Ryo from her boot as she gestured for him to follow her there. At least she might not be seen as quite so cold if she offered some kindness for a change.

After seeing how this woman treated him, he was more than happy to get this business over and done with. Timidly, he would hand over the papers to her. In his heart, he guiltily realized that he was relieved to know that there was less of a chance that Naoki would discipline him. This feeling wasn't just a conjuring of the mansion, it was Kozata's own weakness. As he followed the woman, he couldn't help but feel just a bit... homesick.
