I Want To Fly Away

Altar stood at the borders of Amegakure, with ryo in his right hand and documents in his left. Figuratively, of course. In reality, both were hidden away, out of sight in his coat. He swore he felt a sense of de ja vu, that he had been here and done this before, but he shook it from his mind. Clearly, it was nothing.

He felt pride exiting Amegakure, knowing that what had been asked of him had been done. He had completed his mission and gotten all the information on the village of constant rain that he could find and muster. Surely, it would all come in handy. It was a shame to see a village like that in ruins, but if it would benefit Altar, as well as Tengakure, then it was something to take and handle in stride.

Altar had Tenebris flying above him, wary of the boy's tricks. The dragon had no desire to carry Altar on his back again, and would keep his distance, though keeping Altar in eyesight. He was still alert that, though they had traveled this path before, anything could happen. They would both need to keep their wits about them for the journey ahead.
