Maku's Summoning Scroll

Maku was wondering through Takigakuri basically just looking for something to do.  He had finished his morning training session and his sensei was nowhere to be found.  Maku figured he could kill some time while he rested before his afternoon workout by checking into the shops around town.  While walking one antique store caught his eye. 

           Walking in, he discovered that they had just gotten a summoning scroll in.  Maku had never seen one, but had long been interested in the art of the summoning jutsu and was interested in giving it a try.  Because of this he purchased the scroll for 1000 ryo and took it back to his home.  Once he got it home he did some research on the proper hand seals.  He had long heard if you didn’t have a contract signed, you could use the summoning jutsu and it would cause you to be transported to the place where you had the most affinity for.  Using the hand seals, cutting his thumb slightly with a needle he placed his hand on the seal, and he felt instantly that it had worked.

              It felt like someone had used a hook to grab him around the naval, and pulled him a very long way.  When he looked around he noticed he was on a secluded beach that was also surrounded by great mountains, with caves popping in and out.  All around him where crabs, lobsters, and other crustaceans of varying sizes.  One in particular looked like a huge rock standing over 15 feet tall, but upon closer inspection was a rock.  Taking in a nervous breath Maku walked up to the large creature and spoke “Lord Lobster, I am here to make a contract with this place, can you point me to whoever could be of greatest help?”


                The lobster looked at him intently, and then smashed its large claws all around Maku several times in a clear attempt to intimidate him.  When Maku forced himself to not move or even blink the lobster began to laugh with an eerie screeching sound.  “Little ninja, you seem brave, and we of the coast of Kōkaku-rui haven’t seen your likes in a long time.” The lobster said, with a strange clicking sound as it talked.  Suddenly a large scroll appeared in front of Maku. “Sign in blood little ninja, and we will be allies, but be warned should you prove unworthy my people will turn on you and crush you, but should you prove worthy we will be trusted allies, and perhaps one day you will meet the big boss Cing Crab.” (Pun intended). 

               With that Maku drew his wakizashi and made a long cut across his palm, and planted his hand print into the box leaving his mark.  With that the scroll disappeared.  “Now be gone little ninja, we will meet on the battlefield soon as allies, and once proven we will find you other strong allies from my land to fight with us as well.” Said the Rock Lobster before causing Maku to be desummoned.  Blinking Maku realized he was back at his home.  What an interesting trip that had been, he thought to himself.  Now though h knew he had a new trick up his sleeve that would surely come in handy.
