Chilling with the plebeians [P]

Naoki would observe Kaede's withdrawal while on the move himself. As the mist was summoned, his position was changed - a good five meters out of the mist and maybe ten from the spot he launched the phoenix fires. It was quite clear that the idea was to blind him with the mist so he would be forces to coordinate the fires blindly. And to some degree, it worked - he could not see the man, yes, but neither could the man see him or the fires for that matter. To use the situation for his advantage, Naoki stopped and focused his senses into the mist. The chakra sensory ability he possessed allowed him to spot the leader through must higher concentration of chakra than that of the mist. As that happened, he could sense a sudden shift in his chakra as it split into two, now there being two individuals inside the mist. Not exactly sure which one is which, the Jounin would split the fires in the mist, sending one after each guy. One of them would continue to elude the attacks, while the second one broke off and headed in the direction of Naoki's previous position. With a fireball on his tail. So apparently, one of them was a clone, right? And it's only natural to send clones on a suicide runs, use them for distractions instead of keeping them hidden. Following that line of logic, Naoki assumed that the one exiting the mist would be the clone, while the one still in the mist was the original. The clone was in a nasty surprise, assuming that without a sensory ability like Naoki's he was just as blind in this mist as he was - as his sharingan did not really help much here. As soon as the clone would exit the mist, it would be hit by one of the fires sent after it from behind - from the blind spot, as the attack would be concealed by the his own mist until it was too late to dodge. Of course there was always a way out, although it seemed unlikely. The Uchiha planned something similar for the original.  Being in the mist, he was more or less blinded to the attacks from the outside, while Naoki knew his position - at least that is what he assumed, not really knowing the full extent of the leader's abilities. The remaining single fire in the mist would continue to pursue its target as the two that were sent up into the sky would now target the location of the original, both coming down from outside the mist, where they could not be perceived. At the very last moment the single fire in the mist would half, circling in two meter radius around Kaede, hopefully just out of his sight in the mist, as the remaining two rained down at the same distance from him, all three detonating in unison, in a triangle formation, basically transcending into a nine meter diameter explosion with Kaede at the center of it. For the moment, this was the best Naoki could do, as he was not stupid enough to dive into the mist. He would remain at the spot, a couple meters from water, and wait for me mist to clear unless something else happened.

Shortly  after  Naoki  attacked  Kaede  with a fire  style  jutsu, Shinto  was  looking  carefully at  Kaede,while  hoping that  maybe, maybe  he  won't  dodge  the  jutsu. But  in  fact  he dodged  it  with  high  skill, even  the  young  Senju  couldn't  have  dodged  a  jutsu  like  that  only  with taijutsu, something  that  was  expected  from  the  leader  of  a  village. After  that  a  mist  formed  strangely, the  boy  realizing  that  it  was  a  jutsu, one  which  was  very  tricky  and  allowed  the  use  of  the  jutsu  to  make  tricky  moves, very  useful  and  if  caught in it  without no way of escape or sensory ability the one trapped in the mist could die pretty fast. Shinto used his sensory ability that he possessed to detect the enemy to make sure if he was going to be attacked or not  , sensing  a high concentration of chakra inside the mist.Even if he could not discern who's chakra was he sensed a high level of chakra from the mist,so the boy  retreated immediately away from the mist thinking that if he was in the mistand Kaede  would   have used the  Uzumaki's Kekkei Genkai , which he mastered he could have been defeated easily. Now he was at a distance of  only  30  meters away from the mist so he could be attacked pretty fast if that was Kaede's next move.Looking after the enemy which was supposed to attack he sees Kaede coming out from the mist,not knowing if that was the real Kaede or just a clone. Shinto watches with close attention the counter attack of Naoki, thinking that he was blessed with a great ally,  while not wanting only to stay there to watch and  do nothing he stayed at the distance of 5 mist near the mist waiting ready for the mist to clear so that he could see the enemy and attack him with a powerful jutsu that he had in mind. Their team was a good one but still he was worried because he did not knew the full extent of Kaede's abilities, expecting to be surprised somehow by Kaede with another powerful jutsu after their next attack or maybe even sooner . The  boy  wanted  to  prove  himself  worthy , as  Naoki took a more active role in the battle than Shinto, so the boy didn’t want to be an useless ally for Naoki.That would also make the Senju useless in the eyes of the leader,and he didn't wanted that something like that to happen,even if he, surely , wasn't at the same level  with the leader he had to try.

How interesting. It seemed Kaede had somewhat underestimated his opponents. Information came back to him on how the clone was dispatched upon leaving the mist. Kaede assumed as this point that at least one of them was capable of sensing himself within the mist. So maybe it was time for him to leave? He made no further attempt to move around in the mist and stood still. Instead he focused on a set of seals within his mind. His mind quickly ran through the seals, and finished around the time that the fireballs exploded. Perhaps if he had been slightly slower in his thoughts he might have been injured. However that was not the case, as what took the brunt of the blast was a deck chair. Namely the deck chair that he had been sitting in beforehand. Through use of the substitution jutsu Kaede was now located somewhat behind Naoki. While he had his back to the two jounin that wasn't exactly a problem for the Uzumaki. After all those two weren't the only ones to possess the ability to sense chakra. While Kaede was the first to admit that his sensory skills weren't exactly that great it still made do. So he had a general idea of where the two jounin were located. Now he had two options, A was that he could go to engage in taijutsu with the both of them which would be rather problematic. Or B he could try to end the fight now with another usage of his bloodline ability. It didn't take him that long to chose which one, it wasn't even a second in fact. Two chains were sent outwards from his back, his shoulder blades to be more precise. The two chains head towards different targets, with the one on the left going to Shinto and the one on the right going to Naoki. It did not end with one chain each however. From each of the chains split off three more. Now numbering four for each target they continued on their path. With his mastery of the chains came the ability to manipulate them to his will. And that is what Kaede did. The chains changed angle mid-flight, with two arcing down so that the spike located on the end would pass against the outsides of the lower leg of the jounin. The two remaining chains would do something similar, but instead would be aimed to cut into the forearms of the jounin. Kaede did of course take precautionary measures once again. If the two jounin failed to dodge away from their respective chain attacks then the angle of the chains would once more alter at the last moment in order to make sure any damage was kept to a shallow cut at most.

Everything seemed to be progressing as planned. The clone once hit detonated into a lightning blast, which was new to Naoki as he had never seen clones go out in such fashion, in such light show. Lucky for him, the explosion was not all that big and he was at enough distance not to be caught in it at the time. That being said, with the clone dispelled it was not clear that it was the original still in the mist, who was being targeted by the phoenix fires. The attack planned seemed quite a tricky one and worth the effort to Naoki, although he doubted he could have stopped it and used the fires for anything else. He had reached the limit of the control over them as it was not indefinite. And so they exploded inside the mist, the sound being heard even without sensory and the small waves on water reaching the beach a few seconds later. But none of those details really mattered - right before the explosion, or maybe even during it, Kaede disappeared. Now, Naoki was pretty sure the flames did not engulf him nor the blast did break him, so where was he? The answer to that did not elude him for long. However, it came with a bonus to it - as soon as Naoki's sensory picked up the leader's new position, which was not too far from where they previously stood when they were talking, he felt sharp pain. The chains it seems were used again, this time more than one for each of them. Trying to understand what transpired, the Jounin saw four chains stuck to the ground behind him, all four appeared to have bruised him, tearing bits of his clothing and leaving small wounds. What was shocking is that every single one of them could have been lethal and there was nothing he could have done to help it.

The fight was completely one sided and Naoki's ally was not all that much of a help. There was a chance he might actually do something soon, but the Uchiha did not expect much, his sensory telling him that the Senju had even lower chakra levels than himself. So basically, it was all him against the leader and he was just useless. That last move, no matter how smart executed, was basically all he could do in this fight as there was no chance he could even get close to apply a seal with all these chains. It seemed that while he was giving it his all, Kaede was merely playing with them, randomly shooting chains, a single of which would be enough to kill them. If this was the strength of those in power around the world, then maybe he was not ready, maybe this was as far as he could go, as far as he was capable of going, as far as his destiny allowed. Dark and depressive thought like that were swirling in Naoki's head when the change accured. A new step, a second chamber of his blood's potential unlocked. Almost willing to give up Naoki felt it. His eyes shifting - a second tomoe appearing. With the change came the confidence - maybe not all was lost, maybe he did not have to defeat the leader to win this fight and maybe his ally will come through after all. There were ways to pursue.

Naoki would now see the chakra flowing through the chains, as they were not immediately dispersed he got this chance that he did not get the first time. It was clear that the ability was immensely powerful and that he was doomed at range. There was only one thing he could try up close and it was something Naoki was willing to attempt. Grabbing one of the chains he would pull it towards himself, seeing as they were still connected to the leader, with it pulling the man as well, the man who was facing the other way and could not perceive this move, hopefully throwing him out of balance. Regardless of it would have the effect desired, the next thing Naoki would do, with his sharingan locked on his target, he would fold his hands into a single seal activating one of the most basic techniques - the body flicker. Going at the speed hardly even in Kaede's tracking range, he would appear immediately behind the - hopefully staggered - man while not losing the momentum gained, thrusting his right hand forth with five purple flames engulfing his fingers, each with a tiny symbol on them. Were this attack to connect, the seal would be inscribed on the man's skin, sealing his chakra, resulting in him losing consciousness.

[Unlocked 2nd Tomoe Sharingan]

Even if it  was a pretty powerful  fire jutsu , he wondered  if that would work  or not. The leader would surely  have  a way  to defend against  the jutsu, so seconds after  the fireballs entered  the mist,Shinto perfomed two hand  seals, and quickly after that  used a jutsu  which the boy always  considered that was necesarry  as a defensive move, and as a precaution move, especially  now , in such  a situation where nothing  wasn't sure and   when Kaede  could easily use  a sneaky attack  against  them  or the bloodline  of the Uzumaki Clan. They were fighting against a formidable opponent,one who deserved to be the leader of this village,but also one from a great clan,so Shinto thought thay maybe he was going to use fuuinjutsu at some moment or later,as this was the speciality of the Uzumaki Clan.Even if he was from the Senju Clan,still he didn't had the Wood Release so unfortunately he couldn't be a great help for Naoki only with water and earth jutsu.  
It seems that  the boy took the right decision to use this defensive jutsu,as Kaede soon attacked them with the kekkei genkai of the Uzumaki Clan. The Young Senju  could sense   with the help of this ability the chakra chains  entering the earth where his original position  was, seconds after , he got scared a little thinking at the precision , with which the chains where used. The leader was so good that he even managed  to send the chains to the boy's original location so  Shinto was thinking that Kaede maybe had a sensory ability too . If the jounin wouldn't have used  this technique, there would have been  small chances to avoid the chains  , after that the jounin decided to help  Naoki so he was back on the field  looking at the chains  not believing that they didn't dissapeared  immediately. Shinto was thinking  that the range and the speed  of the chains was probably higher than his speed, maybe he could have been hit by Kaede's kekkei genkai even if he  would have used  the body flicker technique.Seeing the location from where the chains came from,he now knew exactly the leader's position,but it seems that Naoki already tried to attack the leader,watching the young man performing the body flicker technique.
Shinto immediately started running thinking at Naoki,his ally, he wanted to be useful  and was sure that soon he will have the occasion,so the boy continued to run having in mind a jutsu that he was going to use,he had to prove himself worthy no matter what,for  Naoki and Kaede,even if he succesfuly escaped from two attacks,if he didn't even attacked,it wasn't something important. All this time managed to have care of himself in this village,Shinto did missions succesful but now he couldn't attack the leader,all he did was to defended,he wondered why he was so useless,it was the first time this happened.After leaving Funka and coming to Shima he was never so useless feeling like a garbage.

Kaede took a moment to think on how this fight would have gone if his opponent's were on the same level as he was in terms on strength. He came to the conclusion that he may have lost quite some time ago. Though then again, he wasn't quite sure if his chains would of ended the fight instantly even if the opponent were equal to him. Perhaps given time he would be able to find out. Although perhaps right now was not the best time to be thinking about such a thing. It was not the best time simply because of the fact that the following moments could decide if he would actually lose this fight or not. Now Kaede wasn't exactly in the mood for losing, so when he felt his body moving against his will. He understood quite quickly what had happened, and inwardly applauded the use of such a tactic. Kaede found himself being tugged the chain on his left shoulder blade. Against his will his upper body was pulled back and to the left. On instinct the chains were detached and dissolved away into nothing. His legs were struggling to not fly out from underneath him and send him falling to the ground as his hands moved rapidly. It was around this time that the one who had done this, that being Naoki of course sporting a strange addition to his red eyes, appeared to where his back had previously been it now being his left side. From the corner of his vision he noted the right hand of the man moving out from the hand seal and moving forward towards him. Now if Kaede's hands had been any further away from each other then the fight would have ended in that moment. It was almost by sheer luck that the blonde's hands had been moving across to the left in order to balance himself. Of course that plan had gone out the window the moment the man had appeared so close to him. Instead they were clasped together almost instantaneously to form a seal identical to Naoki's. And it was for that reason that the right hand of Naoki went through nothing but air. Kaede having Body Flickered a good thirty or so away. Though given the angle he had been traveling at during all of this he obviously fell to the ground after the end of the jutsu. Momentum sent him rolling forward across the sand before he moved himself into a standing position, somehow attempting to make the movement seem fluent and graceful enough to try and make it seem like he had somehow planned all of that. He spun himself around to face the two opponent's. It was at that time that he took note of how the other one had yet to actually do anything during the battle, expect for seemingly avoiding his chakra chains. Kaede took a moment to rest himself, and also to give another opportunity for the two to go on the offensive. After all, he did not want the fight to end so soon. So it was better for him to play defensive for a bit.

Approving Naoki's Sharingan awakening, sorry for the delay.

Naoki's eyes widened as his sharingan saw clearly into the man's next move. The chakra surging, the hand seal, there was only one thing he intended to do, but unfortunately there was nothing the Uchiha could do about it at this time. The technique would activate right before his palm hit the man's back and with a blur Kaede would disappear, Naoki's hand thrusting through an empty space before stopping, the purple flames going out, while his eyes shifted to the man's new position. Seeing the leader land in that fashion suggested he was close this time, real close. Unfortunately he had exhausted the number of tricks he had at the time and using the same moves again was not the best of ideas, especially when they were unsuccessful in the first place. Stopping, bringing his hands to his sides, while turning to face Kaede again, Naoki noticed the man was not counter attacking. Not having a plan, the handsome in black shirt was not going to attack either. The fight so far, while not extremely tiring as slowly catching its toll. The Uchiha theorized he could fight about three times longer, but with this stand off of sorts, it did not hurt to catch a breather. Maybe the other guy will take this chance to do something finally. Not really the guy to assign blames, especially at this situation, Naoki did however note that the Senju did not really do anything in this fight, except taking a hit and avoiding a second one. He also noted that the guy was nowhere on sight, although he could pinpoint the guy's location through chakra - which was underground. Naoki's eyes would not give away Shinto's position. Instead, during his short breather, a single kunai would appear in his right hand, as his eyes were scanning the field for something he could use. There were still plays to play.

It was not  the moment to  stay and rest , but since they  were  given the  occasion to do  so ,he was going to  rest a little only  for a couple of 3 minutes , taking advantage of  this time to  think at a solution.  Something that he  could  use for  their  advantage since  the leader  was still fighting , and even with  this break it  was not sure  if they will  win this fight  or not. He wanted to  catch his breath  and rest  for another   2 minutes , but since he   didn't did nothing during the fight with the exception of avoid  two times the  chains  it was now  Shinto's turn to take an active  role. So the boy performed two  hand seals  and used  a second time the same jutsu  that he used to avoid the chakra  chains   moving in the  underground toward the enemy.The young Senju  was moving in the underground  with this jutsu sensing the  location where Kaede was, after  that in a few minutes, Shinto  With the help of this jutsu was  on the ground at only 10 meters  behind the leader.  Immediately as  he was on the ground Shinto  started performing the jutsu  seals still knowing that even if  it was a good jutsu it took too many seals to be activated and  In order to use it he also needed a water source and a pretty good chakra amount , also Kaede  could track the Senju's location  all this time and easily  avoid or attack Shinto while he was busy with making the seals,but it was effective now since they were near  a water source. In 3  minutes because  of the number of seals that had to be done, Shinto activated this  jutsu creating a water dragon  which was going toward  Kaede's original location  hoping that it will not miss it's target, after that using again  the earth jutsu to hide himself  in the earth and in the  meantime while the dragon  would go and hit or not hit  Kaede depending on what the boy will do, Shinto will walk back  toward the other jounin's  position. Until now Shinto only took part of the fight without doing something for the advantage of this team,the boy's ally was stronger than him,still he was hoping that they would not be defeated in the worst way possible just with one attack at the right time that none of them wouldn't be able to defend against.

Kaede resisted the urge to have his palm have a meeting with a forehead. It seemed the two of them had taken his non-offensive time as a signal to have a break. Of course as the seconds ticked by Kaede found himself to become quite irritated. Did they think that he had the patience to wait nicely for the two of them? Unfortunately he did not possess such a thing. He decided to move when the one still above the earth, Naoki, had his eyes moving around. Kaede wasn't really sure what he jounin was looking for, he himself did not see much on this beach in terms of things to use. And unless the man possessed some magical trick in which he could manipulate either sand or deck chairs then nothing here would really aid him. He didn't care much for the one underground at this time, if he did something interesting within the next hour or so then he would most likely be impressed. Kaede dashed forward, chakra pooling around his feet in order to prevent himself being slowed or tripping when running across the sand. He ran forward towards Naoki, who now held within his hand a kunai. Kaede didn't care much about the weapon, he hadn't used something like that in quite a while himself. Going against his better judgement he decided that he would engage in taijutsu. While not an expert in the matter he believed that he was superior to both of them physically. Of course if he found that he was incorrect, then he'd fall back to using his bloodline in order to save his ass. For now he swung his right leg forward, aiming to kick into the side of the lower left leg of Naoki. Chakra was still pooled around his left foot in order to keep him for losing balance and he took note of the sound of water crashing somewhere behind him. He didn't bother to turn and look around however, because he honestly didn't care.
