The Fox and The Raven (Navi vs. Echo)

Wind swirls upwards underneath the desk and with ease it's tossed behind Echo who growls in a feral manner "I've never been one to do what's expected, the Echo answer is me TEARING YOUR HEAD OFF!!!!" he roars out the door behind them being blocked by the desk papers being scattered around as Echo's anger vents itself out through the wind currents that surround him like a maelstrom of power...before all goes still..Echo chuckles before his stance straightens, his body tensed to react to the Hokage his arms spread out in an arrogant manner welcoming a strike his clawed fingers curled inwards threateningly..the challenge made clear...if he catches Navi it's over.
The Demon Lord speaks "Come at me Mongrel.." He states his grin widening.

Navi watches as his desk is tossed away, the large piece of furniture obstructing Echo's vision for just a moment before he uses his wind ability to throw it over his head and behind him. During that exact moment of obstruction a flash of chakra occurs, a pen falling into the grasp of his left hand that was almost entirely similar to him. Masking the appearance of a pen, a small burst of chakra would allow for a tiny seal to form on the writing utensil. 

A cloud of papers and office materials blow about the room, most of them settling on the ground about now. He maneuvers his thumb to click the pen, allowing for the point to show. Echo was stronger then him, he would undoubtedly be at an extreme disadvantage if the man got a hold of him. His mind begins to race, analyzing possible angles of attack, his dojutsu calculating outcomes and the specs of his opponent. 

"The offer is still open if you want to write a quick apology."

Time begins to slow down for him, the soothing feel of adrenaline allowing for a calmness before the impending chaos. The pen leaves his grasp, tossed at Echo's center with a slight spin.

Echo's eyes narrow at the pen being thrown at him the sharingan taking in the presence of the pen..yeah...No.
A swirling omnidirectional blast of wind chakra blasts from Echo's form, Echo in his subconscious knows he does not wish to hurt Navi too badly, and as the pen along with the papers are manipulated to blast upwards through the gigantic hole in the roof the wind merely swirls around the frame of the Hokage, not harming him in the least, the wind is pushed slightly away from Echo's frame to prevent any outside shrapnel or force from harming him too badly as he redirects it upwards.

The gale is thick and would create gusts that would make it hard to focus with ones eyes..unless someone were to wear goggles or other such eyewear like Echo does.

The winds die down and Echo begins stepping towards Navi with purpose, his shoulders are arched back and his frame is straight his arms are tensed and his steps seem to cause small ripples of chakra to course through the ground, his mouth is set in a thin line, his displeasure being made unknown as he merely walks towards, in his mind this is merely teaching him a lesson in respect.

Unfortunately he didn't entirely take the bait, the pen being about half a meter away from Echo before wind chakra began to manifest itself. Just before the undercurrents of wind move to manipulate the pen upwards, it would explode, a concentrated detonation that would set off a deafening blast. Navi himself would immediately travel out a back window and appear on an adjacent building's rooftop, the blur of his motion happening at an incredible speed. 

His office would undoubtedly be in horrible damage, smoking heavily upon the intensity of such an explosion being unleashed. Fortunately Navi was not inside the radius when it went off, but he did evacuate the room in case of debris or possible shrapnel. Should the wind blast continue then much of the smoke and debris would end up flying out the window shortly after, amplifying the clear signal that a battle had broken out. 

His dojutsu gaze peers through the smoke, his position about twenty meters away from the back window of the room. There were very few ninja that could have survived such a powerful concentrated blast. The attack would have been entirely unexpected, and even with instantaneous reaction time Echo's unrivaled wind manipulation wouldn't be able to dampen the effects of the attack to a very high degree. It was likely that he had dealt severe damage to the man, but severe damage might as well have been a papercut. With Kyuubi regeneration such wounds were only a hinderance, this ability being one that Navi had yet to witness in combat.

Echo's frame is buffeted and searing heat hits him, singing his clothes slightly burning his skin cracking ribs, his frame only sliding back slightly cracking ribs before the wind cushions him.

He doesn't react for a few moments before he growls and red chakra heals his marred skin, the burnt flesh being repaired and his ribs mending rather quickly.
He bursts from the window a moment later wind spiralling around his frame as he flies towards the Hokage his left palm being thrust towards his position, four concussive balls of wind being sent towards his position, the balls of wind are about four feet in diameter in size and when striking the area they explode with the force of Echo's current chakra stat in a ten foot diameter, the balls are focused in a five foot radius of Navi and his position the ball constructs about three feet apart from each other in a circle formation.

Echo continues his upward flight and pauses twenty feet above the Kage building his eyes searching, Twentieth rule of Echo's Ninja handbook, never assume your last blow was the killing blow, Echo's eyes were also watching for Navi in the blast radius, but he's assuming the Kage will dodge.

Navi peers through the smoke to see the Echo's figure with his activated dojutsu gaze. Some damage to his clothing and equipment seemed to be sustained, and immense damage to his center. Within a fairly short time a flash of red chakra is exhibited, healing the wounds and burned skin. The chakra cost was considerable, but the amount of energy in his possession was also massive. At the expenditure of a portion of energy, the Kyuubi granted Echo regeneration powers greater then Navi had expected. It would seem his plan would have to alter slightly, this was a greater foe then predicted. 

Two ANBU guards blur into position next to Navi on the rooftop, each crouched with their hands ready to draw the swords from their backs. 

"Lord Hokage..."

Without looking Navi interrupts him. 

"Leave us lieutenant. Evacuate the civilians and don't interfere."

After a pause the trembling operative takes a deep breath, attempting to peer in the thick smoke within the office. 

"Yessir, right away"

He couldn't expect his ANBU operatives to fight their captain, this was a feud that would strike fear in the hearts of Gods. 

"Besides, you'd only get in my way..." Navi says under his breath, his attention turning back to the ominous dark smoke. A moment later his Uchiha opponent bursts from the smoke, building chakra and beginning a counter attack. Navi's form blurs with incredible speed just as the projectiles are released, causing massive damage to the spot he recently was. The building shudders at the raw power of the attack, rubble crumbling into the street as civilians begin to scream and scatter. 

His new position leaves him unharmed on the tip of a tall antenna sticking out of the roof of a building. His stance leaves him level with Echo, the man sailing in the air due to his wind manipulation abilities. A small chakra thread bursts from his fingertip and wraps around the loop of the kunai in his right hand, a tool for manipulation should he need it. 

With his left hand he forms a handsign his eyes glowing brightly as they open widely and lock with that of the Kyuubi Jinchuriki's. A moment later a plume of brilliant blue chakra erupts from his form, surrounding him with a cloak of immense power. Two divine angel wings sprout from his back, a glorious shine being emitted as the atmosphere around him becomes dense and thick with energy. 


"I, Navi Yamaki, Guardian of the Fire Nation and Protector of Konoha, hereby sentence you to die."


His voice resounds with the influence of the demon within him, his energy level escalating uncontrollably each moment that passes by. In a blur of motion the hellfire kunai is thrown towards Echo's neck, the blade glowing with concentrated levels of elemental chakra and being launched forth at unbelievable speeds. As the weapon travels forth, his right hand reaches towards his back to grab the hilt of the Master Sword, the only blade he knows of in existence that could rival "Nightmare". His grasp firmly grips the hilt of the heavy blade, solemnly preparing to draw the Legendary weapon.

Echo turns his gaze towards the Nanabi Jinchuuriki as he blurs into position, he notes the fleeing ANBU and scoffs, this is what he's talking about...He trained them better then this, ANBU Directive #1...Weak fools.
He watches Navi intently his right hand blurring as it takes the shape of a knife, the perfect assassination technique, he hears Navi's words and his smirk returns "You can't kill what I am Little Raven, The Demons power fuels me, the Will of Fire drives me...You shall not prevail." He states his tone filled with conviction, the fight burning alot of the Kyuubi's influence away, however the power and Echo's own anger is enough for the Kyuubi to dull his sense of reasoning enough that he wants the fight to continue.
His left hand swipes upwards as the Kunai begins it's movement towards him a flash of light summoning the brother of Nightmare, the Dojutsu killer...the blade known as 'Caliburn'.
The upwards diagnol slash is aimed to where it will knock the kunai away, the edges of Caliburn being slightly damaged causing Echo's eyes to widen and his mouth to form into an enraged snarl the wind surrounding his frame swirling and forming around him in several dense layers leaving only his right blurred hand visible as he veers left and attempts to flank the Hokage in a circular path wind blades flying for the antenna as he blurs to the left and continue flying towards Navi's position. "MAIM!! KILL BURN!!!" is shouted from Echo's mouth, but not of his own will, the Kyuubi cackles in the back of the Jinchuuriki's head uncaring as several wind blades strike out as buildings surrounding the Kage office.

Survival, battle instincts and pure rage are all that remain in Echo's mind currently Caliburn vanishing in another gleam of light just as he closes the distance with the Yamaki clan head and swings towards him with his blurred right hand the swipe aimed to go across his chest from left hip to right shoulder.

Upon eye contact a burst of Navi's chakra is cast, a single chakra stabilizing seal breaking as Echo's fury projects for his next attack. As the flash of light fades marking the blade Caliburn being summoned forth, this event punctuated by the manipulated trajectory of the incoming kunai. With the motions of his right fingers, the chakra thread is used to alter the path of the weapon slightly. Unfortunately this movement wasn't enough, as with a powerful slash of Caliburn the projectile is knocked off course. The weapon hurls past the Kyuubi jinchuriki's head, the durable thread coming to rest taut on the man's shoulder with the weapon dangling harmlessly in the air should all motions proceed as expected. The weapon still glows with the chakra concentrated within it, but begins to die down now that it has been effectively knocked away from the fight. 

With narrowed eyes that would lock with the Uchiha's the man pulls forth the glorious master sword to rearm himself. At this precise moment he takes flight, the angel wings launching him upwards to dodge the hail of attacks that come to cause heavy damage to the antenna and buildings below. Navi's opponent doesn't falter for a moment, continuing the attack not a moment after desummoning the Caliburn blade. His right hand glows with a strange blur of concentrated chakra, an attack he doesn't want to clash with unless he has to. Navi's wings launch him backwards for a quick dodge, narrowly avoiding Echo's powerful swipe. Only a five meter gap exists between the two jinchuriki as they fly through the air. 

In his right hand shines the brilliant blade, the master sword preparing to clash with the demon fox if his furious attack continues. With a swift motion his right hand palms forward, a massive cone of flames being pushed forward in an attempt to consume the man in fire. The blast travels ten meters, consuming a wide area in front of him. Should the demon fox push forth through the searing attack, the young Yamaki would likely be forced to clash with him. Knowing this possibility, the master sword activates, the blade glowing and emitting a blurry chakra that surrounds the edges of the weapon.

The wave of flames causes Echo's snarl to morph into a grin, a plan forming in his head, he flies straight into the giant wall of flames wind chakra condensing and spiraling around his frame before stretching outwards like a cone hiding Echo's frame from view from the harsh gale force winds which create a vacuum sucking in the flames and empowering them further, with this done the wind drill expands away from Echo's frame ten feet ahead of him and fifteen feet away from his frame but still surrounding him the wind constantly pushing and pulling the flames away from his frame and strengthening them with the combined power of Echo's wind and Navi's fire, he then allows his left fist to surge forward as he reaches a decent two meters away and blasts the drill of fire and wind right towards Navi, manipulating the wind in spirals to force the currently bright white flames to take the shape of a snarling fox head which opens it's maw wide in a bid to devour the Raven, Echo being obscured from view by the large fire construct at least ten meters in size.

Their eyes had met, a burst of chakra utilized and the destruction of a chakra stabilizing seal following it. A blend of Nanabi and Raven Style chakra begins to manifest itself and combine, the battle continuing as adrenaline shoots through his veins. 

"the durable thread coming to rest taut on the man's shoulder" 

In an instant the thread turned razor sharp, the shi no tenshi string slicing through the man's flesh like butter as it is manipulated to slice through Echo's body. In a diagonal slice his arm and lower half are ripped off, the gore pouring down from the sky. In the next instant the wire curves upwards, slicing the thread on a dangling necklace and damaging the mantle. The damage inflicted would be easily repairable with little issue, but it rendered the equipment currently unusable. With the same curve the thread finishes its "U" shape, lopping off the other arm and leaving his opponent limbless. Should all go as expected this would incapacitate the man before his blurred hand swipe occurred, leaving no reason for the fire attack to be performed. 

Now this would surely kill any man... except for Echo Uchiha. It would seem they didn't call him Echo the Invincible for nothing. Regenerating would take some time however, and Navi would still have to be wary of the young Uchiha's incredible power. He floated with his wings unabated maneuvering from projectile danger if necessary, realizing he would have a small window to capitalize on this advantage. He would attempt to catch the body now, having one thread already wrapped around, dozens of others sprouted forth to grab a hold of the Kyuubi Jinchuriki.
