The Cataclysm (Navi vs. Echo)

Navi blinked a few times, glancing side to side quickly with a confused gaze. The Hokage's wings keeping him afloat  in the air over a massive mountainous range. His dojutsu gaze observed the area around them quickly, geographically he seemed to be hovering near some sort of dormant volcano. If he had to guess they were somewhere in the past, given the state of the vegetation around them which only seemed vaguely familiar. 

In his left hand he held the two kunai from before, and in his right hand he held the master sword, currently in a powered down state. Something about their clash had torn a hole in space and time, dragging him through a warp hole into this strange area. 

...Where was Echo?

Echo Uchiha the self-proclaimed 'Best Shinobi in the World.' and jinchuuriki of the Kyuubi no Kitsune...is currently holding a traveling Shinobi up by his collar with his right hand while punching him with his left screaming audibly underneath his Hokage "WHERE AM I!!?" Punch "WHERE AM I!!!?" Punch "WHERE AAAAAM IIII!!!!!!???" He finishes with a headbutt the man screaming his location in fear before Echo blinks glances around and states "LIAR!" As he does not recognize the area before punching him again breaking his nose.

Navi floats down a small distance before landing gently a few meters away. He didn't recognize the man, and given the state of the vegetation it had to be sometime in the past. There was no use asking the citizens what year they were in, he doubted any of them would listen to such crazy talk. Especially with Echo screaming and punching them in the face, it was doubtful that any useful information could be extracted from these locals. 

"Stop tormenting the poor man," Navi called out in a somewhat bored tone. He didn't feel much sympathy, but he was also wary that any actions performed here could greatly change the future. He would have to be very careful that they didn't do anything drastic. Hopefully Echo also wouldn't act rashly either....

Oh god the world was doomed.

Echo blinks as Navi speaks turning his head towards him and nodding in acceptance "Okay." He states before red erupts from his left palm and it shoots forward spreading outwards and engulfing the man in beams of black colorized energy which completely incinerate the man.
He hums in thought glancing around "Any idea where we are?" He asks calmly taking in the situation while sliding his hands into the pockets of his jeans.

Navi blinked a few more times, watching the man be immediately incinerated in the blink of an eye. Strings erupted from the tips of each finger of his right hand, curling around to allow him to manipulate threads while still gripping the master sword firmly. The threads flew forth, attempting to grab the man by his arms and legs and restrain him. Not even a full minute had passed and Echo had murdered somebody. They couldn't afford to hurt anything else in this timeline, it could ruin everything in the world as they knew it. 

He had to stop Echo by any means necessary, even if it meant killing him.

Echo spies the threads erupting from Navi's finger and makes an exaggerated "YIPE!" Sound before dashing away at top speed picking his knee's up with his hands extended as he runs in a very comical manner screaming "NOPE! NOPE! NOPE NOPE!" Away from his Hokage before he can capture him leaving a large dust trail in his wake...he's obviously mocking Navi at this point...considering the wide grin on his face as he dashes off.

"SHIT! GET BACK HERE!"

Navi's feet lunge forward as he sprints afterwards, his wings granting him a burst of speed as he follows in hot pursuit. They weren't anywhere near civilization yet, so at least he had a bit of a buffer time before things got too out of control. Hopefully they wouldn't run into any other travelers, murdering a single person could mean the loss of an entire village in the future. 

Now he was gaining on Echo his strings reaching forward to wrap around the man's ankles before he escaped much further.

Echo hops upwards as the strings almost reach him his legs spreading and curving his back becoming straight and his fists clenching in front of him bouncing up and down while mocking that he's riding a horse wind chakra keeping him afloat and he blasts forward once more. "GIDDY UP JOHNNY!!!" He shouts as he flies off in the distance through a village.

More of Navi's chakra is summoned forth, pushing the man forward with immense speed as his muscles activate and strengthen to give an additional burst of speed. He needed to rely greatly on his speed advantage now, his body moving now in an untraceable blur. 

Nearly instantaneously he appears directly in front of the fleeing Uchiha, his left hand glowing with black chakra that shoots out to impact the man in the chest. As his fist is thrown forward, he holds both knives tightly by the hilt horizontally in his left hand. The current position of his knife allowing for the point to currently be positioned outwards away from both men.

As soon as the Hokage appears in front of the man the wind shoots him left his body turning afterwards the black chakra blasting into a few civilians behind him who were looking on curiously, a man screams and runs up to the blasted couple before a finger flies at high speed and stabs itself into the mans eye piercing his brain and killing him instantly.
Echo continues onward. "WOOP! WOOP! WOOP! WOOP!" He shouts as he rides off on his 'horse' looking to escape and find out just where the hell he was.
