Raziel's Genin Exams

Raziel walked through the halls of the academy, slowly but surely. He had woken up in a horrible mood that day, so he decided that it would be the best time to take the genin exams. Besides, he was tired of the academy holding him back, it was about time that ge became a genin and did something fun. He stepped into the room slowly before walking in front of the desk at which the proctor was sat.

"Can we get this over with fast?"

The door of the Classroom slid open the Instructor 'Tadamichi Kyousuke' a brown haired coal eyed young man with a lazy slightly bored look on his face steps in, He never really wanted to be a Shinobi but his Girlfriend ended up dragging him with her at a young age unfortunately she never made it and he graduated being forced into labor while his soon to be fiance was resting at home, the Teaching job was the best bet for him since he wanted to be a school teacher anyway....but teaching children forty ways to kill someone with a pimento was not exactly his kind of teaching.

He straightens up his posture slightly substituting for this classes teacher on their day of the graduation exam in order to remove suspicion of favoritism among the council "Raziel!! Your up!" he calls out lazily waiting for the Genin to stand and follow him before leading him into a room and stating clearly "Perform the Henge, and Bunshin Jutsu to pass, Good Luck!"

Raziel watched as a young man walked in, a rather uninterested look on his face. Heh, it was rather amusing to Raziel, that the man didn’t appear to take any interest in the exams. What a good match it was, Raziel who didn’t care much, just wanting to get this out of the way, and this man, who probably had the same approach. Raziel had seen him around the academy occasionally, but they had never spoken. He normally had a look on his face that conveyed boredom, but the expression which he chose to wear today was particularly not caring. Raziel stepped up to the front, bending down and bowing in front of the man, such was tradition. He got a look into the man’s eyes, the deep black eyes like black holes. They only added to his lazy face, the eyes of a person show a lot, but not in this case. First up would be the Henge no Jutsu, or the transformation technique. Easy enough really, Raziel had done it a few times at home to trick his parents. It was just a matter of moulding the chakra correctly really, once you had that down, it was reasonably easy to perform the jutsu.

Raziel took a deep breath in, preparing to perform the jutsu. He decided not to get too overconfident, if he failed he would be stuck in this dump for another year, and that would not be too fun at all. Ok, first step is to draw chakra, I need to to just the right amount. Not too much so that I overdo it, but not too little that I don’t have enough to perform the jutsu . Raziel put his fingers in a position similar to the hand seal of the rat. He reached within himself to find the two different kinds of energy needed for chakra. Physical energy first, that was the easiest, and then spiritual energy, the kind that some struggle with. Drawing chakra was all too easy for Raziel. Next up, mould the chakra. Raziel made the seals slowly, being careful not to mess them up. Sure, he had done this a million times, but mistakes can happen. Dog, Boar, Ram. Raziel was careful with each and every movement, performing the hand seals perfectly. He thought of the image in his head, and then let the rest fall into place. He looked at himself through the reflection of the mirror in class, perfect!

Raziel had transformed himself to look just like his proctor, it had gone extremely well. He bowed before the man, thanking him for observing before setting his mind on the next task. The Bunshin jutsu, or clone technique. This one was a similar concept to the Henge no jutsu, only slightly harder. This time, instead of changing his own image, he was to copy it in an exact version of himself. This isn’t however a physical copy, more of an illusion than anything. Raziel had never really had much trouble with the Bunshin no jutsu, but he never really picked it up as fast as he had got the henge no jutsu. He would have to be extra careful not to mess it up, one mistake could ruin it all. He ran through all the steps in his head, the hand seals, and the actual way of performing the technique. It was simple enough, really, nothing major in there. Still, he would need to do it flawlessly to impress the rather uninterested man sat at the desk. His face hadn’t even changed when Raziel had performed the technique, he just wrote some stuff down in his notepad.

Here we go. Raziel put his hands in the same position as before, to draw some chakra out. He did this slowly to make sure he didn’t mess it up, the amount of chakra that had to be drawn for the bunshin no jutsu was much more precise than the amount for the henge no jutsu. Ok, that was enough, now for the hand seals. Moulding the chakra was the most important part of the process, making the chakra into a form to do what you wish it to do. Ram, Snake Tiger, yet again, every movement that Raziel made was controlled and precise, making sure his hands moved in the exact way that he wanted them to. He envisioned himself cloning, willing the chakra to do his will. And it worked! He looked to the left to see an exact copy of himself standing there, he had performed the jutsu perfectly. He bowed yet again to the proctor, expressing his thanks. He smiled, not that anyone would see it under his curtain of hair. After all that Raziel had been through, he would finally graduate the academy, and move on to be a genin. “Ninja world, here I come!”
