The Mask [p]

The spar was long but Viper seen what he had to see, the boy was gifted, no doubt about that, he would need some training how ever to face the hardships ahead, nothing he couoldent pick up while during his time in the Anbu Black Ops, Viper waits for him to arrive, he has called for his brother the captain of the Anbu Black Ops whom he has instructed to take him under his wing.

In a swirl the image of the ANBU Captain Kitsune appears in the left back corner, his form is imposing his cloak making it appear as if he's shrouded in nothing but blackness the image of a snarling kitsune painted red along the strengthened porcelain mask, he gives the Hokage a nod of greeting before leaning back against the wall the cloak of his making him almost disappear from view save for the intimidating image of the kitsune.

Navi entered the room with an exhausted body but a strong heart. There was nothing more intimidating then a fight against Viper, but nothing more exciting then joining the Anbu Black Ops. As he walked forward towards the Hokage's desk he saw a porcelain mask out of the corner of his eye, portraying an intimidating image of the kitsune. It would have to be none other then the famous captain of the Anbu Black Ops: Echo Uchiha. Navi took a deep breath and bowed his head slightly as a sign of respect. He had shown his talent and loyalty, and was now an accepted member of the Anbu Black Ops.

Kitsune pushes off of the wall and walks in front of the desk, his voice cuts through the silence suddenly as cool as ice a voice young but brimming with authority his left hand suddenly flinging a mask from the confines of his cloak to land at the feet of his new recruit, there staring up at him is the image of a ferret.

"ANBU Directive #6: An ANBU must never reveal their idenity to anyone, once you dawn the mask of an ANBU, you are no longer considered a Shinobi but the Hokage's Sword and Shield ready to strike or defend at a moments notice." he says waiting for the newly appointed ANBU to take in the meaning of his words before speaking again and gesturing for him to put the mask on "Welcome to the Undertaker Squad, ANBU operative Ferret." he says a little amusement leaking into his tone.

Viper rests his elbows upon the desk, his fingers curling over one another as his sharingan eyes observe him, his garb being back to the Hokage uniform, he smiles lightly, "Welcome to the Anbu Black Ops, Ferret." Viper says proudly hearing his brothers words.

Navi picked up his mask off the ground. It was a simple looking porcelain mask, although slightly resembled a ferret.

"ANBU Directive #6: An ANBU must never reveal their idenity to anyone, once you dawn the mask of an ANBU, you are no longer considered a Shinobi but the Hokage's Sword and Shield ready to strike or defend at a moments notice." Navi didn't say anything as he listened carefully to each word his captain said. He stared into the eyes of his new mask. The Anbu barracks would probably be able to provide him with a cloak and new fitted mask that more suited his style and face for a small fee. Even so, this was his recruit mask, and he would need to wear it for the time being.

"Welcome to the Undertaker Squad, ANBU operative Ferret." Navi thought he heard a small level of amusement in Echo's voice. Navi nodded solemnly, continuing to be silent and gripped his new mask firmly. Undertaker squad... so like a tracker ninja responsible for disposing of rogue ninja bodies. Navi decided now was not the time to ask about specifics. Instead he placed the mask on his face and accepted his new place in the Anbu ranks.

Viper nods softly as Navi accepts the mask, "Now if you two excuse me I have a lot of paper work to do, taking a break for our spar put me behind. " He sighs at this as the stacks of papers from before has tripled in size, he grabs one of the papers and begins looking over it assuming they leave when asked.

Echo nodded at the boy's acceptance "We'll get you a regulation mask a bit later" he says before turning his head back to the window his right hand sliding up to his shoulder chakra flashing through it as two ANBU operatives appear at the window in crouched positions their heads bowed as they await orders, the two are Kitsune's personal assistants, the Female with the Parrot mask is one of ANBU's greatest medics, while the broad shouldered male with the Boar mask is of the few who practice the art of sealing with great proficiency "These two will escort you to the barracks....which are to remain secret along with your identity, am I understood Ferret?" He says Parrot and Boar sharing a quick glance but don't say anything as the ANBU Captain speaks the underlying threat of the punishment for this is of course immediate execution but he won't outright state it...that's not how ANBU does things ANBU 'Look underneath the underneath' he listens to his brother's dismissal and nods towards the window before vanishing in a swirl Parrot and Boar gesturing for 'Ferret' to follow before vanishing in a shunshin.

[EXIT]

Two Anbu operatives appeared in the window, startling Navi for a moment. Fortunately his face wouldn't betray emotion with his recruit mask on. "These two will escort you to the barracks....which are to remain secret along with your identity, am I understood Ferret?" Navi nodded obediently to Echo, accepting his first order as an ANBU operative. As the Hokage dismissed them Navi performed a shunshin and followed his new comrades, Parrot and Boar, to begin his new life in the Black Ops.
