One must bring himself to their knees

Mission Details:

When the storm has blown over, when dawn pours soft, cleansing light onto the Uchiha district below, Kagu wakes to a world made new by rain. Yet despite all the turmoil of yesterday, in the morning, it always feels like a fresh new day. Conscious of the necessity to keep his balance in this equation of duties, Kagu flexes into the first round of morning rituals. 

Kagu begins with an assortment of physical stretches and taijutsu forms that warm his body up but help to connect his physical state with his mental one. And yet his every movement seems so precise and mindful that the entire effect is to build up my power and focus slowly. And thus that physical exercise. Good for keeping him if not at peak flightiness, then close, but the discipline and control inherent to such exercises are critical elements of a leader's responsibilities.

After all his morning rituals are done, Kagu is finally awake—awake and centered to tackle the day head-on with a fresh brew of energy and clarity. However, these rituals are not really just patterns. They have a unique meaning and value, representing the values of Uchiha’s ideology and traditions.

Once Kagu has done his morning rituals, he steps outside to see the damage the storm had brought and what was needed for this day. On seeing that the Uchiha Community Center, at its core a venue for community meetings and events as well as training areas, needs some TLC, he decides to spend his day getting things in order along with some good old-fashioned clean up. 

The Community Center, which had become a place of refuge and communication during the storm, bears clear markings of its use—in the mud caked all over the floors; vases upset on tables or turned over entirely, wear from millions transitioning through in search of clan members. The online marketplace Kagu quickly realized an open and clean community space as a prerequisite for all possible activities.

Kagu started by collecting volunteers among the clan. The leader then spoke to the group, laying out what they would be doing that day and giving each person a set of jobs to ensure every area was picked up. These were quickly corrected under the leadership of an inspired few, and they became community tasks—not just to repair, renovate, and refurbish the compound but also to strengthen Uchiha ties through collective effort.

As supplies are rounded up — brooms, mops, cloths, buckets, or tubs to hold disinfected rags as they clean surfaces in the Sunshine Room- the group splits into teams working on different ends of the center. Kagu, by example, also undertakes more manual tasks himself. He goes to the main hall, where his broom is in one hand, sweeping all debris and mops with water on his flooring nonstop.

Kagu inspects the building while giving him time to work and prepare in case something is broken by the storm. Before he goes to bed, he checks his windows and doors — even the roof, making sure everything is closed up tight and working properly. For the few places requiring minor repairs, he makes a mental note to have them done after everything has been cleaned and organized, intending to task some of those with repair skills in their clan.
