Marilee was processing some of the news and information that Marabelle left with her. She had a task once she got back to Hoshigakure and knew that it was likely going to be a difficult thing to process and work around but it was what it was and she accepted the mission granted to her by her younger sister, help establish a base of refuge and record keeping. To bring the world together and find a common thread would require working together with the villages and she was planning to work within one herself for as long as time permitted. The older vagabond was not one of medicine however and the blade they needed to possess to properly defend themselves in the lands where confusion and banditry exist. It was on such a day when she departed from her sister that a confusing situation came to fruition, a theft occurred.

The prime suspect ended up being Marilee herself as she bolted forward outside of the small hamlet that they had traveled to as she left Marabelle behind. There was something amiss and wrong now and she could tell. The issue being present was that she had pursuers coming after her. She ignored their cries and pleas to stop as she was innocent and was aware that some of these denizens were not the kindest to those they suspected to be thieves in the middle of the day. She rolled her eyes before forming a handseal with one hand and then a second with her other. The showcase of skill and prowess she possessed would be a baffling occurrence to those watching if they were not seeking to capture her. She dismissed this thought as a veil of smoke was conjured obscuring the vision of her assailants as she trudged forward.

A clone of herself veered off into the woods toward the land put aside for Tachibana Wildlife Reserve. Disguised using the transformation technique, Marilee took on her sister's guise in hopes that it was enough to pull some wool over the eyes of the wolves that voraciously ran after her. Though her mannerisms were not the same there was plenty to work on as the clone route and attempt being done in the middle of a road proved faulty and did not do much other than put her sister's name in some degree of mud. Dismissing the technique she cursed at herself looking towards her intended destination, Hoshigakure no Sato. Her home as an adult would be the place she needed to get to but the travel itself needed to have her pursuers thrown off the trail first before she could properly reenter to carry out the rest of the task her sister gave her.

A light sigh came forth from the older woman as she shifted her path into the woods for real this time before the yells and shouts could be drowned out by the whistling of the winds through the leaves of the trees. Once she felt safe enough she used the clone technique again and hid off to the side in a brush to best keep herself silent and hidden. She needed to pull off a clean transition as the men from the hamlet passed her to be properly disguised for the next step of her objective. As the group passed her, she waited a moment before forming the seal for the transformation technique once more. This time she walked out as the gate guard she had spoken with as she left Hoshigakure. Surely with how burly she was now with Hoshigakure's symbol on her in this form, there should be a second guess as she moved back towards the road she was originally taking.

Once back on the road, Marilee under a new guise maintained a steady pace but one that was not too fast for the attention of others on the road. With mindful consideration, the plan in mind was heavy on the shoulders of the elder Blossom child as she walked. There were scuffles she could hear from the forest as the clone vanished by now and her disguise timer was beginning to run out. She still had quite a bit of a journey to worry about before the first checkpoint that would result in likely the individuals chasing her to back off and head home. The time so far had been a few hours of chase which to her was plenty of time to have caught the original thief if they did not intend to chase her. A sigh escaped as she saw the next settlement on the road on the horizon.

The change of pace to be back in the wheelhouse of action was something that she could feel her hands move to her hip where a blade would have been. The muscle memory was coming back as the transformation faded leaving the Blossom in her gi looking back towards the hamlet that was now beyond the horizon and gave a sigh, "Guess there is not the same merit in the world as there once was." She commented as a youth from the hamlet stumbled out of the shrubbery panting heavily before looking at Marilee who was steady. Her muscles engaged and reached for an invisible blade. She closed her eyes before sighing and standing back up.

"If you do not head back home now, nightfall will make your journey difficult." She declared to the youth who looked at her confused. "Why do you even care? You ran for hours." He said without an ounce of remorse for the phrasing of that. She simply shrugged her shoulders, "And you chased for hours without catching me." She said before continuing her journey onward. The youth looked between her and the road back home before hanging his head in defeat. Seeing her up close, there were no bags or luggage for her to have carried the item in question that was stolen. "What a bi-" he began and cut himself off before Marilee could hear the words he was going to say. He gulped before beginning his truck back home.
