Buttons and Bows

“Oh yeah, I do…”, his reply towards the bit of Yukio referencing the many ethereal rifts that spawned the beings of nightmares. Was it strange that it was all but a distant memory? It didn’t happen so long ago, yet reduced to an afterthought; like many other things.

As he listened, his head still resting on his anchored arm, he remain still as if he was petrified. His attention only focused on the Senju. What a story indeed, he thought.

Okisho was seen finishing his last Takoyaki, the taste seemed pretty bland. Most of his senses were still fixated on the Shinobi who told his story, an interesting bunch who stumbled upon quite the journey. It really could have been anyone, including team 212. To weave themselves into such a design that winds up exposing a large group a terrorist slowly chipping at the leaf.

The Viper Fang group was new to him, a group a Viper loyalist going around causing trouble was not something the Uchiha clan needed. Especially with the gentrification going on. He sighs upon learning more about this, such decline would only hasten the foreseeable final resting outcome of the Uchiha. It was a pity really, the problem was coming from within. His own people, bringing down the Uchiha. He grows silent, his mind forcefully focusing on the gentrification problem. He knew not why, he just couldn‘t help it really. The Viper Fangs wouldn‘t be the first to commit crimes against the leaf. But the flashbacks to his investigations kept connecting back to this Hachō Village.

Okisho was currently involved in an investigation within the Uchiha Districts. A few Uchiha, mostly tge old who bore no children, have been missing. But, periodically, the same missing people end up returning, with lapses in their memory and their property either sold or foreclosed. Along his works, Okisho found that they are being taken to a holding place outside of the village, but not too far. With this new information, Okisho, may in fact have made a break in the case. This Viper Fang group had all the motive to support the claim. What better way to take down a nation, then from within.

He gasp, Okisho lifted his head from his hand slowly. He quickly turns his form towards Yukio. His eyes narrow, “Yukio, this Hachō Village. You said it was along the borders, is it south? Near Tea country? Secluded, but very accessible by road?”, his grits his teeth. The chance of making a break in the ever so growing problem in the Uchiha District could change the direction of the clan; in a good way.

If it was indeed the village, Okisho would continue. “Are they still active? Did you happen to find any prisoners there? Mostly elderly?”, he leans in waiting for an answer.

After their Lunch, Okisho paid for both their meals and went on his way. He felt as if he was making progress with Yukio, impressing one of the family members would go a long way he thought. Now, with the little brother oit of the way, Okisho was free in the clear to persue Nokino, unless there was another sibling Yukio forgot to mention. Regardless, he‘d rather deal with that then find out about a crazy ex. If that was the case, he‘d return to Yukio in full force to deliver a beatin.

Now armed with a proper game plan, Okisho prepares for his date.
