After he creates the Grafted Living Weapon, as the progenitor of the living weapon, Morio sets out to create a fighting style to complement the new weapon. With his creation of Banishing Shift, Morio toiled with the idea of combining the two into an offensive form. Combining a form of weapon manipulation of the items and the requip plane, he created a tangible form of Banishing Shift that could be wielded to cut a swath through his enemies.

What it does:

The user channels their chakra through Grafted Living Weapon to create a bladed weapon that has to be a sword or sword-like that cannot exceed the given dimensions above. The sword, once made, cannot be changed from its current dimensions for the duration of the technique but can be changed per usage (i.e. Morio creates a Katana in one post. He cannot change its shape until the subsequent usage of the technique...) This blade can clash with chakra and physical-based techniques whether they have a form or not, I.E a fireball or a wave of chakra for example. The blade, however, cannot directly harm someone.

Suppose the blade blocks a technique or ability with less power or health where applicable than the blade itself. In that case, it will be absorbed and banished, forced to cool down immediately. The technique would additionally extend its cooldown period (If the jutsu has a cooldown of 3 posts, it would instead have a cooldown of 4 posts.) If the blade comes into contact with a cloak or barrier and either is less in power or health than the blade itself, those will also be forced immediately to cooldown and subjected to the same extended cooldown. The blade can also cut through and escape dimensions or Space-Time techniques that would lock the player in or prevent them from entering. If the blade clashes with a technique or jutsu with equal power, both techniques will be forced on cooldown; however, the additional cooldown will not be enforced. Likewise, if the blade clashes with something that has greater power than it, the sword will fizzle into nothing and be forced onto cooldown.

If the user has an Overdrive Stack, they can expend one to cause the blade to "Rupture" and send a wave of volatile chakra out for 15 meters in a wave. Any jutsu or techniques that come into contact with this wave that does not meet or exceed the blast's power will find themselves forcibly put on cool down and ended. The rupture can only be used once per post, and once used cannot be used for the remainder of the topic, even if the jutsu is used again.  If the user is a Pureblood Hoshimura, they can activate this technique without handseals by paying an additional 40/60 AP.

- Maybe it is obvious or presumed and I am missing it, but is this blade capable of dealing direct damage? Additionally is it able to clash with physical techniques?

- What happens if the blade clashes with something stronger than it?

- Does this "rupture" destroy the blade and put the technique on cooldown or is it just an ability that can be triggered? If it doesn't put the technique on cooldown how many times can this effect activate? Is there a per post limit?

-Note: I have misgivings about a jutsu that seems to function as a flexible technique destroyer giving everything it beats an extended cooldown. However given that it cannot deal damage I am willing to pass it along for full approval.
