Mothers should never bury their young - Page 2 Empty Re: Mothers should never bury their young

Wed Jun 16, 2021 11:10 am
The Hatake observed the chain of events that were being woven into place. The murderer was inevitably caught in the Genjutsu casted by one of the ravens, Darkwing. His speed was reduced, but even still, Tsuna couldn’t help but to be impressed by the speed of which the man was still capable of going to avoid the chain of attacks that were thrown at him. At such a rate, the man would escape and Tsuna couldn’t help but to presume the very worst should he be able to slip from their view. Thus, he would step forward and take back the lead of this mission out of wiser options. The left hand would find the forehead of the boy, index and middle fingers pressed. Space-time chakra from his core would expand outward through his being at a speed of 120. Once done instantaneously he teleported from above Kurayami the full 20 meters near the murderer at the same height - though oddly Kurayami seemed to have been discouraged by the evading of his opponent. And what was once a 14 meter distance grew to a greater distance for Kurayami alone. Whereas Tsuna continued forward from where her originally elevated. Immediately the Hatake would weave another seal with his left hand, once done another set was weaved right after. His presence was still completely masked under his technique, as well as the sound for there was no clinking from his weightless armor. With Tsuna capable of flying at a speed of 190 he was more than capable of moving to close the distance of the cocky murderer. Since he was locked under the spell of the Raven’s song, it took the man time to reach his destination which was the edge. While now, Tsuna was 6 meters before him considering that he was originally 14 meters behind him. At this point the man’s back was turned to Tsuna and as the Hatake descended 35 meters down from the heigh he was his left hand extended towards the man that was now 7 meters before him.

Reality suddenly began to warp in a rift before his outstretched hand. Formed into a meter in diameter gravitational pull. This rift black like the void with e purple hue as it was visible to see. It moved towards the murderer at a speed of 120. But it had a power of 170 thanks to the amplifier Tsuna weaved for before utilizing this village exclusive. On top of this. Hit had a pull equal to its power and anything within 10 meters of it would be dragged towards it. Unless something had a strength equal to it, or exceeded it. That meant that even the tiles of the roof were being drawing into it, the very abandoned homes under it was drawn into it. It had a pull so massive that even the Murderer was being dragged towards it. Upon coming into contact with this rift everything is crushed into nothingness.  It had a forward range of 50 meters, but the target was well within its range for pupping. Tsuna as the caster was protected from its harsh nature and recognized as the master of its cruelty. Should the Kunai wall come into range of the rift it too will snap in direction and be pulled into the rift along with the body of the man.

Tsuna remained on guard with his Just Maid in his right while he formed another set of seal in his left single handedly.

Darkwing remained at her height above all as she continued her melody to hinder the man and his speed. She moved along the bed of wind 5 more meters in the direction the murderer was fleeing to. While Aoi flapped her large wings to carry her and the others on her back towards Darkwing. She would not get too close to her superior, only a 10 meters distance would be enough for her. While maintaining her height in the air. She would maintain an eye on the man below, hovering overhead.

Mothers should never bury their young - Page 2 Empty Re: Mothers should never bury their young

Fri Jun 18, 2021 11:59 pm
Ormanno couldn't help but be pleased with himself as he managed to narrowly avoid the arrows as he careened into the alleyway below. A rather clever move in his opinion, though his minor victory was slightly sullied by the incessant caw of the bird in his head. He puzzled through his options in his head for a moment in his midair dive, thinking through the potential solutions to solve this predicament.

"Hmm... Those little squirts are rather nimble on their feet. This cawing in my head and the reduction of my speed just won't do. I can't say I've encountered this jutsu before however. Nothing physically attacked me... is it a sensory technique? That one child seemed more than capable. No, Sensory techniques usually aren't so offensive in nature... Could it be a medical technique? Possibly so, but usually those are close ranged in nature... Wait, how did it start? A sound? Yes, that irritante calling... An auditory based effect, messing with my head... could it be a Genjutsu?"

No harm in testing it out. Ormanno had time. He had taken care to master the technique before starting this mission, just on the off chance that he might encounter a Genjutsu specialist in his escape. A sharp jolt of chakra through the system was all it took to rid his mind of that call, though it left him a bit drained in the process (Genjutsu Release).

Of course, this inner monologue occured as Ormanno was falling to the earth, and took roughly 5 meters to complete (50 Speed). All the while, Tsunayoshi drew closer and closer to the unaware figure. He had started his decent from 40 meters above the man when Ormanno was 5 meters from the edge, teleporting forward from his position to begin his dive bomb towards Ormanno. In the time it took Ormanno to cross that final 5 meters, Tsuna would travel 19. Meaning when Ormanno went over the side, they would be roughly 21 meters away. So in the time it took Ormanno to fall 5 meters at 50 speed, Tsunayoshi would easily surpass the needed 5 meters to reach him. Ormanno turned back to look towards the edge with a smug look in his eye, only to find what might be his last sight in this world. A black mass of energy, 1 meter in diameter, barreling towards him at a breakneck speed. In that moment, it was almost as if the world slowed to a single second for the man. He didn't hold any doubts as to what that was. In that inky black, his old squad called him home. His performance was done, the final curtain soon to be drawn. Somehow, Ormanno had thought that his end would be far more glamorous than this. Though there was something to be said about the nobility of dying in battle. The smug look left his face, leaving eyes filled with a slight sorrow of a life not fulfilled, and a smile as if congratulating a friend on their victory.

"Well played indeed, mi avversario."

As Ormanno was falling, he was in an almost star fish position as he looked above, his limbs splayed and his chest wide open. The tools and weapons that adorned his hands were ripped from his grasp and sucked into the technique, destroying them and ripping them to pieces. With his hands freed, Ormanno threw them outwards towards the orb in a desperate hope to somehow deflect it, prevent it from killing him. He interposed his hands and a knee towards the orb, allowing them to brace the impact as it absorbed and disintegrated the skin on his palms and knee (Tank). Sweat, concentration, rage, and determination were clearly evident on his face as he was forced closer to the earth, desperately trying to fend off the technique. The last that could be heard of his voice was a defiant yell as the orb thrust him down into the earth, slamming him into the concrete below with an explosion of sound and stone that went shattering in a shockwave outwards.

There was calm after, as a thick dust hung over the air from Ormanno's crash landing. Yet when it finally faded and the dust settled, there was a massive crater in the earth, roughly a meter in diameter and 30 feet deep. For those that cared to look inside, deep within the artificial cavern, they could find the body of Ormanno, barely breathing. Though the attack delivered by Tsuna was devastating, it wasn't enough to kill the man, nor even incapacitate him. Though the force by which it slammed his body into the concrete (125 Health) was enough to tear through the rough material, and deliver a painful blow to Ormanno along the way (extra 63 damage from environmental effects, way over his 200 health). The effects on his body were truly terrible. The skin and muscles on his palms and knees were shaved clean to the bone, and his jacket was practically destroyed from its collision with the earth. The concrete slamming into his back with enough force to shatter the bone, leaving his spike, shoulder blades, back of his skull, and pelvis as little more than dust. A good number of his organs suffered damage, including his brain, liver, digestive tract, and lungs. His skin was raw and bloody, and blood pooled in the crater he remained in. The man was done... if he ever recovered... if he ever COULD recover... he would never be a shinobi, or a threat, again.

Yet perhaps it was a trick of the light, or maybe it was just the dust settling over, but those who could see might catch a glimpse of a faint smile on Ormanno's face, satisfied with the fight given, and his final swan song.

Mothers should never bury their young - Page 2 Empty Re: Mothers should never bury their young

Sat Jun 19, 2021 8:45 pm
Just as the wall of kunai was going to meet its mark, at least that is what the young Shinkou saw, he saw a black void form suddenly almost from the exact location as the traitor that they were all pursuing. The black void seemed to suck in everything within 10 meters of its origination. Kurayami knew that this had to have been the work of Tsuna, as he wasn't too sure that either of the other two members of his party would be able to pull off such a feat on their own, at least not in this early stage of their lives.

Kurayami watched both the arrows that he had shot, and a rather large chunk of the kunai knives be pulled in, and other than the one that was truly real, the rest vanished in a cloud of smoke, doing no further damage to any surrounding areas or people. He knew that he was officially not going to be able to retrieve his equipment, but at least the job was in fact done, or at least that is how it seemed. Kurayami began to sprint towards the void, to ensure he would be able to aid in whatever there was to be aided in.

The void faded away and the only thing that was left was Tsuna and the rubble that now surrounded him. To his surprise, he saw that his arrows had stuck into the wall on the other side of the alley that both the culprit and Tsuna now were placed. Next to his arrows was his kunai knife. He figured that they both must have just missed the pulling force that had been demonstrated. He leaped to the other side of the alley and landed on the wall on the opposite side to gather his equipment.

Once his kunai was in his forearm holster within his armor, and his arrows were in his quiver, he leapt down to the crater that had been created. He would stand beside the culprit that was now barely breathing. He had thought that the bastard would already be dead, but somehow he lived through the void that Tsuna had created. He drew his sword and he pressed the tip of the blade to the bastard's neck, feeling the slow pulse and the labored breathing. He felt a feeling that he couldn't quite recognize, his vision began to blur slightly, only being able to see the outline of the criminal before he swiped at his neck.

Blood spurted out from the neck of the criminal and covered Kurayami's blade, and his face. He didn't wipe the blood from his face, but he instead simply left it there, having his bloodlust finally satiated his eyes would widen in a feeling of euphoria. He looked to his friend and rival Tsuna and he would not have any words to speak. He would simply nod his head towards him and he leaped into the air and ran up the building that was to their side. As he sprinted up the wall, his heart continued to pound, feeling as though it was going to burst from his chest cavity.

He traveled quickly through the village, going straight to his home so he could pray in thanksgiving for the kill that he was granted by his deity, Yuumei.

Mothers should never bury their young - Page 2 Empty Re: Mothers should never bury their young

Mon Jun 21, 2021 5:49 pm
Debris...rubble...the scent of blood...the taste of one’s will torn from them reached the sense of Tsuna. He gradually faded back into visual, his chakra no long bending the light around him. He slowly floated towards the broken and battered man. His helm collapsed into the neck of his armor as he did. There was no threat, he could sense the chakra of the man barely clinging to him. There was a heavy look in the eyes of the Hatake as he draw closer to the man. No expression of relief sat on his face, it was merely blank. His eyes spoke more than his mouth and face could ever. They laid on someone that was utterly disgusting to him. His feet maid contact with the ground, his cloak faded and his armor regained its weight. Just Maid placed back into her scabbard on his back.

There was a look in the man’s eyes. Tsuna acknowledged it, was it a glimpse of regret, sorrow maybe? Could this man really feel some form of guilt? It was then that the man’s face portrayed a feint smile. That was enough to show Tsuna that there was no guilt in his heart...merely a twisted sense of unfinished work. “I remember your name now, Ormanno Pisani... I... Substituted as a teacher for a class of your once. Yes, it’s all coming back to me now. You showed great promise that day, yet you lacked chakra control. I even then I saw the look of envy in your eyes. You wanted to stand out amongst your peers, but failed to realized that even then you stood out the most...to me at any rate. You managed a sword better than any of them, your guard and form was airtight for someone of an academy level. That day I personal requested for you to be assigned to me should I make Chuunin by the time of your graduation to Genin. I see that now, you were already consumed by your envious nature. Your blade rusted from blood and over use. You forsaken your honor and your integrity as both a shinobi and a person... you found taking the lives of your comrades as a sick game and only sought to be recognized as an artist because of it. Yet, here we are - our paths crossed once more only to have your tools destroyed by me. I’m not here to take your life, I want something more from you. I want your will....your muse...your thrive to do what you find satisfying. I want those and for you to live on knowing that I am the one that took them from you. You could have been so much more, Ormanno. I could have helped you find your true potential. Hm, this is quite ironic, don’t you think? You wanted people to idolize you for your horrible art, yet instead they will only remember you for what I made you into. I guess that makes me...the artist and you the creation. I suppose I see things from your perspective now.” His words would reach the ears of the broken Ormanno. Before this man, Tsuna was not his charismatic and honorable self, not to him. He would be something more grotesque than that...Tsuna seemed to be...a monster of some sort. When all was said and done. He held no remorse or emotion.

As Kurayami enter the range of Tsuna’s passive sensory, so too did the Ravens Aoi and Darkwing as they descended towards the alley. Darkwing poofing into smoke as she returned to her home. Aoi informing the two on her back she was letting them off at the roof top before proofing away. Tsuna acknowledged as Kurayami collected his things. He would even pick up on the boy’s lust for blood. Usually, Tsuna would intervene, but he recalled what did that the last time. This time, it was well placed and he would be in the wrong to rob him of that. He considered it more of a mercy killing....not for Ormanno, but for Kurayami...he needed it. Had to have it. And so he would allow it. His eyes would watch as the boy left and then turned to the remaining two. “I will leave the body with you two. See to it that it’s handled with...no, just get rid of it.” He would say before releasing the seal in his left hand and his being, once again shifting to an invisible state. With that, the cloak would embrace him once more and he would ascend from that place silently and swiftly

Kana and Kobiyashi would be let down from the back of the bird at the scene of the death, Kana sensed something and would pick up the body and nod to them " Our father is a high ranking member of the village, he will know what to do with the body" and she would take it away, "Come Kobiyashi, we have to return to father" and with that they would both leave.
