Fetching for the Dog [Travelling]

The past few days went well, Katsuragi, finally having a few bills in his pocket added some much needed confidence to his demeanor. Money tends to do that to most who recently went through hardship. Knowing that the next meal wouldn't be slices of bread with copious amounts of syrup, served with a beverage of water laced with sugar remined him too much of his orphan childhood. No, today was the day he would order room service. Order the lobster with all the sides. Who was Katsuragi kidding? He wasn't on that level yet, but in this land of opportunity; the world could be his with everything in it. He finishes his bottle of beer before him, while glancing at his black boots. He had a long trip ahead of him, so it wasn't the night for him to finish off a six pack. If he could have hired carriage services, than that would have been a different story.

Where, Katsuragi was going, he want quite sure. He's left a note for, Kaworu that he was off to the land of shadows. There was no way he could have worded the note to rid it of the blatant ominous undertone. Who in their right sane mind would voluntarily travel to such a place named like that? Even now he was having second thoughts about it. The only thing that kept his mind curious about it was the scroll he received yesterday. It was late, Katsuragi was just about to turn in till a dog showed up in front of the door. Katsuragi almost didn't open it, fearing that it was a trick that village shinobi were behind. Katsuragi has seen some things back in the day. But, the dog happened to be the same dog he set free during his recent arson job. What was a  random dog doing a scroll of katsuragi? Nevertheless, the scroll told him to go to the land of shadows and find dog with no name. There was almost mention of a gift that promised loyalty and power. It was almost too good to be true. But would someone pass up some one in a million chance like this? Who else did he know who had a story like this to tell? Nobody, that's who.

With that, Katsuragi tossed the bottle aside o the ground, and made his way out of the patio of the tavern. He now heads west towards shadow lands. The scroll tucked gently within his black leather jacket. His whole black leather attire blended into the night as he disappeared from the lights and crowd of the tavern.
