There You Have It

As his display came a close an attendant came through the door.  Looking a little worse for ware given the circumstances, she still seemed to be on a mission.  Her eyes never looked at Kyson or Royalty, instead only finding Maku.  In the moment of joy, that moment of letting loose, reality answered back.  What a bitch life was.  The heat of the flame was all he wanted, while the quickness of it was all he desired, and yet.....more like the stagnant mountain he was still here.

“Excuse me...”. He would say passing by both men, the fox jumping to ride on his shoulders as he vacated the room.  Whether they knew it or not....an era had passed, and so had his friend.

As Kyson saw Maku leave.. he was a bit confused as to why. But he shrugged his shoulders and thought he'd leave too. Since he was back, there was nothing left for Kyson to do at the moment.
