So he made his choice.

“Again, I feel like we have the chuunin exam’s for a reason, it is not my place to judge their potential but yours” Komon would say starting to grow irritated. It was odd to ask him such a question, why was he specifically fit to judge a gennins status.

"You had your chance," the voice began before softening into something akin to pride. "And you proved your worthiness. No matter how Kumo is viewed from the outside, none of our ninja are worth giving up on - not even by the Kage's orders."

The room would began to light up, revealing a desk in front of the young ninja and a file with his name and rank on it.

"Take this to the mission counter, and ..." A brief pause "Not only are you a chunin now but also personally responsible for Yugure. You don't make Jounin until he makes Chunin."

With that, the Hyuuga was dismissed.

Komon sighed in relief as the lights flickered on and revealed the desk in front of him. The raikage would speak in a way that seemed almost foreign to him. Was that pride? He thought to himself, ensuring himself that he must have been mistaken he quickly shook the idea out of his head before thanking the raikage for the rank and ensuring him he wouldn’t let him down.
