A show to remember (Open to Suna) Empty A show to remember (Open to Suna)

Mon Jun 27, 2016 7:42 pm
Gin set up on her make-shift stage outside the music shop she was getting ready to began her show she played a bit for practice and then she took a deep breath and took her violin and started to slowly play bringing her hand back and forth as beautifully music flowed out and for a second she could picture the faces of her birth parents and she used the emotion she is feeling a put it in her music to make whoever heard feel her emotion. A crowd started to form around her and become amazed at her talent she closed her eyes and smiled she kept playing and turned her soft sad melody and turned it into an upbeat high tempo making the audience happy. Gin thought to herself "I wish my friends were here."

A show to remember (Open to Suna) Empty Re: A show to remember (Open to Suna)

Salzem had actually been in the crowd from the start of the song, listening along and smiling beneath his mask. He wished she could see him, recognize him, for he was no longer in his wolven form. No, he was now in his human form having his more bestial side sealed away for safety. One thing she might recognize is his eyes. His sanguine, seeming-to-glow eyes that never changed, even in that form. If she could spot them amongst the many other people, maybe she'd be able to recognize him. For their first encounter, she may have been shy, but besides that, she was a really nice person. The moment he heard  she was having a show, he just had to come and be present. He Stood amongst everyone else, watching Itsky play her song on stage. He smiled as her expert violin playing turned into a happier, upbeat tone, almost as if it were keeping pace with the quick and jolly Konoha winds next door. He had heard her music before and enjoyed it immensely and now that she was doing it more publicly, holding a show for everyone... Well... he felt happy for her. That she was going against her naturally shy nature and showing off her superb skill with the instrument... it was something to be proud of and celebrated. He smiled and clapped as the audiance applauded her performance, moving to the front so he could get a better view of his friend he'd only met for a day.

Listening to her play with such expertise made him ponder wistfully what would happen if he picked up an instrument like she had earlier in his life. Heck, the only thing he could possibly play now is the bongos and he'd probably crush them like a tin-can! But in the past, when he had his father, if he asked to play to learn how to play the cello as he once had... He could only fantasize about his musical talent with such a delicate instrument.

A show to remember (Open to Suna) Empty Re: A show to remember (Open to Suna)

Bored out of his mind Zim made his way through the streets of Sunagakure. He was wearing his usual attire of leather pants and a fishnet shirt with his Suna headband wrapped around his neck loosely. He heard the music coming from the stage and looked up on stage to see the girl performing. He was not watching where he was going as he continued to walk and barely stopped seconds before almost running over the guy known as Salzem! Of course he didn't know the figure but he looked up and apologized to the man before backing up a few feet and watching the girl on stage.

A show to remember (Open to Suna) Empty Re: A show to remember (Open to Suna)

Gin opened her eyes and saw all the people who came and that ad her really happy and one particular person moved to the front but wore a mask but she could see his eyes and they reminded her of someone she met a long time ago but she couldn't put her finger on it till she stared at him for a bit longer and thought of a taller wolf-like man she had met and she smiled at him and in between her melody she would think about the time they shared and now that he looks human she thought of the offer she gave to him on the day she met him and that was for him to play an instrument with her. Gin took her eyes off of Salzem for a second and scanned the crowd staring at familiar faces she has seen when she played small performances and new faces such as a boy in the back who wore leather she has never seen him before and she was curious because he didnt seem like he would like Gin's music but he stayed and she was happy for that. Gin continued her upbeat tune and then sped it up giving it a more classical twist with the fast tempos and then adding slow ones in the mix and it seemed to wow people.

( ooc hope no one minds me joining )

A beautiful day in Sunagakure village as all ways the sun beaming down on the village streets, the glare down the market streets was amazing it looked like a never ending show of light from above and from below, Giichi never really thought about how beautiful Sunagakure was anymore, after living there for so many years it was hard for him to imagine that Sunagakure was not his birthright village ,A aburame in the sand village was not unheard of but his family migrating over to Sunagakure was probably the best thing they could have done for him.

As such on a beautiful day Giichi went for a morning walk, on his travels around the village he went and payed a few bills that had been building up after finally getting some ryo from his team missions, Giichi felt like a real part of the village even if he was looked upon as a grain of sand to others he left like one day he would really stand out among the the sand villagers, he found himself walking into the center of suna where it was really busy, most people set up stores to sell fruit vegetables and clothing things like that, but Giichi always found himself wondering into a sake bar, he had a few drinks and decided to move on.

Giichi did not know how drunk he was but he could hear live music playing and not the normal type of music he had heard before, was the sake just playing games with him or not, following the sound of the music he found a stage with a girl playing, there where plenty of people around listening and enjoying the music, Giichi decided he would have his next drink here, there was a sake store just next to the the stage, he pulled up a chair with his drink and enjoyed the view of the beautiful young lady with the blue hair playing, he was transfixed on her, not just for her talent but her beauty

As Salzem watched his friend, transfixed, someone slammed into his shoulder, breaking his concentration and nearly knocking him over. As the figure passed, he glared at him with a look that could snap the strings on Itski's violin if he directed his gaze there. The temptation to reach out and snap the stranger up by his collar and make a scene was strong, but then he tuned into reality. It was Itski's show, her performance. If he ruined it with his rash actions... That would just be horrible for them both. Instead, he took a deep breath and turned his gaze back up at his friend, just barely catching the smile she threw his way. So she DID recognize him. He smiled lightly back, but her eyes were already scanning the crowd for something else. The outrage within him died away as he melted back into the music, his heart seeming to pick up pace with the beat of the music she played.

The song seemed to twist back and forth between slow and fast, taking on a classical melody that made his body want to sway to the beat. Of course, being who he was, he couldn't just let himself sway. He was too self conscious  to let himself simply flow to the music. So he simply stood there, arms crossed, head nodding ever so slightly to the beat. Sometimes, he could even predict which pitch the song would go or even how the beat would turn. It was a fun thing to do in these songs, predict how it might turn. Of course, he couldn't be entirely perfect in his predictions. He'd never heard this original melody before, but that was some of the charm. It was fun to see how she could outwit him in the song, change into something he didn't expect and blend it seamlessly into the previous tunes.

Zim looked over at the stranger and for a second he felt threatened! He stared back at him, but then looked away not really wanting to cause issues, he was after all trying to make friends and get to know people in Suna, because of the simple fact he actually knew he spent to much time in his room playing a musical instrument himself, a guitar.  He liked the company of some people. Only those he chose to be around of course. He kind of wanted to get to know this fellow musician, for the simple fact they had something in common.
"I did say sorry did I not? I did not intend to run into you." He said again trying to apologize to the fellow Shinobi a couple of feet in front of him. No use in making enemies, it was not worth it after all.

Gin's song was reaching it's end as she does a wonderful fast past melody before slowing down and ending it as the audience claps and Gin bows with her violin and walked down from her stage she looked for her friend Salzem but couldn't see him through the crowd of people as she got on her toes and searched around but couldn't find him so she grabbed her violin case and put violin put me away and put the bag around her shoulder. "Thank you all for coming you all are so nice."

Salzem smiled as the show came to a close with Gin thanking the crowd for their time as she packed up her instrument. As the crowd began to disperse, Salzem made his way up to the stage where the talented violinist was getting her stuff in order. He approached as casually as he liked, hands tucked lightly in his jacket pockets. For once, today wasn't horrible. Gin's performance for everyone made it so. Salzem smiled lightly at his friend from beneath his cloth mask, a gentle look in his eyes. It was a look he rarely gave anyone, let alone someone he'd only met once before. For the average person, he always had some kind of edge in his gaze, as if he were commanding that, whoever they were, they would kindly go away. In this case, however, it wasn't anything like that. The look in his eye was gentle, but not soft. It was welcoming, but not overly so.

"You played really well, Gin." Salzem spoke, his voice a tad higher but smoother than it was when he met her in his wolven form. He then cocked his head to the side, his gentle look evolving into something more like passive observation. He wasn't entirely sure that she had recognized him when she caught his eye. It would be very difficult to tell Salzem from the 7 foot behemoth wolf he was when they first met. "I'm Salzem, in case you don't recognize me since our first meeting. I was... uh... having a bad day, to say the least." He tried his best to put a humorous spin on things, despite humor not being his strong suit.

"You skill and talent with the violin is incredible..." He noted, looking down at her instrument encased in the bag. "And the show you put on just now... Fantastic. Thank you for playing for everyone."

Noticing the girl talking to the guy, he realized maybe it was time to take his leave. She had played beautiful music, but he had things he must do. At least he got some culture out of this event.
