From Sand to Water

The sun was just rising above the horizon. Dragonious, the man created by Raizuko was walking towards the east. In search for the whereabouts of Raizuko’s father. Truth be told Dragonious only knew that his father was near some water as when Raizuko had viewed him using Asylum there was water near him, most likely a beach. This would cause Dragonious to go to the east where there was a lot of water. Preferably the Island country. As he walked due east he would begin to think about his name. Dragonious? What exactly did it mean. It did have the word Dragon in it, but from his memories he was sure that Raizuko wasn’t allied with any dragons. Maybe it was just wordplay because the man couldn’t think of a name for the newly born clone. The name was a mouth full and he himself would think of ways to make it shorter. Maybe just Dragon? Yeah, Dragon sounded good. Not that many syllables, easy to pronounce, sounded cool. Just what he needed. He continued to walk as he would now think about his age. Well the age of his appearance. He knew that just being born he was only a couple hours old, but Raizuko had gave him a distinct appearance. He had the body of somewhere between a 17-19 year old male.

A single question ran through Dragon’s head. Why such a unique appearance. He had metal things sticking everywhere in his skin. Well not everywhere just in some places. Like he was a goth or something. Running his left hand along the ones in his arm. He would feel that they weren’t cold like he thought they would be, but rather quite warm to the touch. This meant that they weren’t just any ordinary piercings. Raising his hands to his face he would look at his reflection from the metal on the gloves as if it was a mirror. His eyes were blood red, as if he was one of those Vampires from the legends. He had deep black hair that would cause his right hand to move above his shoulder and grab some of it. Upon touching it he could feel how soft it actually was. It actually seemed more soft than it appeared to be. There wasn’t really anything wrong about his face. He actually looked quite handsome if he could say so himself. Laughing a little he would continue to walk. There was only sand everywhere he looked so he knew that it would be a while before he struck civilization. This would cause him to look around for a cactus plant. One that had fruit growing from it.

Raizuko hadn’t given him any things that would help him out in his travels. Maybe the man wanted Dragon to learn how to search for items his self. Well Dragon was no pushover. As he walked he easily found a pink fruited cactus plants. It had a lot of juice and nutrients in it, but apparently it gave the person hallucinations. Though, that would not be a problem as he would be the only one in this part of the desert for quite some time. So he would at least be able to know what real and what isn’t. Running towards the fruit he would put his hand on it and snatch it off. It would easily come off the small stem it was growing from causing him to smile. Now he really didn’t know if he could eat the skin of the fruit or not. That was something not in his memories. Not wanting to take any chances of a horrible tase he would find a rock, a sharp one and begin beating and cutting the fruit until he made a little drinking hole. He could see that inside the fruit it was moist and pink, almost as if it was a strawberry.

Gripping the fruit with both hands he would raise it to the sky as he put his mouth under it. Squeezing it juices would begin to run down his fingers and juice would fall from the fruit and into his mouth. Upon the juice hitting his toungue a wonderful sweeth taste would erupt. He didn’t know cactus fruit was this good. He would have thought that Raizuko would have known this. Seeing as he lived in a village that was in the middle of a giant desert. Smiling he would throw down the empty carcass of the fruit and proceed to walk to the Island Country. Maybe there was a village there he could at least ally with. Somewhere where he could train until his real job began. The job of finding his creator’s father. From the memories that he had, he knew that Raizuko’s father was somewhat of a bad man. Maybe he could stop the man from causing trouble.
