Fishing Tournament Rules Page

The fishing tournament is a semi-OoC event, that is open to anyone.  It is meant to simply be a fun way to pass the time, as well as compete for rewards.  There is no need to travel to the event, similar to the chunin exams.  During your time at the tournament it provides an opportunity to meet others IC and establish relationships.  Because this is a semi OoC event there are certain rules that go along with it, as well as the rules of the Tournament, which can be found below.

1.  Killing is strictly prohibited.  This includes stealing or exchanging bloodlines.

2.  There is no need to travel to the area, instead a simple entrance post will suffice.

3.  Any interaction IC can be translated beyond the event.  This is to establish IC relationships, and to help in CD

4.  The event will have a timeline, during that time each person is allowed as many attempts to fish as they want, or simply hang out with others.

5.  Each fishing attempt requires a 500 word minimum post.  Upon completion of the post, I will first flip a coin.  Heads you catch the fish, Tails they break free.  Once it is determined the fish is caught, a 20 sided dice and a 9 sided dice will be rolled.  This is to determine the weight of the fish.  1-20 will be pounds, then the 1-9 will be ounces.  After the flip/roll, the user must make another 500 word minimum post detailing the event.  Once this is completed they are allowed to begin their next attempt whenever they want within the time limit of the tournament.`The actual breed and appearance of the fish is up to the player. 

6.  All fishing equipment can be purchased at the Bait Shop. You must use one of these fishing poles to compete, think of it as the entrance fee.

7.  Only one type of fishing pole may be bought and used per competition

8.  No other boosts or benefits can be apped for original tournament.

More rules may be added as they become needed. So please don’t try and abuse this semi-ooc event. In true naruto fashion, think of it as a filler episode

9. You are permitted to train stats and jutsu while fishing, use that ninja might to fish!!!!

10. Rules clarification, the lucky coin is a 1 and 2. 1 is heads and 2 is tails.
