Grueling Training {Solo Training} Empty Grueling Training {Solo Training}

Mon Mar 10, 2014 11:56 pm
Megami sat down and opened her Bible, reading it aloud as she prepared to begin her training. She ran through the pages, skimming over them until she finally got to the part she was looking for. "And Jonathan cried after the lad: Make speed, haste, stay not. And Jonathan's lad gathered up the arrows, and came to his master." she recited aloud before turning in the book once more, coughing gently into her hand before reading once more. "And David said unto all his servants that were with him at Jerusalem, Arise, and let us flee; for we shall not else escape from Absalom: make speed to depart, lest he overtake us suddenly, and bring evil upon us, and smite the city with the edge of the sword."

She bit her lip as she struggled to understand some parts of it as it was hand-written in Hebrew. Although she spoke and understood it fluently, reading it and understanding the written word was trying at times. She turned to the next page, reading her third and final verse: "Now therefore send quickly, and tell David, saying, Lodge not this night in the plains of the wilderness, but speedily pass over; lest the king be swallowed up, and all the people that are with him."

Megami sighed as she closed the Bible and returned it to its proper place in her knapsack, immediately dropping to the ground and beginning to do push ups to hone her strength and health. She pushed and pushed, sustaining her body weight with ease as she hardly weighed all that much. By pushing her arms against the ground she able to suspend herself on all fours in push-up position over and over again, repeating this motion until she became bored with it. She then stood up and decided that she would fight a training dumby! While holding weights, for that matter.

Megami approached the training dumbie, wiping some sweat from her forehead as she performed a left hook then a right, punching the dumbie one punch after another with perfect succession. She didn't stop there, however, as she also wished to practice and train her kicks as well. One kick, two kicks, three kicks, four kicks, kick after kick she launched a full on assault at the training dumbie, not letting up for she knew that if this had been a real person, letting up would have meant that they would get a hit in and them getting a hit in would inevitably lead to her losing. She had to train to the point where her opponent could not out maneuver her but also to where she possessed the strength to actually fight back when necessary. Strength and health equivalent to her opponent was the very least she needed as a prerequisite so that she could, at the very least, wield her new weapon.

She lurched back abruptly and retrieved her newly purchased weapon from her back, the Staff of Elohim, and positioned herself for the most effective use of the weapon. With her feet and body positioned properly she channeled the necessary chakra into the staff and morphed the gems at the top and bottom into foot long sharp blades that could easily pierce a training dumbie. All she needed was to train her strength so that she could put enough force behind her attacks to actually deal the full extent of damage that she wished to deal.

She pulled back the staff slowly, preparing it as she slashed at the training dumbie, cutting inches into the head as she pulled back and chopped at it again and again until she was half-way through it's neck. Her goal was to train until she was able to chop off the head with a single slash. She kept hacking and slashing at the dumbie until the head was completely decapitated from its body but she didn't stop there. She kept hacking and slashing at the dumbie repeatedly, time and time again, until the dumbie itself was covered from neck to toe with cuts, stabs, gashes, etc. She continued her merciless and brutal assault on the dumbie until finally it was torn to bits and pieces, at which point she proceeded to the next dumbie, not holding back on it either.

It was then that she realized someone was calling out to her from behind, at which point she turned around to see a man around 6 feet tall, rather muscular but clearly a meat head. He looked her up and down and spoke obscenely to her. "Sup pretty mama? You got a killa body there." he told her. Megami, rather than becoming flustered, became filled with a rage that was clearly evident on her face. The frown, the slanted eyebrows, the eyes that resembled that of a fiery inferno... The man clearly noticed but said nothing. "I'll have you know that I am the messiah and I will not be spoken to in such a way by a jerk such as yourself!" she shouted, which really set the man off as well.

He lunged at her with a knife, hoping to take her hostage but found himself face to face with a girl who wielded a double-bladed staff. "Interesting. You will be my practice dumbie then." she giggled and gave him a brief wink before slashing at him repeatedly, which he blocked and dodged one after another, throwing in his own hacks and slashes, as well as a stab or two. She easily maneuvered around his assaults, however he did not give up or retreat. He really was rather thick headed, wasn't he? He clearly wasn't going to learn his lesson so she'd have to teach it to him.

"I won't surrender to some bitch!" he shouted, leaving a smirk plastered across his rather ugly face.

"Very well, sinning filth. Thy violations of God's law shall be judged accordingly." she noted, brushing her Fourth Seal of Mars, channeling chakra into it. "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten daughter!" she shouted, channeling chakra into the seal as it almost instantaneously covered her body in a lightning-afflicted shield of sorts. "That whosoever believeth in her..." she murmured, now rushing at the man. "Shall not perish!" she dodged his stab, quickly jabbing him in the throat with the end of her staff (which she had returned to a simple blunt weapon), paralyzing him upon contact due to the electricity that it conducted from her shield produced by the seal.

His nervous system shut down and his muscles tightened up, rendering him frozen. She continued forward, "But have ever last life!" she shouted the final part, turning around and swinging the staff against the back of his neck. With a crack, he was down, incapacitated on the ground. She then turned around and sprinted off towards her home, as a crowd of people had begun to amass and she wasn't sure just how overboard she had gone on the poor defenseless man. She might have gotten in trouble with Lady Raikage had she stuck around...

She sighed as she burst through the door and collapsed against the wall, sighing with relief that she was finally home. "Why are people so rude and violent? All I want is a world of Saints... Is that honestly too much to ask for?"

Megami was extremely high maintenance and defered from hard labor or stressful duties that would cause her to over-exert herself. She would often complain and throw out off-handed comments that baffle others, speaking many times in parables. Those around her would often ask her why she did this and she would often reply with a variation of 'If God granted thee the insight to understand, thou already would. But God does not believe thee worthy of comprehension.' and walk away. Many believed her to be odd and to a degree such was true. As someone who believes herself to be the shinobi Messiah, she was very odd in many ways.

She was almost ashamed of how odd she was but at the same time, she wasn't. She almost didn't care. After all, they were nothing more than sinners who indulged in their carnal desires. She was a saint who kept her priorities in order and abstained from such sinful behavior. Did this not speak volumes on her character? Though fretting over some vague and petty things in itself might be wrong. She should probably just live her life. But as the 'supposed shinobi messiah' she found this hard to do. She was set to a completely different standard than your typical shinobi and it showed in her dissatisfaction with the world. Part of the reason she longed to get stronger and change the world, though she would never admit this, was so that she would no longer be judged and hated. If only such a thing could come sooner...

She was a clean freak and would clean up any mess to the best of her ability, whether it be an actual mess or a metaphorical mess. Her goal was a world without any shinobi, whom she believed to be false prophets, and dreamed of one day achieving a technique that could 'exorcise' the chakra usage of a being, rendering them powerless. Presently, she resided within the Cloud village and was allowing herself to be trained and made comrade by shinobi for the sake of getting stronger and achieving her goal of world domination. Once she had become strong enough she planned on revealing her true nature and conquering all who opposed her rule.

Such goals paired with her relentless determination still required much training. So much training that it almost didn't seem worth it. Though she stopped herself mid thought, realizing that eternal happiness with her divine father would be more than sufficient to compensate for all of her hard work. This was why she trained so hard. Not just for her own progress and furthering of power but also to add to the glory of God and one day be able to sit at his side as his right hand, exacting judgement on those sinners who judged her so.

Megami despised sin and dismissed all those who engaged in it as 'demons' who were not worthy of her time. Those shinobi that she met whom were virtuous and without sin she often referred to as 'saints' and would extend offers of friendship and camaraderie to them. She rarely engaged in the seven deadly sins and would often act high and mighty when refusing to engage in them to her fellow comrades.

She wondered if she could truly rid the world of sin... Such a thing seemed ever-present and difficult to eradicate. She couldn't help but worry that she might not be strong enough to eradicate it. At least not its entirety. Megami sighed, wondering just how long it would take for her to become a force to be reckoned with. Would it be many days? Weeks? Months? Perhaps years. It was irrelevant. It would all be worth it in the end.

Despite all of this, she DID have a 'cute' side. She would, at times, become shy and flustered at the very idea of something inappropriate or the aspect of someone becoming emotionally attached to her or even the other way around. She would get very serious when others threatened or attacked her friends or fellow villagers. She often referred to the Cloud village as 'sacred' or 'holy' and anyone who would blaspheme it or harm it in any way was laid to waste by her might.

In fact, this led her to ponder why she had yet to find a suitable match for herself. A male with whom she could relate, one she found attractive not only physically but mentally and spiritually. She sighed, realizing very well that the day would come on its own time. She couldn't help but sigh, however, becoming deeply engrossed in thought over one boy in particular deep in her past, riddled with missionaries. One boy who had left a near ever-lasting impression on her.

Her techniques, particularly Fuuinjutsu, were entirely centered around the usage of the many names of God. She believed only in using jutsu to the Glory of God and anyone who did otherwise deserved to be despised in her eyes. She referred to her usage of chakra as "Divine Fuuinjutsu" or "Holy Magick" though it was far from actually being either of these. It was merely an alternative method of using said technique styles that involved more 'religious' prerequisites and requirements that would otherwise be simple handsigns.

She was a very religious person, after all. She couldn't engage in such thoughts just because she longed for someone to call her own. She sighed, realizing how ridiculous the aspect was that someone like that would have found their way to the Hidden Cloud Village. 'Asura... Was it not?' she thought to herself.

She woke up quite early each morning so that she may spend approximately two hours preparing her ceremonies, rituals, and morning prayers for the day. Her God, Jehovah, was the object of her unrestricted affection and was the very centerpiece of her beliefs after all. She worshiped him as the one and only true God and as an all powerful and all merciful entity. Not only that but she believed herself to be the one true daughter of God and that she was the one true messiah who had come to rid the world of shinobi and demons, leaving only saints and angels.

Such beliefs left little room for a little romance on the side. She was gradually becoming more and more reconciled that she couldn't engage in such a social order that called for her full attention and emotional involvement. Emotional involvement was, after all, quite dangerous in this world ran by shinobi.

She would just have to get by with what she knew and what she believed in. And that was that all shinobi were evil demons and the only way to rid the world of evil was to rid the world of shinobi, replacing in their stead saints whom would command and protect the people from dangers. This was God plan, or so she believed. It was God's plan given to be carried out by her. She had no choice in the matter. After all, it was destiny. Would one fight destiny? Not her... She couldn't fight destiny... The scarred seals on her body that had been carved into her at birth spoke volumes regarding whether or not she could fight destiny.
