Mountain Fun [P,NK] Empty Re: Mountain Fun [P,NK]

Thu Jul 04, 2013 2:54 pm
Inijo was walking at the base of a mountain. He was simply taking a walk to think, he was planning on starting training sometime soon, though he had no idea on where to begin. The weather outside was nice, in his own opinion. It was sunny outside, with no clouds in the light blue sky. There was a soft breeze every now and then, it moved calmly and kept Inijo cool from the heat the sun produced. He sighed. It was around noon and Inijo had forgotten to pack something to eat, he wasn't planning to return to the village until later today. Perhaps he could go back earlier than expected, but then he might not come up with the inspiration for training.

He continued to walk, mainly moving for shade he could find, otherwise walking out in the light. There were few people Inijo passed, no one was really down here. Why would they be? Perhaps doing the same thing Inijo was, in ways. Perhaps they could be taking simple strolls to clear their minds, or perhaps they could be out here looking for a nice spot to begin their own training... now that he thought of it there were some nice spots to train. Nice, flat land, nothing costy that could be destroyed during the training session, and some good places to hide in a spar maybe...

Inijo was currently wearing a black T-shirt, and black pants which closely resembled jeans. On his pants there was a small pouch which wrapped around Inijo's thigh, inside there was a set of chop sticks, special chop sticks. Both were capable of killing, hence why he had them. He kept them around, just in case anything happens. The case prevented the chop sticks from stabbing Inijo, thus prevented any harm from the chop sticks to Inijo. He had his headband over his forehead, to tell other's that he was a shinobi of Kumogakure. He had gotten this head band a long time ago, how long ago he couldn't exactly remember, but he had been happy to have gotten it since.

Inijo continued walking though. He didn't want to do any solo training down here. Nothing to do. Sure, there was simple exercising and stuff, however he wanted a nice sparring session.. which he might not get, due to having no team-mates to do so with. He was kicked off his old previous squad, for reasons unknown. He enjoyed thinking it was due to him having too much skill for them to keep up.. however it was unlikely. Though possible.. in his own mind..

As Inijo continued, he noticed someone in the distance. What seemed to be a male, sitting against the trunk of a tree, it's shade protecting him from the heat. Inijo considered the opportunity for a spar.. then again, he was assuming that the man was a shinobi. And he was assuming that the man was a man and not a child.. from the forty meter distances it was hard to tell. He simply began to walk, at a rather slow pace, keeping somewhat cautious, as Inijo had no idea on what village this stranger was from, and didn't know on if he was a dangerous, high ranking shinobi.. though it was doubtful that a high ranking shinobi would come this close to Kumogakure and rest against the trunk of a tree. He walked five meters closer, and took note of the man looking strangely at something. He had bothered to take his head off the trunk of a tree, and was staring at something. When Inijo circled his head to what the stranger was looking at, a fox had apparently jumped out from the bush. Perhaps the noise had startled the man? It was a possibility, or maybe he was sight seeing, and saw a strange looking animal he had never seen before. So many possibilities, Inijo couldn't have guessed. "Hola!" Inijo shouted, and assuming the man wasn't a threat. Of course at this distance it wasn't likely that the man could try anything sneaky. There was still a thirty four meter distance between the two.

Mountain Fun [P,NK] Empty Re: Mountain Fun [P,NK]

Thu Jul 04, 2013 3:33 pm
A yawn escaped the jaws of the young genin, a look of exhaustion plastered onto his features as he walked through the bustling streets of Kumogakure. He had been spending the last few days cooped up in bed thanks to an injury he sustained during a mission. His right arm was still kind of stiff and sore, but it was usable in terms of fighting and the use of seals. It still cracked if he rotated it and hurt if he did sudden jerks with it if he was not prepared for the backlash of pain, but he could get over the pain and rather comfortably use it in a situation that required him to use both ninjutsu and taijutsu. He didn't have any idea for how long he could do so, yet he hoped he could do it until he either died or collapsed from lack of energy. He had gotten a good breakfast with enough calories to last him for quite a few hours of intense labor. He shook his head, starting to snap himself out of the stupor that he had gotten himself into trying to think of ways to spend his day. He needed to train in an isolated area, and the mountains would be a great place to do so.

He took off like the spry young man he was, bobbing and weaving through the crowd while managing to keep his balance, doing acrobatic leaps, spins, and jumps in order to dodge and make it quickly through the crowd. He eventually found himself at the front gates of the great Cloud Village, being let through by the gate guards. He hummed a rather joyous shanty, making his way at jogging speeds to the mountain area, knowing that it would be quite the long jog and he would be tired if he ran full speed all the way there. He didn't want to be tired before he started to train. The jog would prove useful as well, since he knew it would be essential to wake up the muscles and joints that had laid dormant for the last week due to his injury. He made sure to keep an eye out on his surroundings. He had heard tale that more beasts had started to show himself around the mountains after he slew the beast that had been terrorizing the area for his first mission. He narrowed his eyes, swearing he felt a sharp pain in his arm, like if someone had stabbed him...but he didn't feel it as soon as he focused on the area of the pain. It must have been a muscle cramp or something.

His ears twitched as he heard some strange words being uttered up ahead, the Genin stopping a good 3 meters away from the one who had addressed the strange male with the word 'Hola'. He did nothing to move, having a feeling that these two were not going to be enemies. They had the feel of Kumogakure nin about them. He did not drop his guard, however. It was unbecoming of such a young ninja like himself to drop his guard, even around comrades. They might make fun of him or even worse, attack him to show his inexperience and hopefully scare him. If that happened and they spread the news, he would become the laughingstock of Kumogakure! Souji kept a calm, focused look on his face, his eyes twitching in phantom pain that came from his arm. He gripped it gently, squeezing it in an attempt to dull the pain or try to get it to go away. "Hello..." He said evenly, a bit of a shiver of pain rumbling through his form, his eyes shifting from the man nearest to him to the man farthest from him, a lump forming in his throat as he tried to get the pain in his arm to subside.

Mountain Fun [P,NK] Empty Re: Mountain Fun [P,NK]

Inijo took note of the man looking at him. He then had heard another voice saying 'hello'. Inijo turned his body in the direction of the source of the voice. Another one had appeared. He had lengthy black hair, some of it covering a bit of his left eye too. He was quite tall, apparently, he appeared to be five foot, maybe six feet, somewhat taller than Inijo, who was five foot four inches, or around there. It had been sometime since he had last measured in his own height. The one with black hair had glasses as well, which Inijo hadn't yet seen on a shinobi. Then again, Inijo was assuming this man was a shinobi and not a citizen. The man seemed injured, he was gripping onto one arm. Of course that doesn't necessarily mean he is injured, but Inijo didn't know of anything else it could mean, perhaps an attempt to hide something? No, more likely injury. "Hello." He said to the man, who's eyes seemed to be switching between Inijo and the farther one. Speaking of which, he decided to turn around and take a few notes of him now.

When Inijo saw the boy begin to move, he was standing up and looking down at his feet, which seemed strange for Inijo. He began to dodge forward. Inijo saw the boy begin to form a handseal, was he performing a jutsu?.. It was a familiar hand seal, but that didn't necessarily mean he knew the jutsu. It was strange, and only got stranger when the boy disappeared in a poof of smoke. "Hm?" Was all Inijo could say. He noticed a blur rushing by him. Inijo quickly turned his head for the direction it was going in. It ended up going right next to the other boy.

The two were off nearly equal height, the only difference was that one of them seemed taller, and it was the dark, seemingly red haired one. 'Thanks for waking me up from my nap.' Is what Inijo had heard, which was strange, because the boy had just leaned his head against the trunk after seeing the fox. 'Now what is it you two want?' Was his next sentence, a question. "Oh, nothing much. Was just saying hello, and sorry about that." Inijo said, wondering what the other two were doing down here. Perhaps the one who was attempting to get some sleep was making an attempt to get away from some noisy friend of his, maybe family, and sleep down here, or maybe he could have just been resting from a long journey. Inijo didn't help any of that. Of course if the boy was really resting then he supposed that he wouldn't have gone so fast, that he was too tired to move so fast... speaking of which...

What had made the boy speed up? Was that natural speed? Or was it a technique, a special jutsu of some sort? It had to be - The boy performed a hand seal. Or did the boy want Inijo and the other one to believe this? Perhaps the dark haired one is simply showing off.. though if that were the case, why the hand seal? If he was showing off his raw speed then the hand seal wouldn't have been needed, which led to Inijo believing that the boy had performed a jutsu of some sort.

Quickly, to come up with a change of subject, rather than a cranky boy who just got awoken from a nap, Inijo began to speak, "So what brings you two down here?" He asked, hopefully this allowing for Inijo to learn a little more about them. Then again, maybe he should have asked them for their names first.. "I'm Inijo, by the way." He said, rather than rudely asking for their names before properly introducing himself.

Mountain Fun [P,NK] Empty Re: Mountain Fun [P,NK]

Souji couldn't help but to notice the speed at which the man approached him. To him, that was quite the godly amount of speed, wondering just how and why he went that fast. There was no immediate danger, was there? Was it just to show off to him and the stranger that had 'ruined his sleeping time'. He hoped not. That was kind of a waste of chakra to just show off, even if it was pretty fricken cool that he had managed to close the distance between the three of them in just an instant. He got a good look at the man's face. It was...odd, to say the least. His face, not so much, but his eyes put him off a bit. It was...cool looking. Odd, but cool looking. He just kind of head-tilted a bit at the question, shrugging a little bit and shifting his weight, making sure he kept a good balance on his body in case he needed to fight or escape quickly. He used both of his hands to push his bangs back, showing off those blue eyes of his and brightening up his face, as well as showing off that cross-like scar on his cheek. "Sorry about that. My hair kind of gets in the way sometimes. "He said, projecting his voice a bit more as he stretched out his bad arm, the phantom pains starting to subside more.

He rotated his shoulder, preparing himself to answer the question placed before him. "I came here for...physical therapy, somewhat. I got injured in a fight with a rather big beast and it knocked my right arm all out of whack. I was put on bed-rest a week ago, but now i'm feeling antsy. I hate being cooped up in my room for that long of a time without anything to do. I ran out of things to read on the first two days." He said, his speech turning into grumbles of disapproval by the end of his rant, the young genin having visible bandages underneath his chain vest and clothing. He rotated his neck, gentle cracks being heard as he started to stretch out. "This seemed like the prime spot to do it because it's close to the village as well as being quite devoid of life that I can hurt with my meager skills." He said, hopping around a bit as he warmed up his muscles some more so he would not get a cramp when he started training.

"Oh! Excuse me. I'm Souji." He said, almost forgetting to introduce himself. He bowed respectfully to those whom he considered his upperclassmen. He had to move his bangs back after he bowed, since his hair had to somewhat follow the laws of gravity. He let out a soft grunt, stretching a tad more as he heard his shoulder pop. A wave of relief ran over him as he finally got that joint to situate firmly back into place. "Now, if you'll excuse me...I have some training to do." He said, moving away from the two as he tried to figure out where he was going to train.

Mountain Fun [P,NK] Empty Re: Mountain Fun [P,NK]

Fri Jul 05, 2013 10:57 am
Inijo listened, the one with the long, lengthy black hair began to apologize to the one with seemingly incredible speed, the apology had something to do with his hair being in the way.. perhaps he was apologizing due to the one with the speed having been awoken? But Inijo was seemingly the one who had interrupted the man's nap.. Hm. 'I came here for physical therapy." Was what Inijo had heard in reply to the man. What for?.. He wondered. His answer quickly came in form of a short sentence. The man was injured by a large beast, the large beast had apparently injured the boy's arm. Why was he battling the beast, though? It seemed strange for him to have randomly attacked a large beast.... Or maybe the large beast had attacked first? But why would a large beast tread into Kumogakure.. Unless this took place outside of Kumogakure? More likely, that way. But why was the boy outside of Kumogakure in the first place? Training or a mission seemed to be the more likely answers. What rank was this mission though? To fight a beast capable of injuring a shinobi that would mean that it may be a higher ranking mission than even Inijo's used to. Hell, he hasn't had many.. if not, no missions yet. Then again, the boy could have been sent on a low ranking mission, and injured himself. Which would mean that he has little skill.. this was also likely. Then, there was the possibility that the boy actually got the wound from a battle against a shinobi, and is covering it up with a lie about fighting a large beast to cover his tracks because he is actually a high ranking shinobi from another village.. No, that's not it. He'll just believe the boy, Inijo decided..

"Interesting.." He said, which it was. It had managed to put Inijo's thoughts into a maze of questions. "If I may ask, what species was this large beast?" Inijo asked, as to avoid it in the near future, have a few other questions answered, and to use it as a lie detector. He had soon heard the man introduce himself as Souji, too. What with the man out here looking for training.. perhaps Inijo could offer up a spar? A possibility, and he doubted the man would reply with a simple no.. but then again if he replied with a yes Inijo may need to take it easy on him. "Actually, I came down here for training too.. in a way." He said, hoping to get a spar started and test Souji's skills. When Tee introduced himself as Tee, he no longer had to refer to him as the one who had an extreme amount of speed. Tee then mentioned a spar, most likely the question was at Souji, so Inijo remained silent about it. Then again.. he was interested in the idea of a spar already, before Tee had asked... so.. "Hm, mind if I join in this spar?.." He asked.

Mountain Fun [P,NK] Empty Re: Mountain Fun [P,NK]

Souji had began to stretch more, a bit of a smile on his face at the prospect of a spar with some of his upperclassmen. It would prove to be quite the feat if he could hold his own against them, even more-so if he could defeat even one of them. He was doing a bit of shadow-boxing to see if his shoulder could handle punching. It could, even if the punches were a bit stiff. It looks like he  would have to rely on grabs and kicking for this fight in terms of Taijutsu. He honestly did not have that much of an arsenal in terms of Ninjutsu, but he did know how to use what he had to his advantage. He looked between the two, wondering what they had in store for him in this spar. Would they go easy on him? He doubted it, seeing their looks in their eyes. He gulped, shuffling on his feet in order to try and hide some pensiveness that had hidden itself in his body. He kept hopping on his feet, keeping his body warmed up. If he rest now, his muscles would start to lock up and he wouldn't be much fun in terms of a spar.

"The beast? Well, it was huge and furred. Like, really big." He said, pointing upwards. "It had arms like tree-trunks. I wasn't even able to see its face thanks to all the shaggy fur that was on it. Even a glancing it from it hurt pretty bad." He said, rotating his shoulder. "It was more of the fall than the hit that got me though. Landed wrong on my shoulder thanks to my own inexperience." He said honestly, rotating his neck and looking to the two. "Well, we're gonna spar, right? C'mon." He said, getting to a more spacious part of the mountainous area, not too high up nor was it too close to the ground. The air was a bit thinner than it was near Kumogakure, though it wasn't too much of a difference, at least to him. Besides, it was just a hop-skip away from the meeting place of those three. He looked to the two and smiled. "First off, i'm gonna be training my Taijutsu. I need to make sure I haven't lost any of my edge. Or we could just go all out from start to finish." He said simply, knowing that a long battle might not be the best idea at the present moment, especially since he had left his ninja tools back at his Grandmother's shop.

He got into his position and checked his strategic position. He five meters away from both of his sparring partners, a good, safe distance away, though not too far away. Though, he had to admit, they might out-speed him more than anything else, especially Tee. The young genin easing into a fighting position. It was a rock solid side-stance, his vitals turned away from his sparring partners so that only his face and right arm fully showed itself, his left arm level with his mid-section and his left hand was left open for a more defensive stance. His right arm was slightly outstretched, being level with his chest. His right hand was also open, yet slightly turned to the side for a more offensive hand rather than defensive hand. His knees were also slightly bent, energy gathering in his feet and legs for if he had to make a quick dodge or a dash. It was a somewhat basic fighting stance, though effective for spars nonetheless.  He made sure his feet were planted firmly in the mountainous rock, his gaze continually shifting between his two opponents. He readied himself, his blue eyes narrowed as his body started pumping adrenaline, hyping him up and preparing him for the ensuing fight.
