Backstory: This technique allows its user to silently emerge from an earthen surface, moving as a fish does underwater. As or after they've emerged, users are often well-placed to perform assassinations or guerrilla attacks. To help them go unnoticed while they strike, users will often combine this technique with clone techniques such as a multiple Clone Technique concealing their movements among the mass of clones. Users use the Shadow Clone Technique, drawing their targets' attention while another shadow clone sneaks up on them.
Appearance: When active and semi-submerged, users of this technique appear to be floating in the earth as if they were in water. Otherwise no notable visible appearance is present when not submerged or submerged.

What it does: By coating their body in earth-natured chakra, this technique allows the user to treat the ground below them like water by having their earth chakra turn the ground around their body into fine particulates. They travel around at jutsu speed and can sense things using the vibrations picked up by the earth's chakra surrounding their body. Their sense reaches outward up to 15 meters away, while also knowing if there is open ground above them or not. In the case of interacting with another earth technique, the user can still burrow through the technique if the power of this jutsu is equal to or greater than the power of the opposing earth technique. Any techniques that can interact with the ground can disrupt the user's burrow if the power of the jutsu impacting the ground reaches them and has more power than the user. If this result occurs, then the user would be shunted to the surface at jutsu speed.
Similar to flying techniques, there is a limit in the opposite direction. The depth cap is 50 meters from where the user started digging in the earth.
