Let's Dabble with Some Poison

"Alright, Zakari. It's time to go," 

Zunair cheerfully gleamed as he kicked the edge of the bed right in front of him. The mammoth known as Zakari was sound asleep in his bed. Zakari took the typical teenage boy personality to heart as he was lazy. With a groan and an annoyance, the male sat up from his bed with an irritated look.

"Don't give me that look, you said you wanted to come." Zunair said.

"I know." He spoke. Zakari voice definitely matched his stature. It was deep and rough. He stood up and began getting ready at a sloth's pace. Zunair rolled his eyes and went outside to wait on him. It didn't take long before he was walking out of his room. Zunair gave him a wide smile before putting his hand on Zakari's shoulder and teleporting them to the training ground where they would wait for Nakama.


"Now, we just gotta wait for Nakama, do you want to practice you're earth ninjutsu," Zunair asked as he walked around the open area. It seems as they were the first ones here today.

"I am." He said as he walked towards the river that was next to them. Zakari channeled Chakra to the bottom of his feet as he stepped out into the water, a little unsteady at first, he thought he was going sink straight down. He stood perfectly still on the water, a bird fluttered loudly overhead breaking his concentration and with it his ability to stay above the water. With a splash the Genin was no longer dry, climbing from the river edge he cursed to himself silently. Zakari had quickly mastered the art of climbing walls and trees with chakra, but he had never taken the time to master water walking, it was a similar, yet different beast entirely which Zakari knew was a contradiction, but he knew the skills from the former would only carry you so far through the latter.

Sending chakra down the bottom of his feet once again Zakari stepped out onto the water, he felt the energy below his feet repelling him away from the water ever so slightly. Just enough to keep him from sinking but still able to walk along the surface, it was an incredible feat to those not versed in ninjutsu but to shinobi it was a basic yet essential skill to master. Zakari regulated the flow of chakra through his body in a practiced manner.

Zakari began walking the width of the river, going back and forth occasionally turning it into a zigzag as he traveled. 

"You know that's not earth release, right?" Zunair chimed in from the distance.

"I know!" Zakari yelled back, while Zunair was his creator, he could be a tad overbearing.

Zunair couldn't help but laugh at Zakari as he struggled with his water walking.
