Tutelage of Consideration (IO) Empty Tutelage of Consideration (IO)

Tue Dec 07, 2021 3:55 pm
This day was bound to come. Tsunayoshi Hoshimura, the chosen one of Hoshigakure’s people was appointed a team to groom of his own. The Hoshimura would delicately read over the letter sent to him by his lord, Ayato Hyuuga. “A new team, so soon?” He spoke, his words carried a hint of heaviness. The last team that he lead did not show much promise, one after the other they had their own goals that superseded that of the group’s. One in particular he had to personally see to and bring to justice during the attack on the village at the hands of the one called Stein.

Folding the letter, he would put it aside. Withdrawing four parchment sheets, he would jot down a set location - folding it and concealing them in four envelopes. A few seals would manifest a single raven from pearl smog. Swift instructions from Tsuna would command the raven to locate and deliver these letters. In the meantime, Tsuna would depart from his home to meet them.

The set location would be a vastly open field of greenery. Trees that stood 6 meters tall, well hugged for confinement, outlining the entire field; all except the path through the opening that leads there and within. The grounds was 100x100 meters, half ground and the other water. The body of water clear as crystal, a single boulder peaked from its center at 12 meters tall and 5 meters wide.

Tsuna would be found standing with his back towards the path that leads them in. He stood at the edge that lead into the water, a meter away. He was completely clad in his armor, Bittersteel and his blades at their respective places(stat page for locations). His neck sports a unique seal. His eyes, blue like the sky with a yellow outer ring. His hair swaying in the winds gentle caress. His hands at his side as she admire the scenery. Mind heavy in thought, as he engrossingly considered what would come of this meeting.

Time to meet with the village’s future.” He would smile, cross his arms, his left hand raised to his chin to cup and stroke it. He was truly excited and anxious to meet with them.

Tutelage of Consideration (IO) Empty Re: Tutelage of Consideration (IO)

Fri Dec 10, 2021 7:12 pm
Akiorama walked through the streets of Hoshigakure with a stick of Dango in his right hand. He looked around and took in the sights. A nice walk through the streets is exactly what he needed. The dango was just a nice added bonus to an eventful walk. He was slowly making his way towards the training area. After all, He's gotta keep healthy and fit. Well...healthy enough as his condition allows. Akiorama began mapping out his day from this point onward. However, it was then a raven had landed in from of him. There was a moment and silence between the two. He noticed that it held several envelopes. He shrugged and extended his arm with a smile on his face. As he did this he place the stick of dango in his mouth, biting the very first dumpling on the top to free up space in his right hand for interacting. Akiorama saw no actual names on the envelopes so he deduced that they must all have the same exact same content. He could be wrong but it seemed like the logical answer here. What could this mean? Who else would receive the other three letters? He grabbed onto the letter and as he did the raven understood that this part of the task was done. It would quickly take flight and go on to complete the rest of it's mission. Akiorama watched as it flew away while his hands were quick at work to open that letter. Once he had it open he began looking through it.

"A location? Must be a meeting place. Hm...Now that I'm genin I should be getting a team and a sensei too. Maybe this is it? Well, caution never hurt nobody." He pulled out the stick, leaving one of the dumplings of the dango in his mouth. He figured if he kept a decent pace he could enjoy his walk and make it there on time. This way he wouldn't need to rush towards the location. Besides...if he rushed right in then it wouldn't be very shinobi like of him. He needed to show that he was a bit more mature than that. He'd begin making his way towards the aforementioned location. His pace was steady. Picking up a faster pace than he did before but without taking it tooo overboard. He was starting to get a little excited at what this could possibly mean. This whole thing could suck or could totally be the best thing this week for him. Maybe this month. Oh yea, he was pumped.

He was three quarters of the way there before he stopped for a moment. He placed a hand over his mouth and he violently coughed into it. He felt a surge of pain in his chest area and his lungs. He looked at his hand and saw blood had stained his glove. ;;Every time this happens...I only see further reason to keep going. Can't give up now...;; It felt almost as if his body was trying to warn him. Was it? Perhaps. But he had hoped his illness wouldn't show up during whatever was going to happen. How embarrassing and humiliating to be looked down upon because of his condition...No, his drive was ever solid. He'd start to sneak the rest of the way, in an attempt to scout ahead and know what there before revealing himself.

Once he had made it to the location he'd hide behind one of the trees and observe. There was someone here. A man with an eyepatch and a loadout that gave Akiorama a moment of speechlessness. ;;Wow...That armor looks so amazing....and his blades look so nicely made. I wish I knew just how much time and effort when into those.;; He's give another look over. Trying to see every inch of this new person. He'd take note of the mark on his neck and observed his features. In a lot of way, this man looked like a textbook hero that Akiorama would read about from time to time. He had a sense that this was a clear time to make his entrance. So he'd move himself from his hiding spot and make his presence known. He was about 8 feet from Tsunayoshi's current position towards his right side. The side that to Akiorama seemed like a blind spot, no pun intended. From this distance he could easily make himself known and not provoke Tsunayoshi's instincts. "Hello!" Akiorama would say with a smile on his face and a large wave. "It's nice to meet you. I'm Akiorama Senju. I believe I got your letter and once I did I immediately headed over here." He placed his waving hand down to his side and continued to approached till he was 3 feet apart from him. Being mindful of distance and cautious still of danger but relaxed his body and gave his usual happy demeanor. "Typically a genin is assigned to teams with a team leader to guide and train them. I won't say I'm completely sure of it but part of me believes that is the case here. If that is the case, then I am glad to meet you here" He bowed respectfully and would soon raise his head after.

Tutelage of Consideration (IO) Empty Re: Tutelage of Consideration (IO)

Fri Dec 10, 2021 8:51 pm
Maro did not know what to do with dead things.

Do you bury a dead thing? Do you sit it down and let the dust cover it like a blanket? Do you burn it to ashes, and then burn it again? Maro had very many dead things in his room, and he had never been good of letting go of the dead. A large hand trailed long fingers over his dead record. It had been good to him, and he knew very well he should not have played the record as often as he did, but the music it produced helped him sleep and would keep his mind from wandering when he needed to do work in his room. He could always get another record. Discs were relatively cheap, and the song wasn't necessarily unique, simply lacking in demand and thus harder to find. His dependence on it had spelled its doom, and now it sat on the record player, inactive.

For many months now, the dying record had cried for his aid. It did not wish to sing for him anymore. It had started to skip, and its quality slowly worsened with each repeat. It was so tired. In that way, his music record was very human, as he too would begin to tire after months of singing. Black eyes stared down at it. He had almost been offended when the music stopped. In the months it took for the record to die, Maro had begun to look anticipate the few traces of song its eerie humming had left in it. It took him perhaps several loops to realize it no longer played music.

For its service, it deserved a burial, or a sendoff. Maro had always buried the things he killed, whether it be rodents eating the crops, or shattered mugs. A thing was never more in tune with the planet than when submerged inside of it. A return to form, he thought. A shattered mug buried was reunited with the clay deposits it originated from. It was the least the towering teenager could do for the little items, and he hoped, when he decided to let himself be killed, that he too would be buried with his creator. He supposed then that he should bury his music record in the yard, as he had done with everything else, next to the shattered cups and the broken toys and the dead animals, but when his fingers traced over the black vinyl, he found himself curious.

Instead, course fingertips gently traced over the record player, settling the needle upon the disc. Perhaps, just one more time.

It was not music that came from the record player. The dead, corrupted track played slowly. It was not the music he had once known, not anymore. Its hum seemed to build inside of him, welling in his chest and his throat, pressing against the back of his eyes like the most hideous migraine. In its eerie sounds and ambiguous state of existence, it was not quite singing. It was breathing, barely. Was it angry with him? Was it angry that he had reduced a once loud and vibrant song to an ominous hum? That he had smothered out its life with his admiration of its song? In its white noise that it breathed, in its hum and not-right sounds, he could make out music. It was not the same music; it was hardly music at all. It was the noise of undeath and anger and a music record that was never meant to make these sounds.

Maro could buy a new music record, he could play something else. The ruined disc was not to help him focus on anything but it- it enraptured him. The too-tall teen with too-dark eyes stood in the middle of his barn room, ghostly light seeming to die out in the dark and unwelcome confines of his occupancy. With the noise. Like a blank canvas, it represented everything and nothing. Like the clouds, you could make out anything from its haunting postmortem cries. It sounded like a child crying. It sounded like wind blowing through a valley. It sounded like a murder of crows crowing and cawing and crying. It sounded like the shuffle of someone's boots behind you.

The boy whipped around; jaw clenched as he looked to his bed at the flutter of movement. There was nothing but a letter. Empty eyes travelled out the outward window, where, in the distance, he could see a messenger bird staring back with its dark, beady eyes. And then it turned, and flew away, off to deliver another letter. The noise cut off, the music record abruptly moving into a more comfortable silence as he approached his bed. He traced a finger over the paper before he opened it, reading it shortly. Simply a location. He had been waiting for this, and yet at the same time, he had not been waiting for it at all. While the two other adolescent occupants of the farm threw their lives into the work it took to get here, Maro had simply existed. He had done as he'd been told. Not to say he didn't care, but he had never had the gargantuan and overly present drive the two boys had. He was powered by a quiet and formidable will that did not bend, that had not ever bended.

Maro's advancement was akin to a slow trek up a hill with a weighted vest. His eyes were set ahead, and he was not unhindered in his progress, but he knew where he was going, and he would get there, eventually. Akiorama and Yaijōrama's work ethic was more akin to the most devoted sprinter competing in a marathon. They were all speed and power and pure dedication to doing the impossible. Maro did not seek to do the impossible. Progress often came to him, and if it didn't, he would pursue it. Slowly. In the end, he would catch up. Today it had come to him in the form of a letter. Maro had no doubt this was the next step of his training. He wasn't particularly sure which one, or what would be awaiting him, but this was it.

The teen set off not long after he got the letter. He had done his work for the day, and it was possible that he would see the brothers there. It was his duty to protect them, even if perhaps it was not something he was paid for. Maro didn't slack off in his training, even if he was not as devoted to the art of overexertion as the others were. They desired grand things, and he had known this for a long time. Even Akiorama desired to break the chains his own illness had set on him. The boys had potential.

And they were reckless.

And Maro refused to bury any more dead things. The boys were his music record. They kept him focused, they helped him work, their own progress was the push he needed to breathe. He was not so bold in his own abilities to say they would die without him, but he would not be so stupid as to say he wouldn't make it a lot harder. As his music record died because it sang too much, and he had simply continued the record player to create something new, Maro would be there for them when they collapsed from the stress of their endless pursuit of perfection. That is to say, they would fail, and they would fail hard. They could die, they could be crippled. But Maro had seen too many bright flames be snuffed out, too many good things die. He would not allow it this time. They would fail, eventually, and he would be there to pick them up again. This was his duty.

Maro did not bother with the theatrics of trying to hide as Akiorama did. Instead, he approached from one of the paths, arms stiff at his side, and face stoic, lacking any expression. His steps were quiet, and his gait was smooth, like a machine programmed to do just this, and the very tall boy said nothing as he arrived just behind Akiorama, looming over him with an aura of protection so strong it could practically be felt. The Big Wolf Brother had arrived to guard his friends from the unknown stranger.

Maro had arrived, and he would keep the boy directly in front of him very much alive.

Tutelage of Consideration (IO) Empty Re: Tutelage of Consideration (IO)

Haru is leaving her study. In her hands was a small animal. She has gotten into the habit of healing these wounded creatures as practice for her Medical Jutsu. those who survive show Her improvement those who don't are fine subjects for dissection. either way, she gets something out of it. She climbs the dimly lit stairway and when she emerges is immediately met with a sound. It piques her interest but also gives rise to something else. Annoyance, A repetitive tapping coming from somewhere in her home. Did a pipe leak again? No Its not that. She goes to investigate when she realizes she forgot all about the small animal in her arms. Its warm body rhythmically expands and contracts as it breathes. It was in a quite bad shape before Haru got to it. Saving lives isn't the direct motive for why Haru does what she does. However, she takes pride in her work nonetheless  She goes outside and places it down as it scampers off along the desert streets. When Haru turns to return home she actually finds a surprise. The cause of her annoyance. A Raven. One that taps against the window of her home. What could this Corvid want so badly that it insists on bothering her? She approaches slowly upon reaching arm's length distance she stops and the two exchange empty expressions. Haru takes note of the envelope in the raven's claw. Was this for her? She has never seen a messenger raven.

Haru takes the Envelope and briskly walks back into her home. as she begins to unfold the letter another sudden sound distracts her once more. Annoying. Her eye shoots up from the envelope in a glare. oh, it's just her radio. It's an old broken-down thing. She has thought about repairing it but never gets around to it. the on and off button is no longer functional and its dials are inconstant. It's mostly just this. Static. Maybe a voice or two. One time she thought she landed on the frequency that someone was using for battle. It seems improbable but whoever was on the other end didn't sound like they were doing well. If it was a battle she doubts they won. Maybe she doesn't fix it on purpose though. She admits there is something soothing about the spontaneous static filling her dead quiet home. Something about it does spark the imagination.

Haru is getting sidetracked again. Her mind once again has begun to wander. Wander sounds like too tame of a word for what she experiences in these moments. Her mind is often on fire and at times like these, it's a blazing inferno. A thousand tiny questions. But it ultimately leads back to what's important right now.  ;; Oh that's right;; She thinks to herself slowly switching her cold gaze back to the envelope next to her ;; What's in there? ;;  She reaches out and grabs it once more. This time she actually opens it. A location? That's it? why would someone do that? I mean obviously, they want her to go there but why? Haru has noticed something about people and it's that they love to be vague. to imply the truth and to withhold details. She's not even sure if they do it consciously. But this is obviously intentional and either way, she finds it irritating. If you leave too much for her to consider she has to figure it out one way or another and getting people to say what they mean takes far too much effort. She gets up and gets ready to leave. Getting into a set of clean clothes since her previous set had blood on it. She puts on a new pair of long black gloves and dons her gas mask. As she leaves more questions to flood her mind.

When Haru Arrives she will be trying to hide. There is of course danger which leads to some degree of fear but more than that there is curiosity. Who would send her this letter and why? she wants to see them before they see her then see what they are like after. Or maybe she will test just how good this person's perception really is. Yes, let's test them. She keeps her distance and watches deep in the shadows of trees and bushes. She wants to be slightly noticeable. So if a good eye really tried she would be found. But doesn't wish to want to make it easy. As she gets into the position she watches. Her eyes scan the area stopping at the three who are already there. She immediately recognizes two of them Maro and Akiorama. But one figure that stands out. A man, Blue eyes blonde hair. Very clearly the one who invited them. Maro wouldn't do anything like this. Akiorama was just hiding like she is though she doesn't plan to come out soon she isn't done observing. She wants to see what happens next but most of all she wants to see now who else will be joining this group. She watches the man clad in armor closely look into his eyes. Waiting for a hint that she has been spotted. Judging from his demeanor he is confident in his abilities.

Tutelage of Consideration (IO) Empty Re: Tutelage of Consideration (IO)

Sun Dec 12, 2021 10:11 pm
“Come again, Yaijō! You know you’re always welcome here.” A voice shouted behind Yaijōrama as he made his way out of the restaurant. That was the owner of the local restaurant which tried to make vegan versions of typical meat products. Like burgers, hot dogs, shanks, and other things. “Thank you! I’ll be back tomorrow, hopefully.” Yaijōrama often frequented this place and today he came out with his favorite. A tofu burger stacked high with lettuce, tomato, red onions, pickles, pepper jack cheese, cheddar cheese, and swiss cheese. He had a large cactus juice on the side to help wash it down.

Behind Yaijōrama the door closed slowly, before the tiny bell at the top rang out to signal the closing of it. What plans did Yaijōrama have for today? Honestly the boy was going to go to the training grounds to train. That’s what he normally did with his days, if he wasn’t doing chores around the farm or home. But today it seems fate had other plans for the young teen. Yaijōrama was just outside of the restaurant when he spotted a black bird staring straight at him with a letter in its possession. ;; Is that bird looking at me? ;; Yaijōrama questioned himself and started to look around. There were plenty of people around but there was no one directly behind him. Those that were around him just continued to walk about their day, heading to wherever they were going.

Yaijōrama slowly raised his burger towards his mouth as he took a bite. He started to accept that the raven was for him. ;; Let’s go see what the… messenger bird? Is that what I call it? Yeah let’s go see what the messenger bird wants. ;; They were about 3 meters apart, so it didn’t take many steps for Yaijōrama to be in front of the raven. “Is that for me?” Yaijōrama went to wrap the burger back up before laying it gently in the bag. He took a sip of his drink, and went to set both the bag and drink down on a nearby bench. “I’m going to take the letter now. Is that okay?” Yaijōrama questioned the raven but all he got back was a blank stare from the raven’s cold and dark eyes. He waited about three seconds to see if it would talk though. Who knows, in this world he knew that he had incredible powers compared to non-shinobis. So it isn’t a far stretch to say that a bird could talk to him. Though after the brief waiting period was over, Yaijōrama went to lightly pull the letter away from the raven.

;; No name… ;; Yaijōrama examined the envelope for any identifying markings, but he turned up blank. “Should I open this now?” Yaijōrama questioned the raven once again but when it gave him no reply, he just nodded. “Yeah, I think I’ll go back home first. No name, no markings, and you dropping it off?” Yaijōrama nodded towards the raven and put the letter inside of his front pocket. “Thank you!” Yaijōrama shouted some and gave the raven a small bow. Yaijōrama grabbed his things and proceeded to head home.

Once Yaijōrama was home or at the very least to the edge of the farm. He went to pull out the letter from his front pocket. When he did so the letter came out wrinkled and partially crumbled up. Yaijōrama went to take a seat on the ground causing some sand to stick to his clothes undoubtedly. “Let’s see what this is.” Yaijōrama went to tear open the top of the letter, not at all in a clean fashion. If he had to reseal this letter, then he wouldn’t be able to with the damage that was done.

When he pulled the letter from the envelope he went to flick it open. He noticed that he accidentally ripped part of the paper, not that it ruined the text too much but it was annoying. Yaijōrama’s eyes scanned the paper and he noticed it was just a location. “What? What is THIS!” Yaijōrama shouted to himself and pointed at the paper. “Who sends a raven, just to give a boy a letter, and all the letter is a LOCATION. No time? No notification who sent it? Am I meant to just show up and DIE?” Yaijōrama let out a deep sigh after his small rant. He let the thought sit with him for a couple of minutes before jumping up. “WAITI’MAGENINNOW!” Yaijōrama realized what this could be and quickly scooped up his bag and drink. Once he was standing Yaijōrama went into a sprint.

He was headed towards the location on the letter and he kept looking over it. He knew this was in the training grounds and that only helped to validate his thoughts even more. Who would send a letter to come to the training grounds if it wasn’t his new sensei? His friends wouldn’t do that nor would his brother. They’d just show up to his home or the training grounds themselves to find him. No one he knew sent letters but his father and he was an adult. A large grin grew on his face and he made it down the pathway leading to the training grounds. He was looking forward to this moment since he got his headband which was worn proudly on his forehead, with his hair mostly out of the way to show the symbol of Hoshigakure. In his long hair was a small cactus plant pinned to it, keeping his hair in place. He was wearing a pair of dark green overalls and a dark brown long sleeve shirt underneath. He was wearing a pair of dark brown shoes to match.

When Yaijōrama arrived at the location he suddenly came to a halt. He started in wonder and awe at the beautiful nature that grew within this part of the training grounds. What he saw first was how beautiful this part of the training grounds was. His eyes were drawn to the green grass that was sprawled out in front of them. How hadn’t he found this part of the training grounds before? He couldn’t answer that question, maybe it was his reluctance to look for new places to train. Yaijōrama slowly started to walk down the path, all the while looking around towards the trees that were grown. These trees were taller than the ones he had made before and they looked thicker. He knew he had the potential to create trees that big and even bigger, he was still in admiration. The sounds of nature were vibrant in the forest and he took in the sounds. The small chirping of the bugs to the ruffling of the leaves from those who lived above.

Yaijōrama nearly got lost in his admiration of the beauty of this forest. But he was brought back to why he had come here once he looked forward. When he had came to reality he was about 20 meters from the three. ;; There are others? ;; Yaijōrama thought to himself but quickly it was followed by him moving into a sprint. “Hey guys! What are we all doing here?!” He shouted as he noticed that the two closest to him were Maro and his brother. But as he got closer he realized there was someone standing in front of them.

He started at the details of his armor. ;; A shinobi with plate armor? Is he a samurai? ;; Yaijōrama had heard about samurais before but he didn’t think there were shinobi who were also ones. He came to a stop beside Maro and Akiorama. “Sorry if I’m late.” Yaijōrama said with a guilty expression and took a sip of his cactus juice, through his straw.

Yaijōrama was indeed late.

Tutelage of Consideration (IO) Empty Re: Tutelage of Consideration (IO)

Wed Dec 15, 2021 5:36 pm
His attention was abruptly snatched, well not really. He sensed the boy walking up to him before he even heard him. Tsuna’s sensory skill reached up to 10 meters in every direction. That meaning, he sensed the boy the moment he came into range. Both of his eyes would drift towards this one. His hand still on his chin, thinking. Upon first analysis, Tsuna read this boy like a book. From the way that he talked, the way he pieced things together. “Hello, Akiorama.” He said, a smile on his face. “This one is quite calm, rather collective as well. Seems like he was aiming to say the right thing, perhaps that’s why he said hello the way that he did. He’s very warm, that tells me he’s a positive thinker…optimism perhaps. That much positivity only means that he’s suffering from something behind closed doors…but what?” He thought to himself mentally. Tsuna was perhaps the village’s most intelligent shinobi that they have.

That’s good to hear, I hope I didn’t take you away from anything important, Akiorama.” He responded, judging from what he collected within that moment, he doubt that he did steal the boy’s time. If anything, he just gave it more value. His cyan eye would then noticed the arrival of another. This one was rather light on their feet, so much so that Tsuna wasn’t sure if Akiorama would even notice the towering Genin standing behind him. If not for the obvious shift in Tsuna’s eyes he probably wouldn’t have. “Hmm… This one comes off as quiet. He neither made himself assertive or passive, so he’s definitely a neutral soul. If I had to take a guess…I’d say he’s a introvert. Strong silent type. If that’s the case, he’s unpredictable. More so when angered. But his build is wild…what a guy.” He would think to himself mentally. The stare was intense, the Hoshimura immediately deduced that this guy was the protector sort and clearly these two already know each other. Tsuna would not bother him with words as he figured that he would only answer with more silence.

His right brow was then raised. Someone was within his range yet again. His eyes would glance to the far left as he would look directly in the direction of the girl that was doing her best to observe him and the other, while aiming to leave a hint of herself out. Tsuna didn’t need that hint, he could locate her just fine from where he stood. “That one clearly lacks social skills. Observing from afar, tells me she has a knack for reconnaissance. But I can sense that she’s more so focused her gaze on me, so she either knows these two, or is more concerned with me. So she does has some skill in that department. I’ll play along with her…for now.” He would think again, to himself mentally.

Finally they were all there, the last sprinting and greeting the others as he did. Tsuna looking at him with a gentle smile. He would analyze him as he interacts with them. “This guy…definitely has a strong personality. He reminds me of someone, the way he carries himself, it’s very open in a ‘what you see is what you get’ kind of way. He’s another optimistic one. That’s not bad, more opened minds are better than none, that’s what I think anyway. But I feel like he’s too optimistic and that can lead to a naïve personality which would sooner bite him in the hide than later.” He thought mentally.

No no, you’re not late at all. I didn’t give a timeframe purposefully. You’re all here.” He would realize that his statement of them being there would strike them as odd. With an open acknowledgment to his own mistake he would chuckle. Pointing directly at Haru as she hides. “Come join us! Don’t worry, I won’t make this interaction overwhelming for you, I promise!” He would say with ice in his voice to carry his words to her from afar. Giving her time to join them. He would then begin. “Thank you all for joining me today. Yes, as you surmised moments ago, Akiorama this is a meeting for your potential cell. I will be your Sensei, Tsunayoshi Hoshimura.” His name would, or should strike them with a realization that he was the village well-known chosen champion. He was once poor, without fame and a no name. Now he was on par with those of the Jounin tier. Nobles find themselves jealous as he out dressed them. He proved to be more political savvy then them as well. Tsuna was a man of many talents and he was also he captor of one of Stein’s children that are currently in lock up now.

He would give them time to gather their thoughts before he continued. “Please take heed that I said potential cell and not your new cell. That is because I am yet certain if I want to be your Sensei. No, this is not because I’m arrogant or believe that you are not worth my time, but because each of you have failed to make a good first impression. Already I have noted several key traits in you all and I’m not sure if that’s all a bad thing, or a good thing. So, I will have you each tell me about yourselves and give me a goal that your wish to achieve. Then we will take it from there.” He would say with a smile, but his gaze was intense and steely. He wasn’t joking with them, he was serious about everything that he said.

Tutelage of Consideration (IO) Empty Re: Tutelage of Consideration (IO)

Wed Dec 29, 2021 4:14 pm
Akiorama chuckled a bit and placed a hand at the back of his head, scratching it. "No no, nothing important. I was simply taking a walk and eating my favorite snack. In fact...I'd say I was looking forward to something happening today. So if anything, I'm glad that I arrived." Akiorama still analyzed Tsunayoshi even after exchanging their greetings. It was a habit that Akiorama wanted to establish for himself. As if building a Dossier for every person he met in his head.

Akiorama, like most genin, likely didn't notice Maro's approach. He never does as Maro was known for his silent movement despite his heavy build. But as always, his height wasn't a stealth advantage. His Shadow was enough for Akiorama to know someone was behind him. And noticing that the shadow was familiar, his instincts didn't flare up. Had that Shadow felt off, Akiorama wouldn't hesitate to spring into action. Though approaching from the back was a good way to get attacked. A reason that Akiorama took into account when approaching Tsunayoshi. He turned to look at his friend with his usual smile. "Hello Maro, nice to see you again. I hope you've been well!" There was no need to ask if Maro was here for the team or such. Akiorama had a feeling each note was the same because of how simple it was. Whoever he'd meet here simply gained the note as well. Akiorama turned back to look at Tsunayoshi as he knew Maro would likely respond with Silence. Which was okay. Akiorama simply didn't want to ignore his friend as he himself wouldn't like to be ignored. Should Maro talk with Akiorama he'd respond in kind however he didn't want to have his back turned towards Tsunayoshi. That would be rather rude of him.

Akiorama heard the sounds of someone running in the distance and he turned towards the sound. And there he was, his little brother. "Yaijorama! Good to see you again little brother." Akiorama was always happy to see his brother as he is always happy to see Maro. Maro and Yaijorama....If this truly is a team then this seemed quite coincidental. Not that Akiorama is complaining. How much more coincidental can this get? "I'm sure it'll all be explained in just a moment. But I think the reason may be that this will be our team" he'd say to his brother.

Seems like someone was here for a bit. Watching, much like Akiorama did. As much as Akiorama would have sat down and did some recon, He gotten enough information that he needed to go through with talking with Tsunayoshi. After all, someone needed to speak with him and there's more to learn from the voice, words, and swagger of a potential ally and opponent. Sure, Making yourself known isn't a good idea for a Shinobi. But being overly cautious and considering every situation to be dangerous despite the evidence being contradictory causes it's own slew of issues. Hesitation being the worst of them all. A healthy dose of paranoia was enough. As Akiorama is demonstrating. Not too close to Tsuna, so that there was room to move, dodge, and retreat. Speaking with Tsuna and trying to get a read on him. Constant analysis despite his rather calm and laid back demeanor. Akiorama understood the path of Shinobi. Or at the very least in his mind, Understood its basics. Who was this other person anyw-....If she truly did come down to join them than Akiorama would be rather surprised though not showing too much of it on his face. It was her. The girl that caught interest in his disease and the one he found interest in for a potential friend. The Clinical Doctor, straight to the point. A fine Shinobi in the making. She, like Maro, had the mindset at such an early age. But, like Maro, lacked a certain something that made them seem alien. There was no happiness within their souls. No love or laughter. Just purpose. Purpose without love is akin to a tool or doll. Something that Akiorama wanted others to avoid becoming. Whatever their reason, they were on the right side as far as Akiorama was concerned. But still...One day he'd like to see them smile and feel genuinely loved and at home. Safe and filled with a passion not seen by many others. He only became this way because he chose to give instead of take while he slowly died from his disease. He should've hated everything. While there is a dark side, while he does have hate...His desire to laugh, love, and live was much stronger. But regardless...any of this, whether true or false, was not the point. He was lost in thought and brought himself right back before Tsuna spoke. It was time to pay attention.

Hearing the name had sparked a semblance of knowledge in Akiorama. Yes...He read about him before. Hell, he's always heard of him. The man was the Village's champion. Akiorama saw Tsuna in a different light now that he fully realized. This man...was practically a role model in a way for the boy. Of course, he always believed in forging a path of his own but guidance may be needed for that. One must find the road before they can walk it alone and the search is always better with two heads. "I'm glad my educated guess was right, it is an honor to meet regardless, Tsunayoshi-Sensei." He'd bow in respect to the man. Though he'd quickly rise up once he began speaking again. "I...I see..." Akiorama was rather disappointed in himself. He had hoped he'd give a good first impression and it seems like he has failed the most basic thing. Hell, it was he was aiming for in the first place. A shame...But it can't be helped. No need to wallow in failure. Just learn and continue. The way of life. "Apologies for my bad fist impressions. Though I would like to ask...What made them bad in particular?" The best way to learn from one's mistakes to to understand what that was. Besides, Ninja should extract as much information as possible.

Akiorama would look at the others before looking back at Tsuna. "I shall start first then" Akiorama would say as he took one step forward. He cleared his throat. "My name is Akiorama Senju. I am the older brother to Yaijorama-" His eyes would motion to his little brother before returning back to Tsuna and the others. As this was information about himself it was important that he kept eye contact with every single person there. Not directly in the eyes but more at their figure. Easier to track and look between. Sure this was information Tsuna wanted but as a team it was important for them all to know. Even if the other two, Maro and Yaijorama, would likely know the most about him. Still, it never hurt to be polite. "and a genin like many others here. I enjoy peace and quiet, spreading love and happiness, and continuing to better myself. I'd very much like to make as many friends as a can and succeed as far as possible as a Shinobi. I am a practitioner of Taijustu and have started getting a keen interest in space-time arts. I enjoy reading books. Ones that I enjoy the most are on Medicine, Anatomy, Philosophy, and fictional stories of heroics, drama, romance, and action. My favorite thing to eat is Dango and I have a strong sweet tooth. As for my goal...I have quite a few but in the interest of things I'd like to simply name the one I care for the most." He smiled towards everyone "I want to protect my home and make sure that the people of this village know what it means to smile and be happy. I only want to give as much as I can and take as little as needed. Because when we find something and someone to love, I believe we can grow to be better. The best that we can possibly be." He laughed some and shrugged. "Probably sounds dumb, I know. But I had to be honest."

He simply stepped back and waited to hear what the next person said. He knew not everyone would like or agree with his side of things. It's a childish view. But what's wrong with that? It's alright. He didn't care for their thoughts. He did want to know about everyone else though.

Tutelage of Consideration (IO) Empty Re: Tutelage of Consideration (IO)

Wed Dec 29, 2021 4:58 pm
A tangible anger radiated off of Maro's towering form, but his visage remained the same, unchanging in its stoic appearance. What did Tsunayoshi mean by that? They had made bad first impressions? How? How could Akiorama, at the very least, have made a bad first impression? Could this 'champion' not see the potential in the two boys? It was surely enough to bypass whatever holdup he thought was important. Skill and talent were worth more than politeness, worth far more than first impressions. Still, he made no comment, no expression, nothing to outwardly show his irritation at Tsuna's poor insight, but the anger could still be felt like a wave of ill intent off of him.

Maro had not replied to the comments directed at him, never once taking his eyes off of their possible sensei. Even when Haru was pointed out for the rest, he did not turn his gaze away. This was an important day for the boys, far more than even they knew. They must succeed here; it was no time for games. That meant even Maro had to do his part for the boys' future. For their success. Though his gaze never broke from the man ahead of himself, he listened intently to Akiorama's words. He was a good boy, an excellent example of a teenager. Tsuna must've seen that when Akiorama spoke. The Senju boys were honorable. They were strong, brave, caring. Hard workers. Yaijōrama was a prodigy, talented and devoted. Akiorama was a child of pure willpower, pushing past every obstacle and keeping his heart with him the entire way. If Tsunayoshi didn't see that, then he was worthless.

Once the older brother finished speaking, there was a silence for some few moments. It was Maro's turn to tell the man about himself. He didn't want to, not at all, but one's own wants and needs were often the price of assuring another's wants and needs were met. A father sleeps on a floor to make sure his children have a bed. A mother goes without food to make sure her only son eats. A protector suffers discomfort to make sure the ones they protect succeed.

"I work to nurture the progress and potential of these two boys. You'd do well to do the same." The words came out slowly, flat in affect but thick with restrained rage not many saw or heard in the often-mute boy. They held a threatening aura to them, but it was not a threat of what would happen to Tsuna if he didn't take in the boys, but a threat of what he would miss if he didn't. This was an opportunity. This was Maro's goal. It was all there was to the boy, he considered. His expression broke into a slight, and short grimace after, both out of anger for Tsunayoshi and disgust at the requirement of his speech. His voice had been low, rumbling in his chest, but dry and unused.

He'd do what it took to get the prodigy children seen, even if he hated it.

Tutelage of Consideration (IO) Empty Re: Tutelage of Consideration (IO)

These are the moments when Haru felt the most at the moment. Observing, Watching, Analyzing. To be frank she is more of a scientist than a shinobi. Watching their little movements and expressions. It gives her swimming thoughts something to focus on. She wishes it lasted longer. The ironclad man spotted her. She expected as much but there was something odd about it. The way he did it. It was almost too easy. Did he even really look in her direction? she was so far off. The hint she gave of her presence wasn't something that could be felt. So he must be able to sense her somehow or perhaps it's a technique. Haru's interest was piqued and though she wished she could observe from afar more She did what she aimed to do. The man's perception is truly extraordinary and he should be treated with caution.

Haru adjusts her mask ensuring it's properly fastened and leaves her hiding place into the clear view of everyone. She gives the others a glance she is somewhat familiar with all of them. Unsure where her relation to them lies yet though. she supposes she has managed to become Akioramas doctor in a way. The man introduces himself and states the purpose of their meeting. A team? The notion had completely slipped her mind. She forgot entirely about teams. While she is not completely upset by the idea this could be cause for some concern she barely knows the others who have history and she is unsure of how well she will work with others. She will make it work though. She listens closely to the others introducing themselves. Akiorama first. Haru is doesn't know how to feel about his introduction. His optimism is truly something to behold. His motives are if what he says is to be taken in complete honesty extraordinarily selfless. It puts hers into perspective not that she will change her ideals. In truth, they both wish to see a better world. Their means are likely different. She is considering speaking afterward when She hears a voice from behind. its Maro. The mute spoke.  She figured him unable but she supposes it might be unwilling. When she thinks about it in some cases the two might be the same. He keeps it brief though. Another selfless goal though there is something else in it. she cannot put it into words but there is something hidden in there.

a few seconds pass and if Yaijorama doesn't speak then Haru does. She was been considering her words this time wondering what she will say there isn't much. She has always had one goal that drives her. She speaks her voice cold and punctual. "I am Haru Shiori. I am training in medical ninjutsu. My main goal in life is understanding and progress. I wish to know about the many secrets of the world. I will use the knowledge I gain to bring progress to the village." This was mostly true though Haru has grander ideas. If she can she would advance the world, she seeks the death of ignorance and from its body the flourishing of science and understanding. However, in time she has learned that her ideas aren't always well-received when spoken blatantly. She has a particular dislike of the shackles people put on themselves. outdated traditions, underdeveloped theories, and overbearing values. They limit the potential of the human mind. That is a sin she can't forgive.

Tutelage of Consideration (IO) Empty Re: Tutelage of Consideration (IO)

Yaijōrama listened to Tsunayoshi speak to them. The way he carried himself clearly showed a sense of status, power, and reputation behind it all. Though who Tsunayoshi was, Yaijōrama couldn’t really place yet. He was either a Chuunin or Jounin, but he didn’t wear the flak of either. He looked more like a Samurai… Someone from the Land of Iron maybe? Though once he spoke his name for the first time, the gears started to turn in Yaijōrama’s head. ;; This is Tsunayoshi Hoshimura… He’s a hero in Hoshigakure. They say his Space-Time is so great… Even the other Kages fear it. ;; Whether any of this was actually true or not didn’t really matter. It’s what Yaijōrama had heard around the Academy and from other Genin he spoke to during his time spent in the training grounds.

The excitement on his face was clear as he continued to think. Their Sensei was going to be a legendary shinobi. Someone of great status and power… Someone who HAD to take them to the top. Who knows what lessons he could provide them, what training plans he had, or even what dynamics they’d all form as a squad.

Just as typical for Yaijōrama, he was getting ahead of himself. Because Tsunayoshi’s next statement came swift just like the harsh reality of life. A bad first impression… Yaijōrama looked at the cactus juice in his right hand and the bag that was held in his left hand. He felt like such a fool for bringing these two things. This was an important meeting for his future and he was willing to risk it for some very very good food? Maybe but right now he couldn’t let that happen. His excited expression faded just as quickly as it came and a look of worry spread across his face. He was about to ask what he did wrong but his brother already got to it first. If Tsunayoshi was going to answer Akiorama, maybe he’d include everyone else in his assessment as well.

Yaijōrama listened to everyone speak their goals and as he expected his brother spoke the most and had goals much similar to him. Maro’s goal was a bit concerning to him, he didn’t want Maro to live his life purely thinking about himself and his brother. That made him feel like a slave, someone with no purpose of their own. That’d have to be something he went back to and tried to help push Maro past. He let Haru go before him and when it was his turn, Yaijōrama cleared his throat.

Yaijōrama let his worried expression change once more to more of a hopeful look. “My name is Yaijōrama Senju III and I’m the younger brother of Akiorama.” Yaijōrama went to move about a little, walking in between the group back and forth while he spoke. “I like tofu but more specifically tofu burgers, ice-cream, birds, and ACTING.” Yaijōrama did a small spin on the balls of his feet and looked towards Tsunayoshi directly. “I dislike lemons, so never lemon flavored ice-cream… Excessive spending, I believe the rich should give to the poor, and riddles. I hate riddles, they never make any sense.” Yaijōrama shook his head and let a look of determination appear as he got to the part he figured Tsunayoshi cared about the most. “My goal as a shinobi is a big one. I wish to become the Hogokage. The Hogokage is one of the strongest people in the village, everyone looks towards them when things get hard. I want to have that strength… The strength that people can depend on and when I arrive? They know they’re safe and that everything will be okay.” Yaijōrama went to take a sip of his cactus juice afterwards.
