What it does: The user teleports, vanishing from one point and reappearing at another.

Upon casting the technique, the user designates a point of their body as an origin point. This origin point is one inch in diameter, and the teleportation effect expands outwards at jutsu speed. If a user is halfway through teleporting, for example, and the not-yet-teleported half of their body gets blown up, they will be missing that half of their body when they arrive at their destination. The user becomes suffused in the flash of light immediately upon the beginning of the technique, so the origin point is not visible to the naked eye.

This technique has two usages - short range or long range. The short range version can be used to warp to any point within twenty meters of the user. The long range version may be used to warp to any point the has been to before in a thread (so backstory doesn't count). The user may only teleport to the interior of a village if they have visited it within the last OOC year, and it has not had to be re-app'd since their last visit. The short range version of this technique cannot be used to exit a thread.

The user cannot arrive within three meters of another character with the short-range version of this technique, or within five meters with the long-range. This distance includes any of their equipment or active techniques (so they cannot teleport their body three meters away from somebody with a spear at the ready to gore them from point blank, as an example, or warp in five meters from someone with a twenty meter AoE up).

If the user teleports into a solid substance, the overlapping substance will be destroyed if the power of this technique is greater than that substance's health. If the substance's health is greater, the overlapping part of the user's body will be destroyed instead. The user's body will always arrive in the same physical stance with which they departed, but they are free to change up which direction they are facing.

This technique cannot be activated if the user has a phasing technique active.

For an additional cost of 25AP per additional being, the user may teleport up to two others with them. This requires physical contact to initiate.
