Sentinel (Snishizaka)

The desert sky was clear of cloud and debris for the first time in weeks, and the scarred girl stood sentinel at the foot of the massive gate. One acid yellow eye surveyed the surrounding desert for any possible intruders, looters, or worse- enemy ninja come to finish off the job. She wore a simple red kimono top with no sleeves, revealing the extensive burns up and down her left arm, and black shorts which revealed the same about her legs. Her feet were bare- the blistering sand didn't particularly bother the girl, anyhow. She reached up with her left hand and rubbed at the bandages which still covered her left eye. Her face was expressionless, in contrast to the occasional civilians who gave her odd glances behind the woman. She understood- she had mostly stuck to herself upon her arrival in Suna, serving largely as Kenshin's shadow. On the other hand, she was relatively young, and from their point of view they most likely saw her as an orphaned young girl who had been taken in by the Ragdoll. The assumption was wildly incorrect, but it amused her and did no harm. Eventually, as the day progressed and the sun made its peak, they made their ways indoors, so as not to get heat stroke.

She was technically supposed to be taking it easy, but... well. If she didn't have something to do, Amaterasu got antsy. Eventually, she wandered out here on her own to serve as an impromptu gate guard, which seemed to be working fine for her. A lone vulture streaked through the sky with a loud cry. Still alone, she'd stay sentinel until night fell.

It was a good day. It was time to head north-east and south to find something new. He would be at the gates.

The blue skinned stranger would walk up to twenty meters away from her before she called out. Should he have any common sense, he would listen to her demands. "Halt!" Amaterasu called out, to him, arms to her side and ready to strike out should he prove to be a threat. "The village is closed. Turn away, outsider."

Should he attempt to attack her or move closer, she would clap her hands together after a sharp inhale, and flames would dance about her form.

Should he seem more diplomatic, however, she would warily eye him from her spot on the sand.

They were twenty meters away though he couldn't care less about what she was saying. She was all big talk and no action. Snishizaka grinned and was annoyed by how disrespectful this person was as if she owned the gates of this village.

He clapped his hands together and surrounded himself with a thick coat of armor; it was glowing bright blue glow. 

If she made any moves, he would pull out a kunai from his pocket throwing at the direction she moves in aiming for her massive tiny small-minded head.

As soon as he raised his hands to clap, the girl's eyes would narrow, and simultaneously her left fist would fly out. Blue flames would erupt from her extended fist, bolting forwards at a speed of 75. Two massive claws would form as it flew, climbing ten meters to each her left and right side, for a total of twenty meters in width. It would blister down the sands, turning it to jagged glass as it traveled, coming for a collision from the stranger's left, right, and front. Should he not successfully avoid the attack, it would hit almost immediately after he threw the kunai, turning it into melted slag that fell to the ground in the process, and impact him as he was forming the ram seal.

Should all actions proceed as such, he would die before he had the chance to launch any jutsu. His body, notably, would not be destroyed; after all, due to a power of 70 and Snishizaka’s current DR of 20. His skin would, however, be left nastily charred and quite possibly smelling of either cooked pork or cooked fish as the case may be.

Yeah, he was dead as a piece of dead meat.  Burnt through, completely gone. He is now heading back to wonderland a place in the after-life.

Inhale. Exhale. There was no response. Tentatively, she cancelled the jutsu and surveyed the jagged glass path that she had wrought. At the end, there lay the charred remains of the stranger's figure. She paused for a moment to catch her breath, letting out a heavy sigh before collecting the body and all on it. Maybe Kenshin would be interested in it...
