What Must Be Done Feat Tanji Heiji (P, NK) Empty What Must Be Done Feat Tanji Heiji (P, NK)

Tue Jul 02, 2019 1:18 am
31 SUMMER, 419AV

It was a brand new day. A smirk appeared from Yasaki prepared for a portion of things.  As the sun was breezing throughout the window, it was a brand new day. His soft comfy pillow would be around his head, covering himself from the glamorous shining bright sunlight showing up from the window. He woke up from his bed and tided his room.  As his eyes searched the room, the uchiha determined to go downstairs and fulfil his destiny. He looked at his local mirror, and switched on his gleaming red three eyed monster, whirled with hate. Yasaki stared at the mirror, and with that he closed his eyes. And he opened them with ease. His eyes returned to normal, as the uchiha had an occasion to re-call his minutes of life. With every second moving by, he was blissful.

He was nibbling. Yasaki took a wholesome bite of his short sized bread. The mouth of his wide open, chomping the insignificant bits of the dough. On his left hand drinking away his number one of all, caffeine. With his items packed and ready the Jonin was all in for today's treat.  He would remember those days where he's favorite was a good old' coffee as his daily ritual.  Each morning he would have at-least one cup of it. He was a coffee addiction, but that didn't change who he was. It made him who he wanted to be, Yasaki.

Yasaki left his house with his Jounin flak jacket it seemed the town was a little quiet since it was morning, and so he headed to a nearby coffee shop where he would take his order and wait for his coffee. His confirmation successful made and one charm magnificent girl got him his coffee planted with a plate underneath. As he would turn his head, he was busy looking at her chests. "Excuse me." She said in a tone of furious. Yasaki flashed out of it and took his coffee whilst drinking it, daydreaming his life with every sip he took.

He took off the scene a messenger appeared stating that Hogokage had summoned him, and he rushed to see his beloved kage. As he reached the office, he would knock and await with respect.

What Must Be Done Feat Tanji Heiji (P, NK) Empty Re: What Must Be Done Feat Tanji Heiji (P, NK)

Tue Jul 02, 2019 6:03 pm
The private war room adjoining the Hogokage's chambers was a mess. Stacks of papers covered the central desk, snapshots of various religious figures were pinned to the walls, and a half-empty decanter of questionable color stood at the center of it all. Tanji Heiji's plans were all starting to coalesce to into a single aim and soon it would be time to strike. The expulsion of a large portion of Hoshigakure's shinobi would serve as all the cover the Hogokage needed to make his move to stabilize the Village Hidden in the Stars once and for all. The distant knock on his chamber's door, however, reminded him that action would have to wait; in the meantime, he would continue to coil like a spring until he could finally strike.

Closing the war room door behind him, the kage made his way into his main chambers, taking a seat behind what had become his desk. This would surely be Yasaki Dosser, one of the few remaining Hoshigakure loyalists and one of the pawns in Tanji's masterplan for power consolidation. Indeed, the man would soon be playing the unenviable role of unwitting accomplice.

"Please, come in,"
the dark-haired kage called to the closed door from behind his desk.

Tanji would then wait for one of the few men in Hoshigakure who cut a more imposing figure than himself to enter. In fact, the other man's large physique was why he was here today. Sure, he was an accomplished shinobi, but the Hogokage needed someone who would strike fear into the hearts of those he hunted and that man would be Yasaki, hopefully.

What Must Be Done Feat Tanji Heiji (P, NK) Empty Re: What Must Be Done Feat Tanji Heiji (P, NK)

It was about time for the uchiha to support his village. He tapped on the door standing by for the KAGE approval to enter. Yasaki felt honoured and blissful. He was wearing his Jounin Flak Jacket, a jacket which he got for his achievements as a heroic Jounin. Yasaki, a tall lanky individual Six Feet Nine and Weighs about Two Hundred And Fifty LBS. He was a titan, and upon coming in the kage's office he felt tiny for the door. Bowing his head down underneath he didn't wish to damage his back after all and smirked with a precious grin to the Kage.

He communicated with an expression with filled with dignity, as he came in the kage's office he would extend his left hand, and attempting a stiff handshake.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Hogokage." As he said, with praise and respectability. It felt they finally recognized him, a grin beamed on Yasaki's face. He was looking at the kage with a solid manner, an expression where one would be acceptable.

"So, I believe you have summoned me to your office? How may I help Lord Hogokage?" He was standing awaiting a response from his kage.

What Must Be Done Feat Tanji Heiji (P, NK) Empty Re: What Must Be Done Feat Tanji Heiji (P, NK)

Fri Jul 05, 2019 2:26 pm
“Elbows up, and mind the feet.” A voice chimed out through the crowded dojo. Despite the soft nature, the sound still found the ability to permeate the room for every kid to hear. The dojo was already sweltering, sweat pouring off the numerous students in line. Each young cadet was an exact stance away from the next, the lines forming perfect angels.....it was beautiful. “On my Mark!” Shiva would say speaking only an octave higher, and as she did each of the students moved to the proper stance.

“1......” The cadets would unleash a single punch, “2.....” the follow up strike. “3........”. A quick kick following up the former. “Mark!” The last word shouted louder, and on that exact command each student moved to make the deal of confrontation before transforming. Now she stood in front of herself over a dozen times. Her white eyes filled with delight. Shiva’s chief responsibility was the school, the training of would be shinobi. It was a position she held with the highest of pride, and despite her lack of true field experience no one had exited her class and been worse for it. Today was a day of reflection as she made her way out of the dojo being harassed by the would be shinobi all the way.

It was her first ever summons by the Hogokage, and in truth despite her senior shinobi status she had spent very little time concerned with the true politics of the city/shinobi village. She’d been given a job she enjoyed, and she sought little else besides the occasional escape. Now however, she found herself personal summoned. Perhaps she had done something wrong, with that her mind raced through lesson plans and performance reviews and yet she found nowhere to be concerned.

Her normal attire was much more loose, it was more relaxed as someone who very rarely saw true action, yet today she had opted with the official uniform. Her Hoshigakure flak jacket cinched tight, black pants and white hair pulled into a high and tight pony tail that still made to it’s way to mid back. Her distinct white eyes flowed over the Hogokage building. Sighing she felt her head tilt to the side. “Well here goes nothing....”. She thought resolutely.

Making her way into the building she found the secretary who informed her the other invitee has already arrived and was in the appointed meeting room. Frowning, she quickly moved the rest of the way and found she could hear someone speaking.

Picking up the pace she was able to catch the door and enter as Yasaki finished talking. Next to him she was dwarfed. Standing only at five feet 6 inches, and weighing 115......with the flak jacket in, it was hard to say the two were the same species. Like wise her shimmering white hair clashed against her fellow villager. The contrast was even completed by clans.....something she was trying very hard not to think about. Her duty was the village, her life was loyalty, and that meant swallowing your pride from time to time. “Master......”. She would bow deeply, “my apologies I was finishing up the annual Tai jutsu assessment at the University.”

Maintaining the bow she would await his voice before she resumed her soldierly stance.

What Must Be Done Feat Tanji Heiji (P, NK) Empty Re: What Must Be Done Feat Tanji Heiji (P, NK)

"Keep your arms steady and your aim true. That's it," the sound of an elder man instructing someone as an arrow that was once nocked flew through the air and into the target some twenty meters down the homemade range. With a small sigh the bow was slowly settled by their waist and the other hand went through the blackened hair to push a few strands upward. The man, Ryouma Maburi, looked to his grandfather with a small smile, satisfied with his results," Its only been so long since I had a new bow, but this one is definitely nice. Thank you grandfa- I mean Master Maburi. You have been a great help to me and now I feel as if I'm being rude for not returning the favor," the old man simply laughed as he patted the other chocolate skinned male on the back, assuring him that nothing was needed for giving his heir the tools to succeed. It was at this moment that he would have gotten a missive from the Kage building which required his attention.

Taking the scroll into his hand, Ryouma read over it quickly before returning it to its closed state and bowing to his grandfather," Duty calls Master. I shall see you later," and with that he was out of the door and into the streets of Hoshi. The streets had always been a little busy, if not aggressive in the past but due to recent events it feels as if they had slowed a bit. With the bow gripped in his left hand, he found himself reaching back for a moment to straighten his cloak and quiver which had been on his side as he walked so the two didn't clash with one another. It didn't take him that long to arrive to the building in which the Hogokage resided in. He wasn't sure what to expect from the man beside his display during the gates incident, but there was surely something more to the man that met the eye. As he strolled up and toward the office, he could see that the door was jarred and shadows were facing out of it. A small tilt of his head met his confusion as he walked in, seeing two others and moving toward the right so that his visage could be seen by the Kage himself," Lord Tanji.," the words were met by the males free hand moving toward his chest in the form of a fist, a simple greeting to someone of his stature. With no further words he stood with the bow in hand and waited for the man to speak on why he was here.

What Must Be Done Feat Tanji Heiji (P, NK) Empty Re: What Must Be Done Feat Tanji Heiji (P, NK)

Sat Jul 06, 2019 4:38 pm
Hoshigakure's newest Hogokage waited in silence as each of the individuals he summoned filtered into the room one by one. There was the monstrous Yasaki Dosser, the ghost-like Shiva Hyuuga, and, the last to arrive, dark-skinned Ryouma Mabuchi. Indeed,  the trio could not be more disparate in appearances, but that did not bother Tanji in slightest. What mattered to him was their shared dedication to the village. When others fled, they remained and, for that, they would be rewarded with the chance to truly change their home for the better. And, if they could do that? Well, then they would win the Hogokage's hard-won trust, a feat few ever accomplished in their lives.

"Good Morning, Yasaki, Shiva, and Ryouma," he nodded to each in turn as he spoke their names. "Please, do not bother standing on ceremony here, I have no interest in it."

His dark gaze rested on Shiva for half a moment more than the others before continuing in the same deep almost melancholy voice as before—he always hated when people bowed to him.

"Nonetheless, I appreciate you all coming here on such short notice and I apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused," as he spoke the large kage rose from his seat and turned his back to the trio to look out the large window that served as the room's only natural light source. "As you all know, our village was recently dealt a near-mortal blow by our former leader Valen Akari. Abusing his standing in the village, he spirited away a good portion of our defense force, leaving us in a less than ideal situation."

He paused here, considering his next words carefully.

"For the time being, those who left the village along with that white-haired traitor are of no concern to us," he turned to face the trio once more. "Rather, we will direct our efforts to the few traitors who remain within our walls, the unfortunate few who did not report for duty must face justice for their negligence. As such, I will be tasking you three with the pursuit and capture of these traitors."

Pulling three tightly wrapped scrolls from his desk, the Hogokage placed them on the surface in front of him before continuing.

"Enclosed in these scrolls are the particulars of this mission with the names of those who you are to hunt down and their last known location," his tone took on a more serious edge. "You are to work together to capture these individuals and bring them in alive if at all possible. Unlike other villages, I will not have us shooting first and asking questions later."

A wry smile slipped across the man's face, underlining his next words.

"And, in that spirit, do any of you have any questions?"

The large kage then fell silent. The trio before him was certainly not the elite of the elite, but they would do. Tanji never much cared for the village's upper echelon of ninja anyhow; the titles of 'Queensguard' and 'Nova Corps' were synonymous with unearned privilege to the kage.  He much preferred those he could work with and these three seemed to be just that or so he hoped.

What Must Be Done Feat Tanji Heiji (P, NK) Empty Re: What Must Be Done Feat Tanji Heiji (P, NK)

Tue Jul 09, 2019 1:07 am
It was about a while things was about to clear up, with the recent hogokage in arrange the community dropped. He came into his office whilst his hands crossed, awaited for his response. A small scrawny little girl appeared, and Yasaki couldn't look down to her or else his back. He was a tall individual, so he looked down to her whist that another male appeared and shifted his focus back to his hogokage. Yasaki had a smirk on his face, a smile where he was blissful. As they offered the good morning, he nodded to back his hogokage and listened up.

Yasaki stayed focused the entire time listening to what was being said. A lot of things was being said by the kage and it was interesting for Yasaki. As the hogokage mentioned the short notice and for the inconvenience, Yasaki nodded with full respect. With a villain coming to his village, causing abuse and taking a portion of the villages defense force, this guy wasn't a one to play with, but that didn't matter to Yasaki, serving for his village and protecting them at all costs was his desire and what he was born to do.

This mission was going to be capturing those who fled and did not report to the hogokage. By capturing these traitors it was going to be a tough mission, and whatever that was in front it was going to be dealt. Yasaki was eager to meet these traitors, ready to flush them back into a secret wonder-world. But he had to respect the hogokage's orders and just be himself and not allow them to control his feelings. He continually looked at the kage who pulled out three scrolls placing them on a table and awaited to what the kage they said. He took one of the scroll from the table as the hogokage finished his speech.

A scroll with names and those who the team was going to be hunting down and last location. Yasaki had a team with him, but they would work together and pursue this mission successfully. He hasn't met them yet, but was determined and delighted to get to know these individuals. With the kage finishing up his last speech it was about working together and getting the job done with nobody gets hurt. He nodded to what was being said the hogokage last speech ended if anybody was interested in asking a question.

Yasaki replied in a tone of calmness. "Whatever you have requested, Kage I will leave a smile across your face and without a doubt hunt these false traitors who have disappointed you." He would have the scroll on his left hand, waiting for the next movement.

What Must Be Done Feat Tanji Heiji (P, NK) Empty Re: What Must Be Done Feat Tanji Heiji (P, NK)

Tue Jul 09, 2019 4:09 pm
Upon the overture of the Hogokage’s voice Shiva resumed a stance of respect from her bow.  Her stark white eyes stared straight back into Tanji’s.  She had heard the man disliked formalities, and the rumors seemed to be true, however there was still a thing as decorum.  As long as he wore that hat, he would receive the respect the office held, she hoped in time he would gain the same respect for it.

As the leader began to talk Shiva thought upon his words.  Flashes in memories ran across her minds eye as clear as her byakugan saw.  The shinobi leaving the village, the discord it had sewed.  She remembered answering the questions of many students as fear creeped through their faces at the thought they’d soon man the wall prior to being ready.  Her own curriculum had picked up pace, as she fought to be as proactive to a reactive scenario as one could be.

There had been rumors that some traitors had remained, taking the loss of the higher ranking shinobi as a way to slink to the underground.  She felt her face twist in disgust as the lack of loyalty.  The whispers had said they now lived in the sewers, or had taken up position with the former crime syndicates, even maintaining a place in the houses of ill repute set up by a long gone trickster.  These thoughts brought disgust, and in equal measure pride that she had been chosen for such a task, when her life as a teacher had already been a great honor.

The scrolls where placed, and she watched as the Uchiha had grabbed his own.  Hasty.  His words fell on deaf ears, as she continued to ignore him and focus on the Kage before her.

His smile, and admission to being open for questions caused Shiva to take a small gulp, as she stepped forward and grabbed her scroll.  Her movements whispy and flowing.  Her silver light hair moved and seemed to reflect blues and reds that were absent in the room, but were the colors inside of her.  Taking her position back in line, her voice tinkered forth.  “Master, what is to be their fate if we are to bring them alive?”  It was a simple question, but one she was already pondering.  In the past their death warrants would have already been signed, yet this Kage who was already at contrast with the past had not done so, furthering himself apart.  While she did not know of much about the man, her respect for him had already increased.

I have a crop of willing and capable genin I have been training.  Shall I bring them with me?  Or would you prefer this mission done in secret by us three?”  Would be her follow up question.  She had already more questions to ask then the red eye next to her.  With that she would stay in resolute stance, allowing the chunin to her right to ask questions if he had one.  Her eyes had watched both men, and introspectively hereslef.  This was not a crack team, nor a gathering of much.  She wondered to herself about the Kages true long term.

What Must Be Done Feat Tanji Heiji (P, NK) Empty Re: What Must Be Done Feat Tanji Heiji (P, NK)

Sun Jul 14, 2019 2:10 am
The other two were unknown to the black haired male, but one thing was for sure as far as he could tell- they were at least capable of holding their own. The room reeked of different chakra signatures though he did not focus on that in the slightest. Instead he focused on the words of Tanji and shook his head," Our home is facing troubling times and you called on us to help with whatever it was that you saw fit. It is no inconvenience to me that you called, but an honor if we're being honest. To be truthful just sitting around does nothing for my training," though he was more so speaking of himself, he had no real inkling what the other two would probably think of this. None the less he piped down and listened to the reason the three were called here.

The object of their meeting wasn't to discuss the recent events of the village, lead once by Valen Akari who had taken most of their forces. Instead it was to deal with the ones who had stayed behind and did not answer the call of their new Kage. Dealing with traitors wasn't within the realm of possibility for the young Shinkou, but it was the specific request to bring them back without harm that caused him to raise a brow. Normally one would hunt traitors and put them on the spot for the mere fact that they had secrets about the village that didn't need to see the light of day. Maybe Tanji had an objective to bring them back into the fold and give them redemption or a chance to prove themselves. Maybe on the other hand he wanted to be the one to give them justice with his own hands. Regardless of the fact these were the orders of their superior and he wouldn't necessarily question them.

Once the scrolls were passed out he took one of the last ones and opened it, looking through the names for any familiars before seeing just how extensive the list was. A small sigh escaped his lips as he slowly closed the scroll and put it within the ninja pouch under his cloak before speaking," I have only one question concerning the traitors. Will they be meted out judgement by your hands or will you be giving them one last chance to come back to us?," it was good to know the heart of your leader because if one didn't then you could easily be next in the grand scheme of things. For now he would wait for his response, no doubt knowing the answer, but it was nice to have confirmation.

What Must Be Done Feat Tanji Heiji (P, NK) Empty Re: What Must Be Done Feat Tanji Heiji (P, NK)

Sun Jul 21, 2019 3:51 pm
"It need not be secret, Shiva," Tanji clarified with a shake of his head. "However, the shinobi you will be hunting will be well beyond the level of genin and, because of that, I would prefer if you three be the ones to spearhead it without assistance from anyone below the rank of chuunin."

Truth be told, the Hogokage held onto hope that those foolish enough to remain in the village would remain peaceful. He could not, unfortunately, guarantee it and so it was best to air on the side of caution when it came to who he assigned to complete the mission. After all, he doubted that he would be able to stomach it if a bright-eyed genin were to meet his or her end in a mission they weren't qualified to be on—it would break the man's large heart.

"And, to both your and Shiva's concern about the fate of these soon-to-be prisoners," he gave a half nod to Ryouma. "They will stand trial like anyone else in our village and be assigned a punishment in accordance with our village laws. When not at war I lack the power of life and death over citizens of Hoshigakure; I trust in our justice system to perform the duty it was made to do."

One might fault Tanji for being naive, but it, he believed, worked in his favor. It was better to be lenient in matters such as these, at first anyway. After all, if he were to go around executing all defectors, it would ward off any who wished to return. Naturally, if the situation called for it, the man would mete out extra-judicial justice but, for the moment, it was far better to play the benevolent leader. He did not yet wish to cement himself as a ruthless ruler without morals—there would be time for that later when the state of the village called for it, but that was not now.

"Now," he took a seat once more. "If there are no further questions, I leave this mission to your three and trust that you will keep me informed of your progress."
