It was market day in Hoshigakure. Masashi was going to the market square himself. He could have sent a servant but he was looking for plants and herbs to use in his research. This would be something that he would need to do as his employees did not have the same level of knowledge that he did in this regard. As he wandered up and down the streets filled with stalls, he marveled at all the goods that people brought for others to purchase. There were very few people unfortunately that were selling items that Masashi was interested in. He would spend as much time as he possibly could at each one of the vender’s stalls, searching through all of their wares for the hope that something they had was not already on Masashi’s lists of acquired herbs. It would seem though that his excursion would be in vain. Not a single merchant had anything new for him to add to his collection. Masashi would sigh disappointedly after a fruitless endeavour. ‘It was bound to happen. He thought to himself as he went through the rest of the market stalls, examining their goods if only to see if there was anything unusual that may pique his interest outside of his original reason for being there in the first place. Nothing there really jumped out at him, so Masashi would end his outing there and return home for the night. ‘Perhaps I’ll need to visit the wildlife reserve again.’
