Cloud of Blood

To say Dragon was frightened was not even the word. As he walked in the lightning region towards the village of Kumogakure he had come face to face with mist that was deep gray and small spots of red as if blood had been absorbed in the mist. He was currently walking on ground that was so soft where he thought it was quicksand. He seemed to be moving slower than he actually was. This would cause him to frown. Making him wonder why the ground was as it is. Shaking his head trying to get the thoughts away he would continue to walk forward. But upon hearing moans of what seemed like pain he would look around. Then he saw it...well them. Thousands of if not millions of spikes were everywhere in the vicinity of himself. On the spikes were what seemed like...people? Looking harder he would see that indeed they were humans. Causing his eyes to open wide as he ran forward towards what seemed like a gate for the village. Hopefully the village of Kumogakure where he could be allowed safe passage. Getting to the gates he would come to see at least 3 ninja if not that maybe more in hiding. They were guarding the gates. When they seen Dragon running they would extend their hands saying halt."Stay where you are and state why you are here." Said the guard in the middle. Opening his mouth Dragon would say "I come from the wind country in hopes to find signs of my grandfather. I was hoping to be allowed sometime to rest within this village." Said Dragon as he inhaled the smells of the near dead bodies.
