Far too forgiving

Betrayal is something Takeo had doubted he could ever forgive. He had felt that way when Den and Shinji had abandoned the village. He had also felt the same way when the village had turned against him and allowed their savior to be usurped by a complete stranger. Time it seemed was the best medicine to heal such wounds. It felt strange, wandering back into the village and exchanging pleasant greetings with the locals as if they hadn't stabbed him in the back. As ever, he was far too forgiving. Takeo had realised as much when he had spent time away, all the times in which he had forgiven people far too easily. And here he was, doing it all over again. Really he was too nice for his own good. First order if business of course was to check up on Xyxer, the poor boy was probably lonely without him.
