Sigan's tourney prep (P,NK)

After having reviewed the tournament roster Sigan knew he stood little chance of succeeding as he were. This posed a problem and halted his path to his dream. Alas all that was left was to train his body, mind, and soul. With that thought in mind Sigan stood up from his kitchen table, sending papers shuffling in attempts to fall off. The sound of the rifled paper was not the only sound to be heard as outside the sky bellowed a downpour upon the mountainside. Sigan gazed out the window across the room and

lost himself for a moment. This rain will be a great way to build stamina. Shaking his head clear Sigan turned towards his bed and ran his cold blue gaze over the surroundings. Unsure of the reason behind that action he shook his head once more. He must be nervous...A curious feeling as it had not occurred to him since his days living on the streets. Without allowing further distraction Sigan stepped out into the cold, wet embrace that welcomed him back into the world. The water was cool and heavy as it

cascaded down upon the landscape and Sigan. Though Sigan's bodysuit repelled the soaking weight of the droplets, his coat and scarf did not. Already he began to feel his burdens weigh down upon him. "Yes...this will do nicely" he thought aloud. Turning on his heels, Sigan began a light jog towards the Training grounds. As he jogged he focused on expanding his senses outward as he also sent a minute sum of chakra to the soles of his boots in case he approached a puddle. The weather had the streets mostly

empty, with the exception of a few stragglers dashing for safe haven from the Sky's drooling maw. Sigan on the other hand felt at home. He did recall a time in his childhood when he used to play in similar weather in the Forrest of Slanting Rain. His mind carried on to back out of his past and focus on his chakra, breathing, and senses. His coat began to sag with new density as did his scarf that now hung as if it struggled to cling to his face. His attention drifted to a civilian family whom ran with

coats held high above their heads. He could tell they were not shinobi due to how little chakra they had. They Sensory mental vision reminded him of hollow statues with a small ball of light blue at their core. Sigan spared a moment in his thoughts for a brief, concealed smirk. Oh how terrified they could be had he the reason to lay his genjutsu upon them.
