Sparring with Denkiteki [Private, No Kill]

Flash rolled out of bed and landed on is feet, he found himself surprisingly alert and awake for waking up at 7:00. Flash got on his tracksuit and strapped his Heaven’s Sorrow Ninjato to his left hip so that the hilt of the sword was facing upwards. Using his great Fuinjutsu prowess, Flash had recently created a new technique that allowed him to transport weapons with special tags on them to special seals on his hands. He had attached one such tag to his ninjato, and one such tag to a kunai, just to test out the technique. Flash examined the intricate Kanji of the Weapon Summoning Seal on his palms, he was appalled at what just a simple word written on his hand could do. Next, Flash strapped Pain to his back so that the hilt of the vicious sword was poking up over his left shoulder. This was the blade that blade he had spilt his first blood with. Flash then took his weapons pouch containing his kunai, smoke bombs, and a scroll about Naruto Uzumaki. He did not know why he had this, but whatever. Flash looked at his Tengakure headband, shimmering in the sunlight coming in through his window, he gently removed the headband from his bureau, showing respect for his village. Flash tied the headband around his forehead in the way that was customary for shinobi. Lastly, Flash took his favorite item, his Toad Summoning Scroll, and strapped it to his back so that it formed an X with Pain. He made sure to position the scroll so that it did not inhibit his ability to quickly draw Pain from his back. Flash had made sure to wake up and leave the house before his parents had gotten up, as he was still grounded from his week long departure and he full well knew that they would not let him leave the house. Flash deftly hopped down the stairs, landing silently as to not disturb his parents. He knew that there would be a heavy price to pay when he returned home, but hey, this was the price for training to become a great shinobi. Flash made his way out to his favored training spot, the country borders, he knew that he could always rely on a powerful sparring partner to show up there. Flash made it to the borders in about 25 minutes; the day was still very young. Flash scanned the area around him and the horizon, searching for an opponent. Unfortunately, he found none at this time. Flash would notice that the area was littered with logs and tree limbs about the size and mass of himself, he grinned, as this would be the ideal spot for making quick substitutions. He sat down on one such log and waited for a strong opponent to show up. He was hoping that they were worthy of sparring, but not so strong that the fight would be over quickly. He had a few techniques that he was hoping to try out...

Denkiteki walked through the country borders, it was the first time he had been to the mainland in some time. He wanted to get away from Kirigakure for a little while, away from his duties and the strange things that had begun happening around there.

Denkiteki wore his standard Chuunin outfit, everything fitting him as perfectly as it had the day he bought it. Even though he was a Jounin now, he had yet to replace his gear. It was completely unscratched, Denkiteki had never been hit while wearing this gear. It could be viewed as lucky by some, but Denkiteki didn’t believe in such things.

Denkiteki’s ring was on his left index finger, though it was more than just a simple ring. With enough chakra poured into it, Denkiteki could make the ring transform into a powerful sword.

Denkiteki’s kunai pouch was strapped to the outer part of his left thigh. If needed Denkiteki to easily reach into it and pull out a single kunai, or multiple knives if he wanted to. His larger pouch, which contained all of his other weapons in it, was strapped to his back and rested right above his rear. It was closer to his right side than his left, meaning he could reach into it with his right hand and pull out a weapon or two without moving around the others. Both pouches were of course strapped onto Denkiteki the correct way. Denkiteki’s Kirigakure headband shone proudly on his forehead as he strolled through the countryside.

Denkiteki spotted another boy as he went on his walk, who for some reason was in a field full or branches and logs. What he was doing there? Denkiteki did not know. Curious, Denkiteki moved to the boy, practically teleporting to a spot 3 meters in front of the Tengakure nin. The spot Denkiteki had picked had no logs or branches within 2 feet of it, so Denkiteki’s feet touched the ground without landing on any objects.

It seemed the boy had just sat down a moment before Denkiteki had spotted him, and Denkiteki would appear in front of him as he scanned for opponents.

“Hmm, so what are you doing here on the borders? Haven’t you hurt this place is dangerous?” Denkiteki’s voice would sound rather ominous as he spoke. He would remain silent for a moment and wait for the boy’s response, if the boy recoiled in fear or made an expression that showed he was scared, Denkiteki would laugh, having just been messing with the kid. However he was ready if the boy took the joke to seriously and attempted to attack him.

Flash saw a boy immediately materialize a few meters in front of him, he would immediately jump up from the log he was sitting on, startled by the other boy’s immense speed. Flash had seen enough chunnin in full gear to tell by looking at the boy’s apparel that he was a chunnin, therefore making him of a higher level and a more powerful shinobi than Flash. Flash could also tell by looking at the other boy’s headband that he was a Kirigakure ninja, he had heard that the shinobi of this village had a reputation for being particularly brutal, however, the boy in front of him seemed nice enough. Flash heard the boy ask if he knew how dangerous it was to be at the borders, he did not know whether to take this as a threat, or a piece of friendly advice. Flash would scratch the back of his head saying, “Well, I’ve been here quite a few times lately and nothing bad has happened to me,” he would say this with a confused look on his face. Flash would then offer his hand to the Kirigakure chunnin to shake and say, “Anyways, I’m Flash Uzumaki of Tengakure, would you care to spar? I’m trying to work on my abilities and it would really help if I had a partner to train with.” Flash could clearly tell that the boy in front of him was a much more skilled and experienced shinobi than he, yet he wanted to see what it was like to spar with somebody of this skill level. After shaking the boy’s hand, if he took the handshake that is, Flash would then hop backwards about five meters, rapidly weaving a few hand-seals while doing this by the time Flash’s feet landed back on the ground from this jump, he would be done forming the hand-seals necessary for the technique that he was going to perform. All in all, this whole series of movements would take no more than a second. Flash would now be about 5 meters behind the log he had been sitting on. Flash would wait for his opponent to make the first move, wanting to get a feel for the boy’s skills before launching any attacks of his own...

Denkiteki ended up just shaking his head, the boy would get himself killed if he thought he would be fine. Denkiteki was half tempted to attack the kid, and put a fear of the borders into him, but he stayed his hand. It would be best not to assault a ninja from Tengakure, even if he probably needed it.

A sigh escaped his lips when the boy asked to par, he had left his village so that he could escape such things. “I’m sorry, I’ll have to decline your offer. I don’t want to get into a fight unless I have to.” He raised his hand as if telling the boy to stop when he reached for the hand shake, “It would probably be best if I left…”

The young Jounin would then promptly turn his back on the Tengakure nin and walk away. He was rather annoyed by the request, everyone seemed to want to fight. Especially in the borders, everyone wants to fight here… He would begin to slowly walk away from the young Genin, not really caring about him at this point. He planned to go back to the port he had entered the mainland on, and then head home.

Flash would think it quite odd that the boy who had approached him in the first place had declined his offer to spar. Flash wondered why the kid had even come up and started a conversation with him if he was just going to be a little girl and walk away. Flash thought the kid was kind of a weirdo. Flash would turn his back to the scene and walk away with his hands in his pockets, it looked like he wasn't getting any training in today. Dissappointed, Flash would trudge back to his village, maybe he could meditate or something back at his house. Flash now knew that all of the rumors that he had heard about Kirigakure ninja were true, they were a bunch of weirdos.
