Getting help with training [Demetri and Sanji no]

Demetri watched as his plan failed but was glad his friend had liked the tatic and he thought he should learn this Shadow clone jutsu the next chance he got. the he saw Sanji rush him and aim a punch towards his head and head him yell "Move and counter" as he stepped back and threw a punch at Sanji's exposed arm aiming at the inside of the elbow followed with a kick to the leg nearest to him. Again the words of his father ran through his mind and he watched this young man fight him. Demetri did not question why the kid was attacking back for he knew the only way he would learn to fight not just on instinct was to practice it first hand. "counter huh?" he asked almost to him self "with your speed it will be hard but ill try my best to." he told Sanji while moving to a more fluid stance that would allow him better control over his movement.

Sanji watched as Demetri shifted his stance and countered accordingly, exactly as Sanji had hoped he would, though it wasn't perfect. That's what practice is for. Because Sanji had intentionally used a bull-headed tactic he took the two hits, a stinging left in his flesh after each shot, but all he did was nod his head." Not bad but don't challenge a stronger opponent's momentum so directly, use my momentum against me. If I had punched through with full strength I would've just swatted away your arm and opened you up for a strong counterattack. Come at me as I just did and I'll show you what you need to do in such a situation." He says, once again standing in that inherently defensive stance of his. His stance alone should convey a lot of what he's trying to teach. Go with the flow.

Demetri saw his stance and thought he knew what was coming none the less he said "Okay here i come" as he charged at Sanji and threw a punch at his head just as he had done to him. Demetri readied his body for a throw and watched with his full attention as Sanji made his move.

Sanji watched as the smaller boy came at him and aimed right at his head. Sanji stepped in the opposite direction out of reach of the punch and gave Demetri's arm a slap with the palms of his hands to send him off his footing, then he delivered a kick as light as he could muster with enough force to knock him down, aiming at the back of his leg to buckle his knee, which would be the achieved effect if it hit.

Demetri had expected a throw and was wrong as he felt his arm get slapped away and then get kicked in the knee made him sprawl to the ground. Standing up as fast as he could Demetri understood the effect Sanji spoke of clearly now throw there balance and you can take them even if they are bigger then you. "I think i got it now. I may not be able to over power you but i can put you where you dont want to be." he said while rubbing his leg which was still stinging even with the light kick that Sanji had delivered to him. "Use the power of your oppenent against him." Demetri said outloud to confirm what Sanji was trying to teach him.

He looked on as Demetri went down to the ground, and looked a little impressed when he got right back to his feet. Sanji again stood ready for whatever may come as he stood before Demetri, nodding his head softly to affirm what he said as he repeated back, more or less, what Sanji said to him." This fact applies in most situations unless you have something to resist your opponent's onslaught, in which case you want him to come at you as hard as he can, this will allow you to strike the maximum amount of damage and finish the fight quickly. Don't always count on this, though because it's much less likely than the scenario we just demonstrated. It's those instants of advantage that will turn the tide of the battle in your favor. That gives you enough time to toss a kunai or shuriken at your opponent, if that doesn't strike a decisive blow, it'll force your opponent into an even more disadvantageous situation. That's when you hit with everything you've got and end the fight." He says, clenching his fists and nodding again." Let's go through it again, this time I'll come at you and you apply what you've learned."

To mix it up and keep Demetri on his toes he ran forward, using perhaps more speed than he intended and throwing a powerful front kick at Demetri's abdomen. Sanji was getting more serious but he still kept it fairly predictable, hoping that Demetri will find the right solution. He feared for the boy's safety if he didn't act in the right manner, because this kick oozed the true force that Sanji can put forth.

Demetri nodded as Sanji confirmed what he had thought. He listened to every word and said "Okay i think i can do this." Before Sanji charged at him. Demetri saw that he had increased the of his movement and guessed that he had done the same with the strength of his kick which was flying at his abdomen. Demetri stepped side ways and brought his elbow down on the leg coming at him and kicked out at the back of the knee of the other one and taking his fist after elbowing the leg and shotting to hit him in the throat. If Demetri had done this right Sanjis leg would be sent down to the ground while his other leg buckled under its own weight and he would be on the ground helpless for a few prescious seconds. Demetri thought of another time that he had a talk with his dad, and remeberd that each time there had been a bottle of what Demetri had thought to be sake, "Demetri when you stike strike with the strength of a man about to die put all of your power in it." again demetri returned to realitly and watched his strikes.

Sanji smiled lightly even though the elbow to his quad muscle did hurt, and he was brought to a kneeling posture after his leg was swept from under him. If not for the leg he threw the kick with being so well-extended he would've been on his back. Rather than stop to spur him on or anything, Sanji quickly lifted his hand to block the intended throat strike and attempted to grab the wrist after deflecting it. If he succeeded he'd torque his body to the right and extend his right arm out to his side, executing a crude throw technique to reinforce the concept of a small fighter facing a big one, since Sanji had so much strength and size on his side he had the liberty of overpowering his opponent when the opportunity arose in this situation.

Demetri smiled as his elbow and kick connected but was not as lucky with the strike to the throat as Sanji caught his wrist and trew him. Demetri saw the ground coming up fast and he half twisted in the air to attempt to land on his feet. His wrist hurting from the grab and throw and his other han hurting from the slide to stop him from kissing the dirt he was looking at he stood and picked up a more defenisve postion and watched Sanji for any sign of movement.

He says, not seeing any point in tiring Demetri out, it'd prevent them from doing any other training. Sanji reached into the bag he brought with him and pulls out a canteen as well as some fingerless gloves. He opened the canteen and took a long drink before offering some water to Demetri, as well as holding up the leather gloves." I want you to shadowbox using these." He says, tossing them over. The gloves were alot heavier than they look." Those also come in handy if you ever need to hit someone really hard. The padded portions contain iron sand. See how long you can shadowbox before holding your fists up becomes painful."
