Appearance: Jin is slightly on the taller side for a ten year old. He has medium length black hair that he just lets flow wherever. He prefers dark clothes, and often times surprises the people around him, if he ever wears something that is not dark. The boy also prefers long cloaks, coats, and cardigans as he seems to gravitate towards longer fits. Jin's also a sneakerhead, and will always wear shoes that make his outfit "clean."

Personality: Even though the boy grew up with no parents and an income, he never let it ruin his spirits. Jin sees the world from an optimistic and hopeful point of view. Having seen the worst of humanity in the environment he grew up in, Jin moral compass stems from the phrase, "If I had been dealt their cards, would I have become the same?" He constantly seeks to find the beauty of the world rather than focusing on the negative side of things.

Always seeking to grow his understanding of right and wrong and to become a moral shinobi in this dark world, often times, he feels a duty to protect those that are unable to protect themselves. Kids that got bullied would often follow Jin, as he would fight bullies to leave them alone. However, he is very logic over emotion, and if he decides that morally he has to leave someone behind or that he has to kill, he has no trouble doing it, although he has never killed anyone yet.

That being said, he is a prideful individual that values his strength and intelligence. He often dismisses those he finds to be unintelligent or weak, while listening attentively to people he respects.

He rarely takes things seriously and is always saying cracking jokes, even when he isn't supposed to be. As someone that suppresses all his emotions, Jin seems to very calm in high stress situations.

History: Jin grew up with no parents or money in Konohagakure. He vaguely remembers having parents as a toddler but his earliest memories is of him begging for food and money. However, the boy's optimistic attitude got him friends fast. Being a fairly strong boy for his age, he would protect many kids from bullies, and had a good reputation among the young kids. He would often get meals from the parents of the kids he protected. He was good at distracting thieves so that they would get caught, and often times shop owners would give him free things here and there. In a strange way, bits and pieces of the whole village raised Jin.

Jin loves reading works of fiction, and his favorite stories are those where the main character is a master swordsman. His dream is to be the greatest swordsman in the world. That way, those that grew up the way he did can live with a dream. He wants those that lack their self worth to look at him as an example of what they have the potential to be. He joined the Ninja Academy in hopes to become as strong as he can possibly be to achieve his dream.
