Appearance: In your inventory now rests on a tiny vial, standing at 10 centimeters tall and measuring 5 centimeters. Inside, the Black Zetsu cells do their microscopic waltz, subtly pulsating with some unknown essence. The cells' dark shade gives off a mysterious vibe, leaving you to wonder about the latent power in this unassuming container—an intriguing item for whatever lies ahead in your adventure. The ooze is pitch black and devoid of color, hues, or reflection. It appears as if the darkness within the depths of the underworld was captured and corked within. The liquid moves if sloshed, though it leans towards the closest individual, typically the person holding it as if reaching towards a new host/body to wiggle its way into.

Backstory:
Black Zetsu was a cunning being whose will and influence continue to infest today's ninja world. Long ago, the ancient being spread parts of his being out into the world. As a being who could become anything and reshape reality, ninjas who come across this substance have the chance to reinvent themselves, though it comes with never being able to return to who they once were. Many have found avenues to sell the substance on the black market but never find a buyer as it appears to be living and seeks out the strongest shinobi to ingest itself. These living remnants of the feared Black Zetsu haunt the world, finding more who will consume its cells, possibly giving it a new life within those who choose to do so.

Trait: Cleansing the Host: Black Zetsu cells can reset and allow the user to reform their body and mind. Both have their benefits, though the repercussions of such action prohibit any character from undergoing this cleansing more than once in their lifetime, even if they are brought back to life. This is done on the user's stat page and can be done as multiple steps or as a whole.

The Steps:

1. Reforming the Body: Black Zetsu Cells can reconstitute one's body into a new form. The user can change their gender, elements, and clan into one. Elements will be swapped out one-to-one, including Advanced Elements accessible at reformation (Non-exclusive AEs). Bloodline Progression is reset should the user change the clan they are a part of and will need to spend the WC on any Advanced Elements or Bloodline Stages they need to, as outlined later. Any limbs, organs, or doujutsu the user is missing at the usage of this item are not restored by this item. Transplants and seals upon the body are not affected by this unless the user chooses to let it, at which point the transplants will become clanless organs for the sake of needing the organs for survival. Should one remove organs or doujutsu before this change in form, the removed body parts cannot be transplanted back to their original body as the body will reject the transplant. (This is an exception to all transplants succeed rule.) The user's stats will be reset to that of a B-Rank Shinobi and must be declared as part of the usage of BZCs (200 Stat Points to allocate).
   
2. Cleansing the Mind: All techniques, skills, and abilities are refunded to the user as a temporary WC Bank for immediate use. All learned techniques, skills, bloodline capacities, etc., are refunded at the total cost to the user of BZCs. Any elements or additional techs learned as part of skills such as 'Extra Advanced Element' are refunded to the user at this step. As their mind is reset, it will maintain the free techniques and skills of a shinobi of their rank at the time of use, if obtained before the appropriate rank, the user may claim the WC spent as part of their usage to spend on new selections.
   
3. Reforming the Whole: Once the first two steps are appropriately declared and recorded, the final step of the BZCs allows the user to spend that temporary WC Bank on new techniques and skills. Advanced Elements not accessible during reformation and Bloodline Progression can be obtained at this step of the process. Advanced Elements that would not be accessible would be tied to one's bloodline or faction-restricted Advanced Elements. The Max Stat Discount cannot be applied until the WC has been sufficiently spent to reach max stats. Any WC that is not used is discarded and forfeited at the time of approval.
   

Any items the shinobi possesses at the time are unaffected. Should the user not wish to consume such a substance, they may sell it as a Greater Mythical Item per normal Mythical Items rules. A member must approve all uses of BZCs of staff and will be monitored for abuse. Creating a new stat page for cleaner records is highly recommended upon approval of the changes. This new stat page can operate as Step 3 of the process.
